There is no assurance yet whether someone actually sent some BTC, it could just be them who sends those 4.7 BTC but if anyone really did, it must be very unfortunate. Time of crisis yet people still send money to an investment scheme that never provides a guarantee.

That's good news, at least there'll be no more victims. But, if someone did send those btcs, they might be desperate to have money especially this trying time. Though, they should be careful on where to place their money or crypto. Sometimes, those which we think that can help us will turn out to be the things that'll make us broke.

I think this kind of issue are already common right now on the internet mostly on YouTube even in Instagram too there are live videos.

I think it's better if you immediately report the channel and also avoid to entertain this kind of live videos because most of the time all they want is just to gain more viewers so they can reach out a lot of beginners on investment to join them.

No one will give a free money because you join them. Learn from the mistake of other people.

Good thing that Youtube took immediate action for this scam attempt. The video was deleted, and I think the channel has been taken down. Do not invest on any invesrments that offera you guys to double your money within a short time frame. There is no thing like that. As much as I hope that there's no victim of that, it looks like there are some that fell into this. Learn your lesson guys.

In past there are something around like this in which with many viewers and i don't know what happens if they victimized many bitcoiner.

Now this one seems like having small viewers and some maybe a pass thru viewers that has been used because of adds.

For the update,this video was removed in youtube.They mentioned the reason of youtube violation,so you no need to worry about it.And with this ,no one is ready to send bitcoin to anyone.Because in this pandemic situation,people hard to earn money from their job.Many was unemployed as of now.Only the online jobs helping the people to earn some money from it.You made a good work.

Gladly this video is already deleted on youtube due to dozens of here that reported it. Apparently, Gemini's project is already hooked with a hacking event on a popular Filipino Youtuber named AkosiDogie, in which hackers used his youtube's popularity to promote the Gemini project. AFAIK he already retrieved it but still the hackers are nowhere to be found but one thing is for sure, Gemini project resides near or inside Philippines. I don't know why Gemini keeps doing this hideous thing. Hopefully, their scam would stop soon.

It should be always like that, a quick response will avoid certain scamming incidents from this social media channels. We can't removed the fct that there's people who fall in anyhow.

Youtube responded very well and quickly took action to remove the video, thanks to those who believe and care about bitcoin and report that the video is a scam.
Scammers will devise strategies to be convincing and promising with big profits and so on so that the audience will feel tempted, and their target is new people who don't know and understand bitcoin well.

I see it happening right now on youtube, crypto airdrop-related advertisements appear more frequently. I don't understand what kind of business google does in allowing such ads to appear in their apps.
Need more thorough censorship when publishing stuff like this, hopefully, no one has been fooled these days.

I remember some thread before here and it's all about a youtube video that's giving unrealistic results about trading. Although it is still part of the scam where people give something to the vloggers in exchange of their fake information about how they trade. But in reality those people doesn't have a clue yet what is the real movement of the market. That's why I agree with you that people should practice doing their own research if they don't know what they were facing.

Theft of money from people has existed throughout history and in various ways, and the only way to deal with it in any period is to increase the level of public awareness.
For example, I remember that in 2017 the rate of bank card fraud reached its peak and fraudsters used to empty accounts in various ways.
And the government intervened here and reduced this by increasing public awareness.

Exactly! People should be more aware of what is going on to stop their scam scheme. It's always the best way to get rid of them because if not, more people would be a victim of their fraud. Public awareness is always an eye-opener whatever you plan to do with it to the public but it could also be used as a black propaganda or to spread rumors that would create FUD and chaos.

So basically, there's still a loophole in said action so people should know the truth by their own self. History really taught as everything, so it's all up to us to decide what is wrong and what is right. Bitcoin is supposed to help us to get out from poverty but we can't still deny the fact that there are still greedy people out there who takes advantage to the newbies.

I am happy that this site cannot be opened anymore, if it can still be opened, more people will be deceived.  This incident can also make other people do not believe in cryptocurrency, this is not worthy of being imitated, it is better to be arrested and put in prison.  This is a sneaky way, if you want to make a profit you better invest and trade.

I think YouTube has responded because this video can't be opened anymore.  he shouldn't have committed this scam because it could damage bitcoin's reputation, the price of bitcoin could steadfastly fall because of the smaller buyers in the crypto market.  I hope his YouTube account will be immediately banned by YouTube.

I tried to report it, but it looks like that Youtube has taken down the video. The only problem these days is that most newbies and beginners have fell for it, because of the "shiny figure syndrome".

As of right now, they got around 5.22 BTC in their balance as of this time of writing. Oh well....

This must always serve to be an awareness not to easily fall or believe into anything you have just watched into any social media platforms like YouTube for there are very relevant instances that those scammers are also getting into such platforms baiting newbies into promising deals which literally ends up for them to believe and follow what those scammers told them to do. If ever YouTube does not regulate it as early as possible to take down such video, may we serve as the ones to help other people and state that what they are watching is a scam and we must do act and duly report such videos so that no one will get victimized by such scams. This must be a call for everybody not to fall on those scam schemes for those are obviously targeting newbies out there due to desperation and lack of prior knowledge about such certain things.

Scammer are everywhere in social media that is why we have to study  the bitcoin YouTube rules very well before investing. It's better to do some research concerning the bitcoin YouTube very well before joining the train because there are many scammers in the forums.

AFAIK in the past there's channel named "Live News" too promoting scam, but the subscriber is 1.8 million while this channel only have 196K. I've already reported the channel and I hope you doing same.

That "Live News" is the one who's hacking youtube accounts. The hacker's modus is hacking famous or grown youtube accounts - deleting all of it's videos - change the name to LiveNews - Going on live and start waiting for someone to fall for their trap. I've seen this "Live News" 2x and doing the same thing but gracefully the hacked accounts were recovered within a day and restored its videos. My only concern is cryptocurrency is having a bad image over the viewers and the subscribers of those accounts.

Such scam should not happen to anyone above the member level, because I expect them to have known how to guide against  those scam point.day after day, those hackers her advancing in their strategies everyday and they know that we are close to bull run, good projects are emerging, I know it is already under quick control, since the news is already well circulated. I think when people are interested in this kind of scam on YouTube they are not experienced people, they are just new investors who don't understand how bitcoin works and how to get it. Certainly not by way of a giveaway that is done with a scammer. By sending 1 BTC then getting 2BTC. it is a type of scam that many who are familiar with bitcoin and the investment world are already familiar with it.

Currently the ads that appear on YouTube do look legitimate, but the content presented must be filtered again. Many scammers take advantage of YouTube advertisements to share their videos so that they are watched by many people and hope to get more victims. I even get all kinds of YouTube video ads every time I watch a video.

We also have to stop the chain of video scammers as mentioned by the OP by reporting them as fraudulent and scam content and currently proven videos it has been deleted by youtube.
