Sometimes situation like this exist especially on early days of our registration on Betfury since there are instances that either we might forget our account or even the email we used. Then with that situations we struggle to recover the first account we created. But I think its also good to make them aware about situation especially if we remember that we have old account that we didn't used. So if happens that we win huge I'm just assuming that it will happen lol We won't get any problem if there's some verification process will happen. It has already happened to me that I've lost full access to an account at another casino before. I had enabled 2FA, saved the 2FA key in my password manager, but the database file (.kbdx) got corrupted and I hadn't backed it up beforehand. That's why i leave this tip: always make backup of your passphrases, especially if you have a database just for 2FA keys, whether through a local password manager (offline, where the keys are saved on the device or encrypted in the cloud, paper, or any other means). I relied heavily on cloud synchronization and never considered that the file got corrupted (probably by opening/altering the database in two instances at the same time). Cloud backup isn't always the best backup, always make offline backups of your files as well. I've been using keepass as my password manager for 08 years, and this was the first time this happened to me. I had a small balance in the casino in USD, but I won't miss it that much. Luckily, I only lost access to one casino account, as the timeframe for the slip-up was very recent (between 1 or 2 weeks). Another good idea is to always have 2FA in 2 different devices. For example,I got all of my 2FA keys in my phone, but for the most important ones I also sync in my app in the desktop computer. This way I won't lose money if I lose a device or got some problems with an APP

Many people complain about using the (i)cloud service as a backup, but I cannot express my gratitude enough for how much it simplified and facilitated the transfer to other devices. Most apps and accounts are migrated very easily, including the authenticator. Now I currently have the option of three different devices

If you ever want to switch to Android, the migration process becomes more complicated. It might be better to use like google auth, which now supports cloud sync via google account and works on both iOS and Android. More flexible in the long term.

I don't trust any cloud service exclusively icloud to store my important data. 2FA should be open source and stored on your second device, not on a same device you use to log in your account. You recommended Google Authenticator but it's not good and in security aspect, with Google Authenticator close source, let's find other 2FAs to use. Like Aegis. Aegis Authenticator, a decent alternative to Google Authenticator and Authy.

I really like it, and i dont see that much of a problem in this case. I dont hold my life savings in the accounts protected by the 2fa, so the convenience is worth it

Second, if anybody would ever think that he/she would be really stupid, taking false national pride over rational mathematical win probabilities, hahaha.
Look at it this way: if people were rational and took into consideration win probabilities compared to the odds of losing, then casinos (both online and physical) would be struggling to find players and maintaining their businesses. But it's not like that. Online casinos spring up every day and even physical casinos and betting shops are doing great worldwide. In fact, the poorer the nation and the worse the living standards, the more money people pour into gambling. There is even another fine game the Americans inveted, tripple zero roulette. with almost 8% house edge . The worst of them all and a slap in the face for every player. Lol. I didn't know this existed. Thanks for the info!

Well, I've never used any other 2fa authenticator app aside google authenticator and Authy, but right, it's only google authenticator that I am using and it's been years, and maybe the reason I choose Google authenticator is because it's the most popular and accessible 2fa app out there. Some years back, i made that mistake of running the 2fa authenticators on the same device i used for accessing the services I need for 2fa for, but later on, I realized this was a very big mistake as if that device gets stolen, the thief can easily access all my online account with the 2fa already there on the phone, I had to get another phone where I have the authenticator app and use the current phone specifically for logins, this is a mistake I believe a lot of people out there are still making even till date.

You know, I completely agree with what you said. I’ve gone through exactly what you experienced I only had 2FA enabled, and then my desktop suddenly got corrupted. Since I hadn’t made a backup, I was left with no choice but to accept it. To be honest, that was a real 'lesson learned' for me.
That’s why this time around, if there are other security measures available besides 2FA, I really make sure to add them. Especially when we're leaving funds in an account, it’s vital that we have more than just one way to regain access.
Yes, I forgot to mention that both the key that generates the codes every 30s and the hexadecimal backup of the key were in the same database. Another good idea is to always have 2FA in 2 different devices.
For example,I got all of my 2FA keys in my phone, but for the most important ones I also sync in my app in the desktop computer.
This way I won't lose money if I lose a device or got some problems with an APP
Excellent idea bitmover. I have two phones and a tablet that i'm using less and less, but I still use them.. they could very well be configured to serve as a second device to generate 2FA codes. Many people complain about using the (i)cloud service as a backup, but I cannot express my gratitude enough for how much it simplified and facilitated the transfer to other devices. Most apps and accounts are migrated very easily, including the authenticator. Now I currently have the option of three different devices When you need to migrate your 2FA backup keys to another App (which is what I did: google auth, iCloud Passwords > Keepass and similar), you'll see how painful it is, unless you have a few accounts with 2FA configured that can be migrated in minutes, or you unlink 2FA from your accounts one by one and then configure it with a new 2FA key. Neither google auth nor icloud Passwords allow this instant migration (unless it's between devices of the same brand or app). But I don't like the idea of being stuck with these apps. Many people don't know this, but the Keepass password manager can also set up 2FA keys and generate codes every 30s.

You can easily migrate your 2fa keys in Google software I made a step by step guide here a few years ago; How to export Authy 2FA secret codes to a json (no root) and migrate to AegisYou can basically get all your 2fa keys in Jason format and import to aegis. You can probably export them from aegis too

It could also be a symbol of false pride, where the US player goes, "I am an American. I play American Roulette, not that European garbage." type of stuff you would see on /r/ShitAmericansSay/ The worst, most gamblers are very stubborn, sticking only to the games they are familiar with.
But is this not what is encouraged to increase your chances of winning? I mean, playing games you are familiar with. it doesn't matter if you are playing a game of chance, no matter how you play, the chances of winning is the same. so rather than just playing the games you are familiar with, you should play the games with the lowest house edge that you would enjoy.

I asked myself that question and thought there may be a hidden reason I am not aware of that American Roulette is chosen over European Roulette by some players, but as far as I know there isn't. If both versions are available in a casino and I pick American over European, it is usually a sign of stupidity, isn't it? Or can anyone explain why it can make sense to play American instead of European?
It make sense to play American Roulette if it is the only game available in your region. So if you don't have any choice and play the game anyway make sense. But honestly if the two are available to play, it does not make sense why a gambler would choose a game where it shouts, "I add more slot for the casino to win." To anyone who understands the chance of winning having a single dead slot against a double dead slot, it would be stupid if someone chose a double dead slot (American Roulette).

This is certainly an offer that most gamblers who have had a recent win in the Gates of Fury game on this casino will be excited about—a chance to get double. For gamblers who have not played the game, there is still a chance to go play the game. Who knows? You may win big.
