Do you think that the adoption is really happening?

I think it's been going on for a while now, especially in the USA&Canada where most crypto ATMs are located, and if I'm not mistaken this ATM is located somewhere in the US or maybe in Canada. You’re probably excited to be able to buy BTC in your city, but as I see the fee is really high and you should know that this is certainly one of the most expensive ways to buy or sell crypto.

However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't try the service - I'd love to try it too, but there's no such device near me.

Maybe this is not the first time Bitcoin ATMs are available in stores, even Bitcoin ATMs are available in some other countries too, but not all countries provide Bitcoin ATMs because some countries do not allow Bitcoin to enter and use Bitcoin. If you want to try it and don't know how to use it, you can see it on YouTube, surely someone has made a video how to use a Bitcoin ATM.

This may be just the beginning, want this to see in major parts of the globe and also for this it is important that government does support or atleast have some certain rules so that it is easier for the merchants when rules are clear so it becomes easier to start accepting it. Some countries are still unclear about bitcoin and thus not much adoption could be seen.
and we can contribute by taking a picture also if we have seen something like this in our places and posting here in forum.
this will encourage more investors to put more money because of the advertising and popularization that happening worldwide.

Maybe this is not the first time Bitcoin ATMs are available in stores, even Bitcoin ATMs are available in some other countries too, but not all countries provide Bitcoin ATMs because some countries do not allow Bitcoin to enter and use Bitcoin. If you want to try it and don't know how to use it, you can see it on YouTube, surely someone has made a video how to use a Bitcoin ATM.
yups but this is the first time in OP's place that's why he is amazed seeing one installed ,and even us if we finda  new location for ATM surely we will be proud.

It's happening and it's real but that's just a small portion of the adoption that we're getting. There were posts that I've seen stores accepting bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. So this isn't that different from those and it's just satisfying to see stores accept.
When you're also one of those people who holds it and happily looking at the sign.

Everything needs a process, bitcoin still new rather than another asset or currency, and also there is no entity who manages it which will hamper the mass adoption. Yeah, currently there still many people who will say that bitcoin doesn't have a real function which sooner or later the price will go to zero. But who knows in the future, where many people will be aware of the decentralized system.

It just a beginning, I hope there will be many people who will introduce bitcoin byways that very easy to understand and can be accepted by all people. So as they will truly understand how bitcoin works, not just bitcoin as an investment only. They should know bitcoin can help them in many aspects, if the situation comes we will see there will be many place to purchase bitcoin.

I think you should try it, so you can tell us how it feels.
Would really love too especially now that it hasn't gone mainstream yet.

That will be great news for people around your city because they will see the BTC logo and the word "Bitcoin" in that local store. I hope that it can attract many people to have a curiosity to know more about bitcoin, and maybe you can talk with the owner of that local store.
Well it will literally make people attract to it, new things comes with curiosity for anyone so they will definitely give it a google search and will find tons of information about it, and when they see they can make profit out of it their eyes will make this money eyes emoji lol.

You can share info or discuss other things related to bitcoin and another crypto, so the owner can try to integrate with the other coin. I don't know about the adoption process in your city, but I hope that after this, bitcoin can grow in your country, and hopefully, more people will have an interest and will use bitcoin.
I don't really know where it is, but I think it is somewhere in Europe. Hopefully people will come to try it, a single experience would make them believe that everything they see on the news is different.

I remember articles about teachers who will teaching and giving lectures about Bitcoin at universities and technical schools in many countries, but I have not found an article that talks about it in the present tense... But I think that everything is still ahead.

This is another step for bitcoin adoption, I wonder if what country it is as I can see that they are already in the process of fully accepting and using bitcoin. Having an easy access in buying bitcoin is what most of the bitcoin users wants and a little push then the bitcoin adoption in that country will surely to spread easily especially if there will be many users who will likely to embrace bitcoin.

This is good publicity for bitcoin, however, if the fee is high I doubt if it will be advisable to use ATMs than going thru exchanges if you have an option to choose between the two. This might be something new since there are many places around the globe which has a bitcoin machine, but exposure is exposure so it is still beneficial. This will make bitcoin more accessible to people.

