Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines?

I did not tried the mentioned machine, yes there is a lot of gambling sige who are licensed and better to play because it's fair and yiu are sure your money is safe. Maybe they have reasons why that gambling games in that country are booming so why people keep playing that even it is not register or does not permit. Many people are sadly playing gambling during the pandemic instead of buying their needs it's good playing but in moderation .

Many see gambling as an opportunity to have a living but it's not good for a long run. Maybe we were able to win now but we're not sure upto when so we better know our priorities like whether to risk in unlicensed casino wherein fact there are many online and physical casinos that operates better and safer. Gambling already is already a risky activity, why we will want to add more pressure playing in illegal one that may be confiscated or have ambush when caught. Better play safe in place area than add risk in playing in illegal Once.

Some gamblers do not know that's it's unlicensed and illegal and they don't care if they are, they just want to play, they just want to gamble, a gambler will always gamble, this is the reason why do have a lot of underground gambling you cannot stop people from gambling they have the urge to gamble they have to release it whether legal or illegal.

Most of  them (gambler) don't care about the documentation of the gamble casino, they are after what they can get out from the gambling platform. Some of them look out for conveniences (how the gambling platform present their activities) while they choose to gamble, gambling platforms I have visited can be as a result of their conveniences with them and not based on their licensed or others, though, they are important but convenience is my watchword.

Illegal/unlicensed platform are most likely giving fair gaming experience. Why? --Because they can easily reach their quota to earn a profit.
Since they are operating without any license, they doesnt need to pay debts and use the fund from their profits to do so.
Because they are almost operating for free! Also, --gambling license is very expensive, I can tell. And that's why regulated gambling sites don't have that fairness compared to illegal ones. Hope this helped!

Gambling addiction is like any other addiction. It will make you do irrational things. They fool themselves into thinking that they've found the perfect method that will make them millionaires and there is no convincing them otherwise. When you lose sight of reality you're not going to bother looking into the provable fairness of a game and other important details like that.

I have to disagree at some point. It's no doubt that some gamblers don't really look into it's licensed as long as these gambling sites offer something good here in the community plus the fact that they are responsive and do what is best to give gamblers a good experience.

When you encounter a site like that, is license will be your first thing to ask? I doubt it is.

And to how much is the cost of having a license, no it's not expensive.

The answer to this question could be really quite simple in that its a crowd effect, the separate amounts spent on this machine may be quite small and each player assumes the game to be legitimate and reasonable to play and in any case its a small amount gambled so many just wont come back.   Passing trade along busy routes can be quite high and we may not be talking regulars who would build up a knowledge of the likely luck or payout rate on this machine.
   I could play pinball for ten minutes also and never expect anything back, this machine is slightly more nefarious then that but as a modern machine I bet its quite similar in appearing to be a game with bright flashing lights.    Its a momentary distraction, obviously its unfair on gamblers who come back or large bettors who expected a fair game and were incorrect in that assumption.

I agree that some don't bother either machines are licensed or not.

But I disagree that most of them are convinced that gambling would make them millionaires or rich. Some of them just wanted to fool around and lay waste their money on these machines. They want to have fun and I don't think they would be asking whether these machines are licensed since they would just play and go.

This is why I think if there are unlicensed machine that being played it will be subject for violating the rules ad regulations set by the third party especially the government. And if that is the case the casino will be facing huge penalties to which think they afraid to get it with unless they know how to negotiate the authority making deals under the table. This is some sort of corruption but actually it did happen here in our place.

If the machines are at an illegal casino, the casino can manipulate the machines because they can do everything before the gamblers use the machine. The government will not know about those machines because the illegal casino is tough to find. The government had to search in many places, including to ask people. But I don't know if I already played those machines or not, but think I never try on those machines because I don't go to the illegal casino. But maybe other people already try machines, especially for people who play in the random casino, which they don't know if that casino is legal or illegal.

It might interest you that, thousands of complaints from forum members are from those gambling platforms you and i think to be registered and licensed. Reach a quota by those unlicensed gambling platforms doesn't make them to exit their activities online, though this can be true to some extent , also, licensed gambling do some of these aforementioned illegalities, so, its not peculiar with the unlicensed casinos. Here are some fees for registry gambling casinos,     USA: $30k - $70k, Europe: 20,000 euros and my dear country Nigeria: #50k - #1.5M, with all these fees gambling license isn't expensive IMO.
