I haven't used to it. Sending/receiving Bitcoin to a wrong account hasn't happened. If there exists an address upon our mistyping of the address, it might reach the particular location. The chance for the existence of the mistyped address is very low.
That didn't happen to me either. I hope it doesn't happen by mistake Sad

Exactly this things will happen by mistake if you copy wrong address which is from different users . But if you are sure that you are always copying the right address then I don't think you will experience that mistake . The only possible mistake you can do is to send different amount from what you plan to send .
Yes exactly if i copy always same address there is nothing happen to like this to send my asset .However if i am not wrong that another occur is to mistake to copy any letter but the transaction will not be complete .So don't need to hurry to make any transaction.

I've had the wrong experience of sending BTC when paying for online purchases, but it's not my fault. At that time, the seller gave me the wrong address, and I copied and pasted the address. when I told him that BTC was delivered, he even accused me of sending it to the wrong address. even though she gave me the wrong address. Finally, he admitted his mistake and apologized to me and immediately sent my order

That's sad, being accused of something even if it is not your fault. On the other side, that's good that the seller admitted his mistake. Maybe next time when purchasing something, you should ask twice or more if the btc address they gave is the correct one, just to make sure. Always check the transaction details first before confirming it because the transactions made with cryptocurrencies are irreversible. Once it is done, you cannot take it back.

I have never received BTC from someone who wrongly sent bitcoins to my bitcoin wallet address, events like this rarely happen because many people send very carefully.
people who accept bitcoin are very lucky because it is very rare for this kind of error to occur.
If someone is hoping to receive bitcoins from the wrong person sending bitcoins to his wallet address, I think he is a very lazy person.

I once sent some mBtc to an address that is void. I copy-pasted the address not knowing that I am missing the last two characters of it. It doesn't matter though but since no one actually owns that address, that mBtc I sent will be delivered into the void which means that would be unusable and won't be retrieved.

events like this rarely happen because many people send very carefully.
Sending bitcoin to a wrong address is not any event, it's a pure mistake. And everyone use to be careful while sending coins to other. But mistake happens, we can't deny it.

Wait Huh what is that! Accept or receive bitcoin from someone who send it by mistake.

Lazy! Why? Can you define it ...

At least make your reply intelligible to all of us. After seeing this reply I have checked your post history. Might be your English skill isn't good enough. Take time to make a good post without these kind of meaningless talk.

This has never happened to me.  No one ever sent me any BTC by mistake.  So I don't know very well about it. But as far as I know, if you send Bitcoin or any other coin to another address by mistake, it will be a loss for you.  You may never get those coins back.  Although no one accidentally sends a coin to anyone.  The chances of making such a mistake are very low.

I think that was a rare experience if that ever happens because the BTC address is a long string combination of letters and numbers that's why it's impossible to send it by a mistake By the way, sending BTC to BCH address and vice versa has been happening around last I heard about it is from a CoinBase user but unfortunately, there is no progress about that incident. To avoid such mistakes it's better to check carefully before sending any cryptocurrencies to any wallet from time to time.

I have experience with this but not particularly in the bitcoin's blockchain. I lost almost 100 USD when I tried to transfer from ERC20 address to BEP20. Though the address was the same, the network is different so I couldn't withdraw my funds and I think it was lost forever. Lesson learned here is that even if we are sure that we copy-pasted the address correctly, always double-check the other options on your screen to make sure that you are transacting on the right network.

I have not experienced such a thing before, I have not mistakenly sent BTC to a wrong address and I have also not received any from someone. Unless you have to type out the whole address one letter after the other or there is some kind of malware on your device, I don’t see why such a thing would be happening when you can just copy the address of the person that’s receiving and paste it on your wallet before sending. I have seen people saying that made such a mistake, and I always wonder what could have led to them making such a mistake when they can just copy-paste and recheck twice or more to know if their address is correct.

And lastly, if you send Bitcoin to another cryptocurrency address you’re going to lose it. I don’t think anyone would do this as well, unless they just want to act dumb.

When I was a newbie in the cryptocurrency world, installed software from unknown sources on my computer. The malware changing the address I copied had infiltrated into my computer. As a result, I sent bitcoin to the wrong address and lost money.

~
Dusting attack seems like a just a new word in my ears but I think it was just accidental to be put into your wallet though.
I never experienced sending to a wrong address of even in an incomplete address like missing a single digit.
All I know is that when you send to a different coin wallet that isn't part of an exchange, I think the coin is lost.

When I was first getting in to bitcoin I accidentally sent bitcoin to an address that was incorrect.  I was actually purchasing something from a company who accepted bitcoin.  I believe I simply sent it to a non-working address, or non-established address.  I believe this is called losing bitcoin to the "abyss".  At the time it was bout $200 bucks and now that coins would be worth of $1,000.  Valuable lesson learned.

Mistakes may be there and it sometimes happens. But I personally, never did it because it may affect losing the coin. I often read many cases of this, transferring into the wrong address or wrong memo/tag. Most of them will lose money or coins. But in some cases, they can still get it if they face the wrong memo. but of course, the process is so complicated that we may not easily fix that.

Everyone will make a mistake and there is a big possibility that someone will send a btc to wrong address but in your case there is a big possibility
that it was intentional and there is a fishy action behind the scene like a hacking attempt.

Not all the wallet has the support to help you but an exchange can likely to help if in case they have the power to recover the funds that were sent like
btc instead of bch and vice versa.

No I never had accidentally sent or received BTC from another address.
Even if I am doing plenty of transaction at the same time I always double check the address before sending it,
I think it was always been my habit since I was a kid and played PS1 I always double save my games to make sure that I wouldn't repeat the stage or lose the items I gained.

In such type of situation, Electruem can be really helpful.
Coming to the topic, this hasn't happened to me not for a single time also.
I guess people are careful enough to check the BTC address after they copy, paste it.
Yes it sometimes may happen if you are doing plenty of transitions at a particular period of time.
But still this have never happened with me.

I have never received an amount of BCH in my wallet with such a nominal amount.
As for the problem of wrongly sending BTC to another address, I think it is impossible for BTC to be returned to the sender.
All Bitcoin transactions are irreversible, so there is no way to reverse a transaction that has already been sent.

Hello friend, I have not had, let's say, that great luck but I would like it to happen, I know if other cryptocurrencies have been sent to you by exchange for the simple reason that the transfer memo is wrong in a number or letter, greetings