I can't consider this as an adoption in my opinion but more of an awareness thingy. People will be aware that there is another currency like Bitcoin where you can use it into transactions.
The fee though is inconsiderable. 15% higher than the other ones is too high to bear especially for those who are just buying small chunks of it.

Well, Bitcoin ATM's are the start of creating awareness to the people that there is a Bitcoin that is existing and more people being aware to it will lead to them using it (hopefully) and that is where adoption starts.

This is good news, it will also make other people think about what is bitcoin or cryptocurrency because of the crypto ATM that they can see physically. Imagine a person who is walking around and then he sees this kind of ATM, then he might think what is cryptocurrency and for him to know about it he may use google and search about it, as we can see there is much information about cryptocurrency that we can see upon searching and once a person who doesn't things about it at all could be curious about it and try some other things that may help him to understand it more.

This innovation shows how successful bitcoin is and maybe it feels so great using it. I am excited to have it in our own country.

I prefer to hear news like this, about the wider adoption of bitcoin and actually applied in the real world. Bitcoin ATM machines have indeed been old news and have been widely reviewed. But when you find a Bitcoin ATM machine in the area where you live, it becomes extraordinary.

Buying non-KYC Bitcoin at a Bitcoin ATM machine is an easy way for everyone. I also want to try to buy in a bitcoin machine, but in the area where I live there are still you and I don't think there will ever be.

A Bitcoin ATM in a store adds value to the business and invites its customers to use its ATMs. The massive adoption would come through the smartphone and applications to pay with Bitcoin as well as debit cards recharged with Bitcoin. Each user would use the best means to satisfy their needs when buying and selling Bitcoin.

It is happening in your city, but it will need more time to see the adoption process will increase in your city. Perhaps, people will curious about that bitcoin ATM machine, and they will ask the local store owner what that is. But remember, we are still at the pandemic, and people tend to save their money to buy their daily needs than to try with the new things. Perhaps, if that is a new job, they will try it. But for trying to buy bitcoin, I am not sure, but it could attract some people who have a big curiosity about the new thing.

At least, you have one bitcoin ATM machine in your city, so you can withdraw or buy bitcoin from that machine. But I wonder how much the fee for using that machine. I hope that the fee is not too high.

What country it is?, There is some source?.
I hope my country already adopt this kind of changes because most of the time there is a lot of centralized wallet and exchange we have well for sure its centralized bitcoin atm at least, Still, Im hoping they will use this but right now most of the people on my country doesn't really recognize the use of the bitcoin atm. Also I'm curious how do they withdraw their funds? there is a specific card? code? or they type their bitcoin address manually?. However this is a good adaptation towards to the future of the cryptocurrency and bitcoin.

Lol you know that fewer from around the world knows or use bitcoin so how it comes that it adds value and invites costumer ?
there are only few of us who will be happy if there is an ATM of bitcoin installed near us.

and also there are other option in my place in which we ca easily buy Bitcoin without many time to spend.

Hope we will spread the knowledge about Bitcoin and then next is the ATM machines .

First things first, from which country was this taken? Cause if it was in the US side, more ATM's over there isn't really that needed if we consider adoption due to that place having the majority of the available atms already. If it was in the Asia side, then that's good news indeed, though tbh, it is much more efficient, cheaper and possibly more secure to buy coins from an exchange. Some ATM's out there are used for money laundering purposes after all, and no matter how small, a chance is still a chance, unless the company behind the ATM is a legit one.

Still, it does spread news of it to those not in the know. People would be quite curious seeing an ATM being used not for normal fiat, but rather for crypto after all. They may not use it, but at the very least, they would learn of the term Bitcoin and possibly search it up, adding to the population to the people that at least are not ignorant of what crypto is.

Isn't it more than obvious that this is an English-speaking area - it's the USA or Canada, you just need to look at the image from the OP to understand that this is not Asia. Even though most of the existing crypto ATMs are in these countries, that doesn't mean that there are enough of them, because if their number is constantly increasing, it means that there is demand - and it should also be taken into account that the US is a large territory with almost 330 million inhabitants.

It is obvious that in some other countries there is no demand for this type of ATM, or the regulations are simply such that they prevent anyone who would like to engage in such activities.
