I recently did a campaign.I cam there for 4 weeks and got the payment of  12$ and the minimum 20$ dollars required to be kept in the web account. As such I think it is a silent scam.In this way, innocent hunters are being deceived.

This 12$ you are talking has nothing to do with the scam. This is all about demand. If the project is demanded, the dollar equivalent of your bounty earning would be more. But the fact that they ask a deposit of 20$ is suspicious. Did they name a reason why these 20$ must be kept on the account?

You're make it complicated, it's still social media campaign as we see in bounty program... It just different on the payment.

Social media campaign in service section is paid with Bitcoin only, while social media campaign in bounty section is paid from the project coin/token or other altcoin nor stablecoin.

Of course people will prefer in Bitcoin payment, but it doesn't mean it will stop scam project on bounty section. Even if they participate in service section, it also doesn't mean they can't participate in bounty section too because they can join all social media campaign if they want as long they didn't cheating.
Yep, it is a nice change to see some social media campaigns paying in bitcoin similar to what happens with signature campaigns, however if you take a look there are many members wearing signatures from bounty campaigns that pay with those useless tokens because they still believe they can get profits with them and they have not disappeared despite bitcoin signature campaigns being here for years, so it does not make sense that bounty campaigns will suddenly disappear just because a few social media campaigns that actually care about their participants have appeared.

The pandemic made it worse that people will take less fees as long as its not a scam. This is fair than spending weeks of promoting a project but recieves nothing in the end because its a scam.

The users who joined the altcoin bounty campaigns are the ones expecting the project isn't scam and that prices could one day go up which is why some of them even hold their tokens, not selling while the price is lesss than what they expect. Ultimately lose it all.

Bounty scam will never go away. As long as there is money to make, people will always try to make as much as possible even if it is by cheating.
I am currently part of a signature campaign and it already happened that someone just copied my Bitcointalk profile name and link and applied again for the same signature bounty but with another ETH adress of course.
I was lucky that i found it myself and reported it to the bounty manager before i was banned or something.

This is actually good for hunters. They are sure that they are getting paid after their work even though the project may get closed after the long run. Just like the twitter audit, I would love to see bitcointalk forum audit to see if any scammer is out there. This will be beneficial to all.

twitter campaigns that pays in btc are already been there ever since before and not just by this month or this year but bounty scam are also been there , twitter or some sort of social media campaigns did not totally solve them . social media campaigns that pays in btc are short duration only so if those were gone people will go back applying on bounties again .

twitter campaign on service board have taken a long rest before but they only bring it back maybe because they want to clear the reputation of twitter in regards to the hacking and scamming that happen on the said platform

How is it possible username and profile link must be the same, of course multiple. But I will check from the next time I join. You thought it was right, cheaters are always trying to take the opportunity of the current situation like now DeFi hype. In a few days, so many scammers will start scam DeFi projects. Actually, we can't minimize the whole situation.

Good for you that you have found it earlier. I also think that bounty scam will always be here even if there will be new changes in the crypto market, scammers will still find new ways to chase the money of other people. The legends here may have learned from those bounty scamming but for those who have newly entered the crypto market, they will surely be the target of those scammers.

Just recently we are beginning to have some Twitter campaign giving hunters reward in btc in the service section. This is one sure way to take off this muster that seem like a cancer called bounty scam.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.
I hope that this will be applicable to all the bounty campaign especially in signature campaigns because mostly of the bounty hunters are using the forum as way of earning as well and also I am hoping that there will be one day a regulator group that will monitor and regulate the entry of very suspicious bounty campaigns so that it will be a very good way also to help us bounty hunters.

If you look at the lists of bounty participants, more than half of them are scammers because they offer stolen content. I had such that articles were stolen from me personally, so I had to communicate with managers in order to remove the scammers. Honestly, it's a pity that such a wonderful way of earning money was killed by human greed.

things like that have happened even in the real world. it's just that, people are doing it online more often nowadays. To be honest, now I see that quite a lot of projects become a scam if they make payments without going through escrow. things like scammer prevention have been widely recommended, it's just that there are still more people affected by a scam than those who are not. However, choosing a bounty that has an escrow would be preferable.

The thing is that most of the payment's rates of signature bounties have been decreased and that's because some high ranks members get satisfied by maybe 15$ per week!
that's not even enough for the fee I don't know why they do it?it hurts signature bounties payments.

The latest one is this Streamix bounty campaign where they offer 1500 of their token out of their 100 million supply I don't know the potential of the token but if Bounty hunters only managed to get 30 in the signature campaign it's not even worth it unless the token will reach $5 which is unlikely.

It all depend on the participants as if they are agree to work for less then why the companies will pay higher. I remember the past that when the participants were only working for high payment campaigns then all of them started to pay higher to the participants.

There is the case of demand and supply in every field of life which rule the rates of that field.

The Twitter campaign that you’re talking about is something that is totally different from the one you’re seeing here, and it’s also not something new, I have known about it for long now and they pay you based on how many followers you have on Twitter, which I know for sure that most of us here don’t even have followers.

So, what makes you think that people will be interested in that one?

Getting followers on Twitter and having engagements is a really difficult thing. The campaign that’s being done in this forum is more easier.

this is the best example of how twitter campaign has been paying

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5276327.0

the more followers is the big payment you can receive .

these days of ours it seems that twitter campaigns are entering the Bitcoin paying service not like in the past that only Bounties are having these campaigns .

actually it is not only of gathering followers but it is a must that your followers must be involving into crypto and not just random
 people from around the world.

The current twitter campaign that you've talked about is seemingly fine, it went smooth and orderly. Some applied but just bee rejected due to fake/non-crypto followers. The company itself paid only those related to crypto followers and they have the right as well to decline the applications.

Social media is the fastest way to spread the news, it is just a little bit disappointing to see that some did scam others using fake account hidden by known personalities. But this is not the case that pushes the company to eliminate social media campaigns because it was not all the cases that will happen.

I am not confident that this bounty scam will dissappear anytime soon since there are many gullible investors and also there is a surge of platforms on the internet that these scammers can use to invite people to their false projects. What needs to be done is the acceptance of big finance to crypto so at least we might get some sort of protection from them. We just have to be really really patient and vigilant to these kinds of schemes.

The bonus scams are getting smaller and smaller, they will not disappear as ICO projects are becoming more difficult in the fundraising process.
Scams are becoming more and more sophisticated if not a scam project then the bounty manager will scam and not distribute it to everyone. Recently ClipX tricked hunters' KYC passports. The bounty managers and bounty hunt participants are all scams.

If you say that the bounty manager and participants in the bounty hunt are all scams, then you are also a con artist because you are a bounty participant at this time Grin, in fact you have to sort this into two parts, first the project team that committed fraud and the second the project manager who committed fraud, although in general both are deceiving, this is not the same because only a small proportion of bounty managers cheat, while managers who are truly trusted in this forum will not do such stupid things.
