Why do people keep playing unlicensed, illegal slot machines?

To be honest, I did not understand the relationship between the legality/and the illegality of slots and the destruction of the player's life. The player can destroy his life or spoil the lives of others in a completely legal casino. He certainly needs good advice (not to do this) but these are completely different questions.

It's related to the RTP. Even for reputable mainstream slot operators, the actual RTP and the fairness are often under question, let alone the shady slot machines with unknown RTP. well, this kind of practice is quite common. it was either the authority/police owns it or the owner of the machines are paying them to keep their business from being raided. I remember some policemen being arrested or being investigated for protecting the owners of the illegal machine from being raided.

Theoretically, yes, but in practice, people don't feel the difference. As you said it yourself earlier, "The player can destroy his life or spoil the lives of others in a completely legal casino." And that's the absolute truth, because even if the house edge was zero, many gamblers would still lose all their money. And that's why people don't feel the difference: you can lose all you have on both, legal or illegal slot machines. But the higher the RTP the lower chances of that happening, and the RTP of illegal slots is unknown, and most likely not that high.

The main reason people play illegal slots is because they are not actually aware of the legality and credibility of the slot machine. Hi mu_enrico, I don't think people like this care about the license and legality of the slot machines they play. As long as they can make money, they will continue to do it even though they have been cheated for months until they realize it. I don't know what make them like this, whether because of the comfort or convenience that is offered near them. But honestly, I've never seen it in my place.

I'm not sure they really care about this. The addiction comes because they have won some money previously and returned for good luck. But without realizing it, they have been tricked by machines. About slots, I love them and play them online quite often.

how old are you ? you dont need to worry bout your age when you play on illegal slots because they are not strict and they dont restrict kids . you can play the slot machine even if not for gambling but play because you are curious and did i mention it can give happiness ? play some penny and stop once it over and youll be just fine .

Agree with sir Betwrong, people can get rekt even with zero HE, so they probably cannot feel the difference. About the intermediate wins, the 80% RTP slots can also give that, and someone lucky could still win big.

Never played on such a machine so cannot comment on how much rigged it can be. One of the reasons people might prefer to play there is easy availability. Since, people like to prefer things they have easy access to, they might be choosing these machines.

I did not tried the mentioned machine, yes there is a lot of gambling sige who are licensed and better to play because it's fair and yiu are sure your money is safe. Maybe they have reasons why that gambling games in that country are booming so why people keep playing that even it is not register or does not permit.
