thats the utility of this coin . as of now defi is still breathing somehow so we can expect that there will be an activity flowing on uni exchange and this exchange is more open to any defi projects so earning a volume is never been that hard for uni .

Defi is definitely still breathing even though you can see now ETH is back at 570 and falling thanks to Bitcoin slipping up after hitting 24k yet again yesterday. The problem with this is that, when the DeFi hype is over, will Uniswap be still active as it was? And seeing the UNI price this week, instead of going up as what bitcoin is having these days, UNI is slowly going down. This early, they are already showing an alarming condition for UNI. So my guess is that this token is not for long term and will slowly go down from its current value, maybe even hitting $1. Unless, UNI team will think of another activity that can get the interest of crypto traders again.

UNI will always be a popular decentralized swap service and why? it's caused by there's no a lot of change on its daily trade volume. that means if uni's stat is really stable right now. Ethereum just need mass adoption to make uniswap will get more and more volume to come. I have a feeling 2012 would be a good year for exchange tokens, if CoinBase IPO happens to be successful with that crazy valuation being thrown around, I expect all these big exchanges valuation to adjust to that valuation, assuming CoinBase is valued $100 I expect Uniswap to have atleast have of its valuation because its Volume is now close to that of CoinBase.

It may happen but not for now. This time uni acts as a governance token for its users and that means when people owned uni and they can participate in the voting to chose which development plan for the future.

I'm not saying this coin is bad but IMO if it's not worthy to hodl UNI at this moment. UNI is a governance token and it's not so utilized as another token like BNB or something else. The price of UNI will be very stable consider it will need a lot of time to be utilized.

When you are interesting in UNI's governance and you can own some of the UNI token. it's not only about the hype
