Seems that fee-less usage of the card was just temporary. Yesterday I was charged 0.9% for withdrawal. Today I was charged 0.9% for an online payment - my first usage of Binance card for purchase online. Gonna wait till January 18 to confirm that everything worked smooth Smiley
I think Binance gives commission free week from the day the card is activated.

If only automatic crypto conversion works well for me, I would be 100% satisfied with my card.

P.S. A week has passed since status of my crypto.com card changed to issued. Havent received it yet. In this case, Binance worked faster.

OK, I had my first issues too.
In a shop it said "contact bank", although I had enough EUR+BTC for the payment.
Now I wanted to check the card transactions and the website gives me "System busy"...

I'm having this system busy two. How this busy system is not the reason of issues. Otherwise it seems that ability to work stable is not about Binance card. It will be like a lottery, either your payment goes well or you will have to blush and try again or use other card.

"had enough EUR+BTC" - in total? I think you can count only on the amount fiat EUR you have on the card.

"had enough EUR+BTC" - in total? I think you can count only on the amount fiat EUR you have on the card.

As I wrote in a previous post (see point 4), I also had with the plastic card one successful payment when I had 0 EUR and "enough" BTC.

And with the virtual card I certainly had at least one payment that has spent 3 currencies (EUR, BNB, BTC), but the outcome was EUR, so I guess that their problem may be at conversion to national currency, but I don't understand the logic of the problem (in order to avoid it).

LE: And yes, I've noticed afterwards, payments have been processed correctly even during "system busy", so it can be ignored.
Also you're right, I started paying myself that "third party processing fee".

So, finally what's the conclusion? I ordered Binance card and will receive it soon but from your posts it seems that it's a waste of time and a headache to use that card in real life. Despite the fact that I own multiple cards with balances and can immediately send money from any card to any card, I thought of fully moving on cryptocurrencies and crypto card but I don't want to always be in an awkward situation.
I usually trade on Binance and like their platform, so using Xapo and binance at the same time is not an optimal solution

I hope you guys report these things to Binance and they'll fix all the problems. I wish they would profesionally launch this service.

So, finally what's the conclusion?

Until now it looks like if you have fiat in your card wallet then you should be fine.
If you rely on automatic crypto-fiat conversions first, especially if the currency you want to spend is not EUR (for the EUR card), you may have surprises, but the logic behind them is unclear for now.

I've been Binance card user for almost 1 months, used it as my main card and here are my conclusions.

The automatic conversion still have issues. It works, but it slowly and it takes days for crypto to be converted on the card. If you top-up card with cryptocurrency, it will show equivalent in fiat as card total balance, but you wont be able to do with it instantly. If you use your card in ATM or POS terminal, it will say that you have insufficient funds. But your action of withdrawal or payment will be converted in few days.

Look how it works - you have have crypto on card balance, you use your card and try to pay 15 EUR for a bottle of wine. POS Terminal will display you dont have enough funds. When you check card balance next day, you will see crypto being converted to 15 EUR and now you have EUR on the balance...

Solution - exchange crypto to fiat on Binance and top-up card with it.
Binance did not charge any commission for first week usage.
Card was rejected on gas station terminal (attention to what is written about conversion above, so you wont get in funny situation).
Besides this - everything works fine.

P.S. waiting for crypto.com card for 21 days, still havent received it.

Not to hijack this thread, but has anyone also tried the new Bitpanda debit card? I'm a customer, and have in general quite a good experience, except I just offloaded my VIP status (which you get when you buy their tokens to a certain level, I liquidated as soon as it hit ATH and made a tidy profit, the VIP levels weren't ever very good to justify holding).

So it's only available to VIP. Could be yet another option/

I'm using my Binance card for about two weeks and I haven't come across those problems that you have mentioned. I keep funds on my card in BUSD (the only stablecoins that is supported) and I can spend it without a problem. I didn't make many transactions but few POS purchases and one ATM withdrawal went trough without a problem.

