Scams are hard to get rid of, but experienced bounty managers may not recruit potential scam projects early in the review process.  Let there be fewer bounty campaigns, but they will be of higher quality.

We don't blame the project that did the scam. We have to blame the stupid participants who continued to follow the scam campaign even though it was clear and was told by senior members that the project was a scam but forced to join.

That's not always the cases, sometimes legit projects end up scamming participants, I've seen few projects that get listed on top exchanges but refuse to send tokens to all bounty hunters, others hold tokens for years until you forget them, all you will get is they haven't launch yet, why introduce a bounty campaign if they aren't ready to launch the project yet?

All depending on the rules requested by the Manager who handles a project.  There are also some that do not require that. For the scam, there will be no end.

For them they need a big research for a project how it goes, and monitize a project before participating because it has a big potential if it's scam, lack of investors of it also and not reach the minimum amount for their projects.

It always happens differently. History shows that a fairly large number of fraudsters, promoting their personal projects, after the completion of the Bounty company, still paid coins to the hunters. And some even listed their coins like Centra. Therefore, these coins still litter wallets. Thus, it is impossible to predict with 100% accuracy or be sure that before the end of the Bounty Company you will learn about the real plans of the developers and the authenticity of the project.

That's not 100% true,  but agree with you because everthing has their pros and cons. As more of the newbies want instant huge reward, more of them support those scam projects instead of having a red flag by the DT/Scam buster members.

I'm believing that gradually, will may start seeing the inclusion of other social media signatures like Facebook, LinkedIn, medium, article, videos, blogs and many more, coming up in  both bounty section and service. I'm sure that hunters will prefer social media signature than the scam going on in the board.

We can all wish that but only one or two campaign is doing that right now we don't know if this sustainable we all developers do no thave budget for this kind of campaign, they are still going to rely on their own token to reward bounty hunters because it's free money, they want all the coins coming from their sales on their coffer to maximize building their platform or they will have more money if they are going to run away.

Your right, scam will never end end, but hope you know it's not just in crypto sphere alone, there are scams in real life business deals also, I think bit by bit scam has become a part of every business or our society at large, there will always be some set of people who will want to take advantage of others ignorance and exploit them just to make money, funny how people can do anything just to make money, they can go as far as to hurt others in order to make it.

In addition, choosing a bounty manager who is experienced and professional in handling bounties is an alternative that needs to be tried to avoid a scam project. A reputable bounty manager will try to research whether the project is really legit or not.
 This is very helpful if we do not have good enough skills in analysis. But remember, Dwyor, even experienced bounty managers can go wrong, so be prepared with all the risks.

I guess one reason that we are seeing that Twitter campaign is because of the audit which takes care of non real followers of an account. So if your Twitter account isn't made of real followers, you stand no chance of being selected. The audit is surely to check out accounts with fake followers and that is also good to stop scamming.

I think this must be used by some developers who often make scam projects, but the thing that should be paid attention to is the bounty hunter must learn to analyze a project. I'm sure if the bounty hunter was smart in choosing the bounty, the bounty scam would disappear by itself. No matter how good the quality of a field is, it must have a small hole for some bad guys to take advantage of.

While doing signature campaigns, the users can't rely on fake profiles. So the vast majority of the cheating cases can be found with social media bounties. Taking a few basic precautions can eliminate 99% of the cheating as far as social media bounty is concerned. But the big question is whether the bounty campaign managers want to put the extra effort to flag these fake profiles or not. Before choosing a project to participate in the bounty, you need to understand for yourself - do you want to earn a few dollars right now, or do you want to get coins that can grow well in the future? If you want to make money now, then look for bounty where they pay in bitcoins with weekly payment. If you work from the perspective, study the projects well, read the white paper, see what participants with high ranks write about the project.

Getting bounty rewards paid in Bitcoin doesn't erase scammers, how sure are you that you will get paid because a bounty promised to pay in Bitcoin? Promise is an empty word until it get fulfilled, think about it, even new projects can start promising hunters in eth and BTC but when bounty is over you might not get a dime

But it's hard for us to find Bounties that pay with BTC or ETH, Right now we really have to be smart choosing a Bounty project, otherwise you will fall into a Bounty scam. Personally, I only join Bounties which are handled by trusted managers.

I dont think scam bounties would ever end as long as people keep participating in those scam projects even though they know its a scam project and i guess we are all interested in bounty project that would pay in btc and we would gladly participate but i dont think there would ever be an end to scam project

Distribute reward with btc or ether, is already available since years ago.but those are very few & can't help preventing bounty scam. If we have a look at bounty thread, most of them are scam, some are totally garbage. good projects are a few.i notice, some newbie manager with 1 activity post scam bounties to scam our fund.even though newbie hunter continuously joining with them & promoting scams, that should be stopped. Using escrow might be helpful to solve this problem

Campaigns do not want to do that because for that you need money, they want to distribute their tokens instead, that way they do not have to use their limited financial resources on paying their bounty hunters, and what is even worse is that when the coin crashes they are going to blame that on the bounty hunters so while for us that is terrible for those developers this is the perfect excuse, so they do not have any reason to stop paying bounty hunters with coins of no value as long as bounty hunters keep accepting those conditions.

I would not say that twitter audit is a panacea for fraud. In the same way, there are a huge number of services that are still capable of create extra subscribers for twitter accounts, and twitter audit is not able to do anything about it. It seems to me that the problem of fraud can only get smaller, but it will never be possible to get rid of it completely.
