Any escrows for gift cards here?

I want to sell an Xbox Game Pass promo code I recently acquired, but I won't dare list it here without an escrow. The problem is most of the escrows won't escrow gift cards, so who are my available options?

I will not sell it directly because my buyers could be less than kind and open a bogus scam accusation.

Just try to contact them one by one if they will accept your offer. Because usually as I had heard they accept crypto only but I think your Xbox Game Pass promo code is easy for them to hold, just like holding cryptocurrency.

The only escrow that might accept your gift card transactions is @ranochigo.

Or the other way around for a much smoother process escrow holds the payment while the buyer redeems it since the game pass card is similar to a spotify card.

You think wrong since nothing is like cryptocurrency. Vouchers, gift cards, codes, etc digital wares can be recovered and that's basically the reason why escrows don't want to deal with them/ holding them. Also, the list that you post with escrow providers it's outdated and doesn't have all the escrows around.

Believe me, that's the first place I went when trying to find an escrow. I contacted two of them this morning and they both said they don't escrow digital goods.

I ended up creating the marketplace thread without an escrow at all. Relative to the 95% newbie swarm in that board and given my 450 merit earned, I appear a little more trustworthy to demand they send first than the average mystery seller with his own thread. (Yes, I know earned merit means nothing in terms of trustworthiness, but it looks better than the throwaway accounts I'm contending with for sales.)

You can ask members to buy physical cards and pay a higher amount, for example, instead of paying $ 100 to pay $ 105.

You might've misread the thread, he's the one selling the gift card that's why he's looking for escrow.

Here's his selling thread there's also an explanation on how he got the card so it shouldn't be an issue to the buyer.

I won't escrow a gift card unless I know the seller of the card very well.

The chance of fraud is much higher on gift cards.  The card could be one of 20 gift cards purchased with a stolen credit card. This can leave the escrow in a legal issue.


Vs escrow of an antminer mining unit.  Much more likely it was purchased from bitmain then it is one of 20 stolen miners from a farm.

So the escrow is at far less risk. Also as the escrow of goods sent with a tracking number I can release the tracking info to authorities if there is an issue. So It would look like I am cooperating with them.

A digital gift card there is no tracking and not much info I can share to the cops if it turns out to be bad.

I have escrowed bitmain coupons which are digital but they are somewhat trackable as they involve two bitmain accounts.


Which means  authorities can get some info from me showing the two accounts which should have real addresses. as bitmain does kyc.

Escrow is not fun to provide.  A lot can go wrong for the person providing escrow.
