The leaderboard bonus has just started few days ago, let it run for several weeks first (testing) and if duelbits think that it is worth enough to add more money in the prizepool then I'm sure they will add more paid places. In case adjusting the current prize pool from 5 to 10, I think it will be too low prize for those who are wagering decent amount of money.

Well that top five only be rewarded if you win on daily and weekly wagered. If you are on 4th or 5th place on hourly wager contest, you won't win anything. It is still a wagering contest where bankroll does matter, the only chance for small bankroll players is when there is no whales or no other players are playing at the same hour but I doubt you will find that time. It is almost guaranteed that no small bank rollers will be able to win to that leaderboard as there are lots of high-rolling players currently, and only the top 3 leaders will be rewarded with the hourly leaderboard. The one sitting on the 3rd place right now already wagered ~$20,000. Almost impossible for a user that has small bankroll.

You are right, small gamblers have very low chances of being included and winning on such leaderboards.  But there is still the possibility of being included in the position if they are lucky in the first round of betting before their bankroll is exhausted and if they want to continue playing until the wager increases and the desired result is achieved and getting the prize.
