The scammers are at their game like we experienced in the bitcoin Hacking some weeks ago. This time around, they're disguising as binance using the same template they used when Elon Musk's Twitter account was hacked.
They supply this link https://futures-binance.org/ which if you follow takes you to a medium page requesting you to participate in the giveaway. It is a big scam. Don't fall for it over again.
Always visit https://whois.domaintools.com to check when the giveaway domain was created and its owner/owners.

To be more sure about thing that has binance name on it you need to joined binance telegram and see if the event are a real deal and not just a scam that make by a scammer. If you didnt sure just ask at the telegram about the event. Im sure you will get the answer fast in there.

I saw other website that was giving bitcoin and ethereum giveaway using elon musk identity.
If im not wrong the website name is cryptoelon something, that was a fake giveaway because people required to send them some coin, and they will send back 2x or more to the sender. Honestly, i still wondering if this method really can scam people because there is no one will believe this kind of scam.

You have to always look out for domains you click at that is connected to where your funds are. Always try to book mark such sites so you always don't have to click on a new site.

Thats right, and always verify if the giveaways are real and not using big names to scam other people.

Its better to be very careful, the possibility of scam is always there so dont be fool on high return.

To keep yourself away from such scams, you must bookmark the websites which you need. Because official websites have all their social media links. If you are offered any kind of giveaway, you must check official website's social media or official announcement, for confirmation really they are offering any giveaway or not.

These scammers are like an endless stream. you report their website right now then by tomorrow they already created 100 new fake website. In twitter they also trying to impersonate some popular figure and try to deceive people although it may not work for majority of people with logic, it seems they still trying that method of scam.
There should be an extension that blocks this kind of website embedded to the browser so that people won't fall into this scam.

These types of scams have been around a lot in recent years. I don't believe they'll give away something free and of high value. I signed up for notifications from Binance and if they had an event they would text me.
Many other fake twitter pages have similar Giveaways scams.

These are obvious scam still there are really few get fall for it and I do not know why there are users that will fall for it. Anyway, the goos thing is that majority of the users especially here in the forum would be able to determine this poor way of scamming or phishing.

But this is a complete disgrace to cryptocurrency dragging the name of it or being used as a medium of abuses which we actually do not like. I guess that we need to exert more effort to share information regarding on this kind of activities. We must be vigilant always so that we coule at least help minimize or even eradicate these abuses in the future.

Did someone forwarded this information to Binance? I think this should be done. They might put this in announcement as a warning message. Or will forward it to their security department and they will try to remote it from the internet or search engines, or at least try to do it.

Those who are experienced know, that all what is connected with binance are located on binance.com/<instrument name>. Those who are new to crypto, might easily got caught with this fake page.

Yes, it is absolutely true that if we have any doubts about something that has been on behalf of the Binance exchange, then it is better to immediately ask their official telegram channel or other official social accounts, because the name Binance has been used very often by scammers for new things, both in the past and in the present.

Only those who are new in crypto will be a victim now of these giveaways that offers the to good to be true with Free or too easy steps to claim, it's been long that I'm not joining giveaways and just focus on trading as its the only way to be profitable now here in the market. So if will join, We should be aware that many scammers will use popular exchanges and site so we need to double check links to avoid phishing sites, never ever input email, account numbers or info without checking.

Next time, don't just directly link a phishing or scamming attempt link in the thread, OP.
I've encountered a lot of these as well using 000webhost hosting sites. I used primarily Coins.ph in cashing out my BTC and turns out some new page just tagged me randomly and asked me to claim my BTC in their phishing site.
Too bad, it is an obvious one.

I just made fun of it by entering random characters and typing "You screwed up." in the login details and it's funny that it logged me in, well because it is a phishing site.

Every trader should know the official Binance domain - binance.com. If you see a different domain, you should just close this page and take no action. You can also see all official giveaways on the official Facebook and Twitter pages. In any case, you should always be careful before going to an unknown address.

With all those things like that, there are still people who falls from this crapped. Though you are correct there's people who already
knew about it and with that it's now lessen the chances of getting huge amount of money.
But scammers are only after with money, they are okay with how much they will be getting as long as there's money to collect.

I don't interest in the giveaways, especially if the giveaway requires people to send their documents or any other private details.
Even if the giveaways come from binance, I will not interest as long as it needs my document.
I am sure there will be many fake giveaways in the future, and if you are not careful, you will get scam, and you will lose your document because they will run away with your document.
But that doesn't mean the giveaways are not real because I see that some giveaway is real and that giveaways don't require anything except paste the wallet address and participate in something.

They just tell you that they need your verify your wallet at first by sending the transaction.

I think it is those that are greedy and not contented that will keep falling for all these fake giveaways and so on. The truth has always been that, all the prominent exchanges, projects etc, hackers and scammers will continue building their scams around them, that is, using their features, template or whatever to attract greedy people then scam them just like they are doing in the case of Binance. Binance always known to post any activities on their twitter page, mobile app as well as on their website so anyone falling for all these will have himself to blame. Also, not just for Binance, for any giveaway whatsoever, visiting the website of that project is the best way to know how legit it is.

Thank you for notifying me about this. Actually I never send any money to receive any giveaway rewards. Because I didn't find any giveaway like this. Same giveaways I found things like scam exchange, receiving bounty rewards and transaction costs etc. All giveaways have the same point, you have to send it first. These scammers take advantage of Binance trust.

Looks like this thread has created enough visibility and now chrome is warning that the site is a possible phishing site.

Always check the official sources like Binance official social media channels to see if there is indeed a giveaway. Also make sure to verify that there is no twitter hack going on.

To check phishing related attacks I use the follwoing website
