That was such a mount and no bettor can forget that and it will haunt him in the first week after that painful day imagine you can buy on this amount, but even though it hurts you have no choice but to move on, life has many ups and downs and it's just happen that you have to deal with a big amount but it's already 7 years the amount was never meant for you, maybe there is a bigger amount waiting.

If you can't move on as a gambler, that means you made a bad decision gambling what you can't afford to lose.

Okay, so given you win a big amount and you didn't stop and eventually you lose, that's what you called greediness, that's mostly the problem of gamblers, they lack discipline, hence that makes them greedy while gambling, and most likely they will fail to stop at the right timing.

Anyway, it is a double hit for you since you almost won a huge amount and you lost your money. It would be more memorable if you won on that match you put your money with but it didn't happen. Fortunately, I don't have any painful memories with regards to gambling. If you have money just continue to gamble with moderation still and maybe you can win more than you can win at that day .

That is the kind of experience that can make a lot of people to give up gambling for good, as it is not only the money he lost but all the potential profits he could have and that he was so close to getting, personally if that happened to me I am not so sure I will be able to gamble again since when it comes to money I cannot detach myself that easily from it, for example years ago I lost my wallet with a few hundreds of dollars and to this day each time I remember it I still get mad, can you imagine how mad I will be if I lost the opportunity to earn 260k?

At least you have learned your lesson, borrowing should never be done if you wanted to gamble. You will never be in the best position if you lose all that money. We should really gamble only the money we can take to lose.

Good thing for you since not all do really learn up their lesson and do still continue to have the same behavior after all the time that  they had been gambling.
We all sure that those very painful days on where we do almost hit the pot but it slips through due to unfortunate events or instances on where the main reason of loss.
In my case there are lots of scenarios but good thing i do only bet on minimal which it doesnt really put me into a situation where my finances is heavily affected.

Missed out chance or last minute or second goals/shots are really thrilling and also with some injuries occur or talking about dice or slot games
that do hit up good multiplier.Basing of on experience then i do all past them.

Perhaps, we should all have allocated some percentage of our funds in gambling because betting at this huge amount and when lost will induce a very big impact to us. But imagine if our funds is too big and the percentage of this bet is very low, it will be nothing to use because in the end, it is our emotional aspect that needs to be considered. We will bring this to the rest of our lives as a the biggest mistake. So to avoid this kind of mistake, I can suggest to risk maybe a maximum of 5 percent to our total asset.

This has happened with me a lot of times where I loose a parlay just because of a single bet and I suggest you to use sportsbet.io multi insurance where if your bet looses by a single leg you get some free bet from them.

To be honest if that happens with me where all the legs of my parlay are won and the last one remaining is now going to start, I always bet a good amount on the opposite side of the bet to ensure I always remain in profit, like if I have bet over 1.5 then I will pick under 1.5 as a single bet and make sure I am winning either ways. Sometimes when we win so many legs of the parlay we feel like we are surely going to win which is a poor mentality because it is not easy to win a 10-11 leg parlay and odds can be deceptive.

So, the lesson I can get is, when betting on parlays as much as possible for us to only enter matches that we have predicted, there is no need to enter a team based solely on feelings because it can be good as well as bad, so it would be better to avoid it and always control greed.

It is a good thing that you learned something from the experience but at the same time your bet was small so there was not a lot of damage to your finances and the profits that you could have gotten while important were not life changing, the experience of the OP was brutal he was very close to gain 260k and almost everywhere in the world that is a significant amount of money and depending where you live that could be life changing so the depression that the OP must have felt when his bet failed him was probably immense and it is something that I do not want to ever have to go through.

Yeah, it happens. Unfortunately, similar cases have happened in my betting career too, it is not a good idea to chase losses. Especially if money management is a martingale, the gambler's Fallacy is unavoidable because of human psychology. There are a lot of tempting reasons to double each bet because of falling in the idea of "fairness" if you know what I mean. 
During 2017, I have tried to recover my loss by betting the last $100 on balance to US MLS soccer games. In the first half of the match, there are two goals but during the second half of match, teams didn't score a single goal. My bet was Asian total goals(over 3) and I have lost my total balance in that gambling site.

say is true, we should enter matches that we have predicted. So the risk of loss that we will experience can be small. Another thing that

The funny part is that this happens to me as well when I pick like 10 events for a parlay I will only lose by 1 or 2 at worst but then if I bet on singles then I loose like 6 out of those same 10 bets haha that is the kind of luck I have at times. I mean yeah losing a parlay because of 1 market is very unfortunate but if you are good such that your 9 bets win out of 10 then better to make single bets and make more constant profit or maybe you still have bad luck just like I said I always have.

Yeah, even I add some extra events in the parlay just to increase the odds and make the parlay look even better and higher paying. I am sure that these events I am going to win but these extra events I add for boosting the odds

I never thought of it that way, but you're right. I knew a lot of those people were taking loans to gamble, because I was seeing $50 loans in bitcoin and things like that, which don't make sense if they're not for gambling. But the funny thing is that they don't realize that this reduces their chances of success.

giving up may sounds sucks and are applicable much for the soft hearted guys but if the gambling already starts consuming your own you ,  you wasted so much money in catching up your busts , you busted so much money in hoping to score a jackpot , blah blah. ..

that must be a go signal to stop but if everything is under control and your just playing to chill or chilling to play , theres nothing wrong with that  .

This is a pretty good strategy. I am trying to follow a similar plan myself. Money from my investments in alt coins I usually just add to my bitcoin holdings, and rarely take it for gambling. My bitcoins I just hold for the future and don't want to use for gambling at the moment. It's better to use money from bounties or signatur campaign for gambling in my opinion. Or I just add FIAT money if there is a nice casino bonus available.
