Bounty scams will never fade away as long as evil won't disappear from the surface of this earth. The only thing is that scams can be mitigated just the way the penitentiary is there to serve as punishment for crime loving individuals. Yes, I agree that Twitter bounties paying in BTC are springing up and I bet one of the major reasons that is even succeeding now is because a few of the trusted managers here are handling that. Very soon more projects and BMs are going to lash onto this angle and that's where problems may likely ensue.

Bonus scams never go away because human psychology always repeats itself. Just now Clipx deceived the hunters' KYC and disappeared. It is a new form of fraud.
Over the years there have been scams such as not paying bonuses, paying less than the original one (changing bonus funds while the show is going on), the moderators of the bounty program replace them. run out of wallets to steal the participants' bonuses ... Also scam projects happened, they raised an ICO and disappeared. Bonuses become worthless.

Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.

Of course, payment in BTC is much better than in tokens, but this does not solve the problem of scam projects. The fact is that they can talk to you to pay in BTC and ETH and even in USDT, but will they pay? Scam is when a project deceives its participants by not fulfilling its conditions. This primarily refers to the refusal of payments. In my opinion, bounty companies need to start paying their members every reporting week to get rid of scam. This would quickly show how good the project and its administration are, not to pull payments for half a year, or even more.

Well I hope that it will be possible and doable to all the bounty campaign especially to those who are joining signature campaign as well because I think paying the hunters in terms of btc, eth or any cryptos with value will help both side and most especially the project team developer to avoid dumping the value of the token/coin of that said project.

Some of the campaigns carried out by registered projects may also be intended to increase trade in the market. when bounty hunters get tokens, most will immediately sell them. even though it is small it can increase trading volume. there are positives and negatives too. we are waiting for the best and we will follow it.

Can you point us to such campaigns. we will gladly join without complain. For the scam bounties. it will never stop. i can not stop as long as this space is not regulated. we can not forget the immense Job of the admins that spots out fake bounties especially those with copied whitepaper, Newly created websites and with former scam projects. Also a reminder that id sales is a huge business in the dark web.

It's hard to lead everyone to a better campaign, because almost all campaigns have difficulties and are ultimately scams, the only thing everyone can do at this point is to do some research on their own and always be quick to take a chance through the trend. is happening, because good opportunities will not come twice in crypto.

To stop these bounty scams literally bounty funds should be escrowed by higly reputable escrow regardless if it is coin or token.

We really can’t get away with these scams if we only rely on promises, sometimes even good bounty managers are being scammed too with existing bounty promise system. If projects are really serious with their business, paying advertisers on time should be their priority too.

Totally agree with this, some projects don't usually have the idea of what will become of their fund raising process so conducting a bounty at that time is like taking chances, so in the case when the project succeed more than their expectations they will now develop cold feet, finding it difficult to pay what they have promised hunters, while also in the situation where the project did not succeed to raise funds, some team will still refuse payment since it is worthless to pay in tokens that will never have any value.

In this case, using an escrow is the best option, whatever is the outcome hunters will accept their reward.

If the scam project is lost then we as bounty hunters will be relieved because of the work we can enjoy and most importantly we always believe every project present, but nowadays the scam project has started to decrease and some of the projects I follow have paid off completely, this is what we most expect in this forum to grow faster.

We can't have an end to scam. Not only with cryptocurrency or bounty, scams are found in each and everything where there is money flow. In recent days cryptocurrency is the term that is much used term by the scammers to make money cheating the common people.

People aren't greed always, but the hope of making money make them invest without proper analysis. As bounties are always with cryptocurrency we need to do the best research and proceed further.

I'm not sure that the audit can handle checking followers. If you look at the Twitter bounty campaign, you can see accounts with thousands of followers. All of them are not real, because they have a mutual following on each other and they are not interested in anything in the accounts to which they are followed except for following in response.
Personally, I think that it is better to use accounts with hundreds of real followers who read this person's news in advertising than accounts with tens of thousands of mutual followers.

actually scam projects are still very active out there, you are just lucky to pick legit projects. to scams, our bounty campaigns will not be able to escape. Well said,  once  the market  matured  everyone working with it will realize how things works,  they'll learned  how to pick right and true  projects,  they will stay  away  from  scsm projects  that  only lead  them  to  waste  their  time and participation.  There's always a  good time  learning  things  that  will  make it  profitable  and not  to lose  anything from each works  that they'll  going  to provide.

There is already a selected bounty list thread available so that bounty hunters prefer to join the recommended bounty, but each participant must rely on their own analysis compared to the special team because not all bounties that have been recommended will be good, there are also some bounties that are not good and have low pay.

I honestly believe it will never go away because the scammers are using their "gifts" to think outside the box for a new kind of scamming tactic, technique, etc. We are the ones who should adjust to this circumstances. Until now, I still made mistakes even if I'm here for a long while. Because we're not perfect, but we keep learning and growing.

Always DYOR before participating in such bounty campaigns like the coin or token's fundamentals, utilities, whitepaper, roadmap, team, partnerships, etc. It may be a time-consuming process but it's gonna be worth it, so that you won't waste time getting scammed again. However, they're unpredictable too. We just have to manage our risks well.

I think slowly the trend will change and the campaigns will have to pay in real money to hunters for the job done, just like there is trillion dollar freelancing market where people do gigs and get paid in real money similarly bounty hunting can be like that. Unfortunately due to a lot of scams, low payouts and intentional delays and denials from many campaigns and projects the bounty market is under pressure and struggling to survive.
The solution is that hunters should immediately stop promoting suspicious, low quality and fake projects and at the same time the projects should look to pay in real money for the work done.

Bounty scams will gradually go away but not very soon because it will take time.Bounty hunters should have knowledge about a project before promoting it to avoid promoting scams and it is also important to know the team behind a project and in that way the bounty scams will gradually fade with time.

Well, that is the right perspective of yours. I saw that bounty hunters now are can able to have their own research to find real or scam bounty projects. It is easy for them to identify those scam projects and avoid promoting them, --if they know the basic learning how to busted scam projects perhaps those bounty scams will gradually go away and did not go back again because they are easy to spot. Investors and bounty hunters should cooperate and will not promote scam bounty projects. If this will happen, for sure no one will create a trap as a scam intention.
