It is a gimmick to scam some one who needs a bigger telegram channel - either for genuine reasons or for a marketing purpose.

This is based on the false reasoning that the bigger the channel/group member numbers are more legitimate that project is. Thus there rose a number of shady users who claimed to get in thousands of new members to the group at a cost.

These are mainly bots and fake accounts and do not increase the legitimacy of any project whatsoever, rather is counter-productive in the eyes of the serious investors.

In short, if you want genuine followers in your channel/group, allow it to grow organically over time. Depending on what the group/channel is about, you have to be innovative in making them come to your channel which is the tough thing to do.

However, I was hoping that there were people or services that would increase the number of followers in an organic way. Maybe with some marketing tricks, or they just have many followers themselves and by advertising my product in his group, will encourage followers to participate in the group that is about my product.
When it comes to bots and fake accounts, it will always look suspicious and I would never want get followers in that way.

It is useless, it's like you bring fake people to your twitter, and what is the use of it ?!
You can write scripts on telegram doing a fake dialog on the chat but what is the point?
I think the main idea of these groups is to bring real people together to answer them, solve their problems and help them grow as they help you grow with challenges, some fake bots, or people who make tons of telegram accounts for airdrops, dont think that goes anywhere!

If you want to see what it looks like, then just follow one of the channels or groups that they have serviced in the past. ICO days you could easily see 100k members in a week,,, these days if you get 50k you are already considered huge.

But then you see,,, no comments, just stupid shit shared and big boob women in profile photo;)

that can be considered as bots and they can be banned by the telegram too. As far as i know for the project that has already abandoned and the telegram was also removing or banning the bots in that group too. This will not give a positive impact but your group but it will be like a spam group. Remember this when the bots will never try to do any discussion.

What do you need a telegram followers for? If it is for a show up I don't think it's good idea to fake the number of followers on your telegram it's good since most of them are bots or just an account that is not active and they are not real person, still organic followers are better. Here's some negative effects of it.

1. If you have fake followers on channel - you will have a lot of followers but the views on your channel are low.
2. If you have fake followers on group - you will have a lot of followers but the activity on your channel is low.

If a channel or a page purchased the following or boosting service. They may look good in the sight of the visitors upon viewing the people that are following them. But in reality, they're all decoys.

No real engagement and that's what you get for purchasing those. I agree with the suggestion of TUE that it's better to grow your channels organically because there's real engagement from the members.

Not all of them knows the importance of engagement. What matters to them is the displaying number of followers, likes and other number indicators of their social media channels or communities.

As they want to be quick, they'll do with the shortcut and that's through purchasing those followers but most of it are fake followers or bots. No response and engagements which they can see if they are a page owner or even a Telegram channel owner.

Many of the project owners are stepping in the crypto space for the first time so you cant confirm that they all have knowledge of the same.

In fact the reason why such shady people exist to "sell followers" is because less knowledgeable people want to grow their channels/groups. Just like we all know that there is no shortcut to success similarly there is no shortcut to growing a channel/group. It takes time and a lot of work and such "buying it off" methods are going to be a loss if they dont know about it.

However it is not really possible to explain this to the person running the project, they may have already paid for such a service and then complains about it.

it's better to be transparent on your customers and investor. i think the most practical way to achieve this is through hire some social media marketer who's specializes in engaging to possible customers or investors also it's not bad to have some kind of promotions that will attract customers and investors but the very best thing to attract them is to have a good service or product even if the you hire a marketing personnel you won't be able to attract them to invest if your project is good.

There is nothing wrong with that and maybe it's the only way to get targeted followers.
But from OP, it sounded like you were looking for services who sell followers.
A small and active community is always better than a silent group with thousands of followers.
Most those services you are asking about will sell you bots or real people who are not interested in your business at all.

To be honest with you, My team provides those kind of services before and we call it growth hacking.

What we do are adding users in main group of our client, we get those users from the group choice of our client so must of the users are real and active.

But we don't guarantee a positive outcome from it and most of the time it won't help you gets investors, but yes most of our clients are satisfied.

Positive effect:

Help your community grow.
Awareness spread.
The conversations are active.

Negtive effect:

Not guaranteed to get investors from it.
Users will post referral link and leave from the group sometimes.
Badwords from other users because we get them from other groups without their permission.

If he can find the right managers, he can get more followers because they will have their followers. So the manager will try to introduce the project to his follower, while the manager can also search for another potential follower from social media. It is not easy to have many followers because not many of them will interest in the news from us. Yes, for the increase of numbers of followers it is guaranteed but it's good that he did mentioned the pros and cons of this type of service. The client should be aware that availing such service will not guarantee him the proper engagement that he might be looking for.

I think I've seen somewhere that he talks about this, his account was being added to various telegram channels that he didn't even joined. We now have an idea of how it happens.