As for the fees, I received and activated my card on Jan 15th and yesterday I did an ATM withdrawal with a 0.5% fee, but that is probably just because of different currency exchange rates.

The only small problem that I had was changing the card's PIN number. I tried three ATMs of different banks and manage to change it on the fourth ATM.

Solution - exchange crypto to fiat on Binance and top-up card with it.
I did my first purchase with virtual card while waiting for physical version almost immediately after I submitted for one and had no issues with paying using crypto. I planned to pay with BUSD but I forgot to change the order in which currencies are spent so I ended up paying with BNB instead. Purchase was in Euro though, so I don't know if that makes any difference.

One thing that bothers me is that cashback history is completely empty, even though they mention that cashback status should be "pending, "completed" or "declined" but it doesn't show anything. I have only few BNB but still should be eligible for that 1%. I tried contacting support, but eventually gave up after waiting for a couple of hours. Anyone else with the similar issue?

Binance did not charge any commission for first week usage.
I couldn't find any info regarding that. It's weird that Binance didn't mention that anywhere if that's really the case. But I can live with up to 0.9% fee if that cashback thing works properly, especially since I was using mainly Bitcoin ATMs up until now and fees were much higher than that.

I've manually exchanged BTC to EUR and keep EUR on the balance. I could exchange it back and top-up card with BTC a check how it will go, but I dont to do it frankly. Enough of this "quests" for me. So far the card with EUR works well and I dont want to spoil anything.

Maybe they did not manage that because Binance is responsible only for the funds on the exchange. As soon as I'm doing some action with the card its VISA's play field (that is what I've understood from chat with supports). Maybe this week without commission refers only to my country. Cant comment on that.

Btw, thanks for the hint with payment order. Maybe one day I will play with it and card starts to exchange crypto to fiat automatically.
You cashback history is empty, even though you have used your card in atm and pos terminal? Strange. But I remember the first record in cashback history did not appear same day I've paid with card.

It is ok to wait few hours for support to answer your issue. But it is annoying to be logged in for hours and just wait.

Did you do that because you want to have EUR on your card or because you think that it will be rejected if you don't keep your funds in EUR? Like I said, I keep my card funds in BUSD and have no problem with shops rejecting it. However, I just remembered that the card did get rejected the first time I tried using it, but it was because for the first purchase user has to put it into the POS terminal. After that it can be used wireless (I don't know if that's the right word).

As for the Binance support, the most annoying thing is that you have to be online when it's your turn. If the chat is online, but you don't answer, they log you out and you have to wait again.

If it helps, I already had with this card payments with mixed EUR+BTC and BTC only too because my exchanged EUR have depleted.
And there's still at least one shop rejecting it no matter what.

All in all, I think that keeping only EUR or stable coins is not necessary and the problem is somewhere else (the shop's bank?).

I too have a problem with cashback. I made few transactions and I didn't get any cashback. It's not mentioned in the app and I don't have any BNB (cashback is in BNB). If someone finds any info about it, I'd be very grateful Smiley

I have payments made many days ago with status Paid. Those have no cashback yet.
The payments with the status Completed, do have the cashback.
I think that even with 0 BNB you get at least 1% cashback, but I don't know for sure since I think that I always had a couple of cents worth of BNB.

You cashback history is empty, even though you have used your card in atm and pos terminal? Strange. But I remember the first record in cashback history did not appear same day I've paid with card.
I just checked and it looks like I got the cashback, 1% as expected. It took almost four days for Binance to process the cashback transaction so I guess I just had to be a bit more patient. By the way, my purchase was with virtual card as I am still waiting for physical version so couldn't try it with ATM/pos. Now when I know that cashback is working, I can start spending more freely, next in line is media player I planned to buy anyway, but wanted to see whether cashback thing is working before trying to buy it using Binance card.

