It’s really good news but tbh 6k of BNB is too much. I own a few dozen only so I can get 2-3% cashback. I believe that Binance will offer something more than just a cashback for BNB holders. Let’s wait!

Even though we seem to agree on the fact that these cards are only made to pump the price of BNB which has been sepculated to be a pump and dump a long time ago when it reached the two digit price range and continued upward, still people will use it and attempt to gather the rewards and use them. Just like people use a bank credit/debit card in any other country.

Bigger holders of BNB get bigger rewards. So the point is simple, just buy more and keep getting more, overconsumption to allow the owners to make more money.

I think that the cashback is not the only plus there, but I don't know for sure what will be the real costs of the card.

The competition usually has unrealistically bad exchange rates. The competition usually has monthly fees, or card issuance fee, or top up fees. Also the usual 3% extra Forex exchange fee for those not living in Eurozone is bad. Since Binance promises to solve (most of?) these, it's already a winner, with or without cashback. Also on Binance you'll keep your funds in crypto all the time, which most cards don't offer and many were asking for that.

I've ordered their card to see how is it going and if I'll really use the card I think that I won't get cashback, since I probably won't keep BNB for that.

Oh, and in order to qualify for the 7% , you have to hold 6000 BNB, or around 150k$ on Binance in their token. For 8% you have to hold nearly 500k US in their tokens, who wants to risk that much and first thing, who has that much available.

The 0.9% is not so much worrying alone. But they also say

On the other hand the Swipe CEO said (but I couldn't also verify on Binance pages) that the FX fees

have been waived. You will have near-perfect interchange bank rates on forex conversions.

This should be quite a difference from the competition I know.

The way they spread the news is very strange, they say that the cashback is 7%, but the details of that 7% seem complicated.
The card does not contain fees because it makes BNB's currency more valuable, and the fluctuation in its price will create more financing for them.
How will the balance be deducted? Will the balance be randomly deducted from the currencies or will you determine which currencies the balance will be deducted from first?

Generally, the service is not bad, but I don't think anyone would prefer to pay in cryptocurrencies more than bank balance, knowing that its value will increase (at least it will not be the first choice.)

Really expensive just to get 5% cashback. Won't be surprised if this will not be a hit in the market. And they will change their percentages here very soon once they realized they are not getting much clients. Wonder when will this hit in the Asian market? But the required tokens should be low as most Asian customers can't afford to hold that much number of tokens.

So you're going to have to either transfer your altcoins into BTC or into their tokens, and that would also be done, on their exchange .

To the general public as all cards, it presents nothing special, but it's a good way to cashout for people that make gains in crypto or the ones that they think they are avoiding banks and authorities by purchasing stuff with it. At least it's way better than an BATM.

Their target is not customers who can't afford 1-5k, they are not delivering a product that is tailored for everyone, just as VISA pays little interest on the consumers who make less than 300$ a month.

It is good to have Binance card available worldwide but I would never hold 6000 BNB tokens or around 150k$ on Binance exchange just for that 8% cashback, but I am sure lot of regular traders will do it. Looking at BNB chart I still don't see big change in price, maybe because of recent dump.

Binance offers cashback and also rewards in BNB for visa card user. In contrary, CEX.io needs to offer 0% fee because they don't have many user compared to binance which caters most of the crypto traders card transaction. Surely if they get the volume of Binance user, They will remove that offer immediately. That promo is just temporary to attract new user to use there exchange.

That shit exchange refuses me to withdraw my money even after I passed their verification process. Now they want a face verification and I got the feeling somehow they won't stop there.

I was using it anonymously before but randomly they said that I triggered their security systems because something abnormal has happened which is bullshit because after I did a small research, I learned it is happening arbitrarily to many people which makes me think,

My experience with Binance card.

Last week I have receive an email that my card is ready to be issued and I immediately ordered it. This morning I've checked my mailbox and found and envelope there with the card. Got my card in less than 1 week. It was delivered from Germany via Deutsche post.

I've transferred small amount of funds from spot account to the card just to test it. To be precise 18$ worth Swipe (SXP) tokens. Then I've finished my work and went out for a lunch. I've tried to check my card balance on the ATM screen but it just spit my card out. Tried to withdraw 10 EUR several times - got my card back again. Tried 5 EUR - same result. Then I took a risk and entered local shop (wearing mask of course) and tried to use it to pay for my purchase (around 1.5 EUR) - had to capitulate and use regular card...

Not satisfied, 1/5 stars just for quick delivery and easy UI on binance.com
