What's even more amazing is Trump is either spending his own money (or more likely his die-hard supporters) to fund legal challenges that have ended up proving Trump didn't win.

More and more Trump's time in the White Hose will be defined by his refusal to accept he was beaten fair and square in a two horse (or rather donkey) race.  It'll be a mere formality when the betting agencies payout on the Biden win.

Guys, although I said earlier that Trump's chances were not zero, I would rather discourage you from offering those bets with 1.02 and 1.05 odds. The thing is that if Trump wins, Betfair and PredictIt pay out from the funds collected from Biden bettors, losing nothing themselves and even earning something with the house edge, while you are risking to lose your own money.

Yes, it's always profitable to be the house, but these are exchanges in which case the layers/backers are risking their money.

Trump somehow wins, so I have my personal reasons for laying.

I'm just curious, so this thing is not yet over in sportsbook? Does a sportsbook offer an odds of 20X if you bet on Trump?

What sportsbook was that if there's is, I like to take some chances.

It's kind of funny that most of my bets on the election paid out after the states were called a few days later. I still have one tiny bet that is outstanding for Trump to win and would totally accept if the bookmaker decided to close it as a loss. I appreciate that *technically* Trump could make it back, but that would be a kind of unprecedented undermining of the democratic process and there seem like very few legitimate routes back at this point.

This is the first time it happens in the modern American election let's see how things will play out, let's see how stubborn Trump is, how they are going to kick out Trump, will they need a court ruling on this, or will the military force Trump to vacate the position.

It's only over a month to go, I think Trump is buying time he is weighing his option, once he sees how futile it is to hang on he will eventually give up, why on Earth he wants to hang on when he wants to have more time playing golf.

What uncertainty? Are you guys expecting everyone to wait until Biden officially sits in the office early next year? You guys are simply not willing to take risks even after the official votes matched the projected votes after recounts in several swing states.

Trump literally admitted himself that he will allow Biden to begin using Presidential resources recently. Books like Sportsbet, Stake etc paid their gamblers quickly.

It would be wise to process all bets without wasting anymore time since the results are clear and there is zero chance for them to change at this point.

@casperBGD yes it’s over and now the bookies cannot delay the payments of those gamblers who had wagered on Biden to win, and if they continue to do so then they’ll risk the wrath of the gamblers as they’re within their rights to sue the bookies.

Furthermore I feel that Trump did some good things too e.g. he stopped the trade privilege for India (saving lots of money for US), took a stand against China (almost sealed a new trade deal*), and I believe that had he been little more sympathetic then things would have changed for better under him.

* (Phase I completed, but more details are yet left to be finalised.)

It is very embarrassing for Trump supporters to reject Biden's victory, I agree that US Democracy looks bad because of this.
Trump and his supporters are wasting time hoping that Trump will come back, how many lawyers assist Trump will not change
the US presidential election result. They all have to be able to learn to accept defeat and move on, don't make the situation less

I haven't seen any evidence for the same. Even here in Bitcointalk, there were some very well publicized bets between well known users. The one comes to my mind is the 0.1 BTC bet waged between suchmoon and eddie13. After the results came out and it was clear that Trump had lost, eddie13 transferred the coins to suchmoon. At this point, I have to say that it is the Biden supporters who are behaving in a delusional manner, by posting fake claims.

I found this weird too. It's like they want to give out free money to people. Many books even offered around 1.05-1.1 odds on Biden even after AP called the race in favor of Biden which took me by surprise. Easy money.

even though I believe there's no chance for Trump coming back I'd still not bet 1 btc to get .04 only... and risk losing 1btc (even if I had a full bitcoin lol)