As for the Binance support, the most annoying thing is that you have to be online when it's your turn. If the chat is online, but you don't answer, they log you out and you have to wait again.
Yeah, that was my issue too. I tried contacting supporting two times in regard to cashback, and failed both times. First time I  simply stuck in a queue for an hour without my queue number changing, and 2nd time I simply had to go offline after waiting for more than 2 hours.

It's weird that your didn't get cashback at all after few transactions, since we are from the same country so that can't be a problem, and you even have physical card. Issue might be the type of transactions you did as not all are eligible for cashback. Or cashback is glitchy and it doesn't work properly in some cases, even though it should.

I actually love to use the card to pay in grocery store. Even though +1% cashback but -0.9% card usage fee is nothing, combined with shops loyalty card, it makes me feel good that I'm actually paying for food less than others Smiley

But the main purpose of using that card was to covert crypto to fiat. Previously I've used Coinbase, to sell crypto to EUR and withdraw it directly by SEPA wire to my card. But with time, when the amounts become bigger I could face the procedure of paying income tax (as funds goes directly to my local bank account).

With Binance card, their 0.9% is nothing, compared to my local income tax (it's 15-20%, depends on the amount you gain and other factors).

Hi guys, I came up with some questions.

Can you pay online with your binance card without a problem? Do you they automatically activated 3D security? I mean, do you get a verification code in your smartphone on every payment where you enter your card details?

Is there anyone user of any Neobank in Europe? Or even outside? I want to know if anyone has used their card in Neobank from Card to Card transfers without problems. I really don't understand why do they have these strange problems and I don't know anymore whether really order their card or use Wirex. Btw Binance is the best option for me, it would be very flexible.

After I read the post that @NeuroticFish wrote, I went and checked the status of cashback in the app. It looks like I got cashback for some transactions that are marked as COMPLETED. The weird thing is that some earlier transactions still have status PAID even though I made them in the same store as newer transactions that are completed.

I like the cashback feature but it's not the main reason why I ordered this card. I do most of my trading on Binance so it's great that I don't have to transfer crypto to some other exchange like Crypto.com.

Your experience goes in line with what I read about cashback. It's been glitchy for others too, like giving wrong cashback percentage or not giving cashback for eligible purchases. They will probably smooth things out eventually but it can be annoying, especially if you are holding 6,000 BNB for top tier cashback. For those higher levels cashback should work flawlessly.

It wasn't the main reason for me neither, but it is nevertheless welcomed addition as default one is just big enough to cover the fees. I got sick of those while cashing out using ATMs, so for me that was the main reason I decided to give Binance card a try.

I've manually exchanged BTC to EUR and keep EUR on the balance. I could exchange it back and top-up card with BTC a check how it will go, but I dont to do it frankly. Enough of this "quests" for me. So far the card with EUR works well and I dont want to spoil anything.

Did you do that because you want to have EUR on your card or because you think that it will be rejected if you don't keep your funds in EUR?

Sorry, missed that post.

I keep EUR because I dont want card to be rejected. Maybe this is very personal, but I feel uncomfortable when you or cashier scan my purchases and the card shows declined. I swing the card once again and it is declined again. The people behind starting to look why is it taking so long or simply sigh loudly.

I would love auto conversion feature to start working properly with my card. Last time I've exchanged BTC/EUR to top-up card with EUR the rate was around ~24700 EUR. Now it is a bit above 30k EUR. If auto conversion would work, my card balance today would be 18% greater...

Glad that cashback works properly with my card.

Still waiting for crypto.com card. Ordered it almost month ago, week ago I've got an email it was sent to me.

As I mentioned earlier, I didn't have any problems with autoconvert feature. But I still wouldn't feel comfortable having card balance in crypto because of volatility. I like to know exactly how much money I have when I want to spend it.

Imagine if you had Binance card during the March 2020. crash and held it's balance in BTC. You swipe your card and it's declined. You swipe it again, and it's declined again. You check your card balance and it's -25% than it was an hour ago. Because of that volatility I keep my card balance in BUSD.
