I agree with you partially on this point. Yes, any altcoin need to have a good solid working product in order for it to grow over time. Gambling tokens are usually slow movers as they do not have much use case other than the fact they are the gambling tokens and can be used on the particular site for gambling (or staking in some cases).

Different sites display different ATH for the BFG token. Apparently, the ATH you mentioned is displayed on CMC, while Coingecko displays that the ATH was at 3.7 cents. Furthermore, if you look at the BFG/USDT chart on Tradingview, you can see that the initial candle was as high as 25 cents.
Honestly, I am inclined to believe that the ATH data is correct on Coingecko. Even if the BFG price had really once reached 6.8 cents or even 25 cents, ordinary users would hardly have had the opportunity to sell at that price.

Well to be honest it will be too risky to lock the BFG now for a year for the purpose of staking. If we were in 2023 or at the begining of 2024, then one may have locked the token but right now the bull market and the alt season is so near and if you lock your tokens, you may miss the gains.
