Its hard to say mate. The current price of bitcoin is at 11k plus USD Im not sure if its gonna stay healthy or what. But Im seeing it as a fake pump and likely to go down again but not to that point of $1800 thats way too low for btc to fall short. I think $3k is the lowest it go down since March corona news but of course there are other news right now that could affect it. Like the US election, covid19 shit and many more.

I think bitcoin price could break its ATH in the future. But timeline for that cant be say, its supply is stuck at 21million and as long as it circulate it could go up soon.

Nobody knows what the price of bitcoin will be in the future, maybe it will still decrease to $1800 before it will increase back, but with the look of things, it is not possible, the price of bitcoin at the worst low in three years now has been $3800, we should not expect anything lower than $3000 at worst. But on the other hand, let us expect more price increase, because likely as bitcoin is getting more adoption, it will be difficult for the price to favor the low trends but favor price increase trends.

$1800 is quite a very deep. Remember when the coronavirus started to spread all over the world this march? It is also happened on other market especially stock market, Bitcoin was able to drop around $3,500+ but then again, Bitcoin recovered in just a short period of time.

I think this topic should be moved in the speculation section since it discusses price assumption. But to answer this concern, your assumption regarding Bitcoin's market value is quite low but it is indeed possible especially if there is something troublesome that will negatively affect its price in the future. But if it is alike with the "usual" dumps, it is hard to tell that its market price will be this low even if it is a price correction.

If you are familiar with what happened before, its market price fell in an instant from $20k usd. But its market value since then never touch below $5k usd. Who knows right? But I would probably not assume this thing to occur because the market price of Bitcoin, and more likely other cryptos as well, will be having a hard time to recover.

As he mentioned ‘bottom’ at his post, so it's about the lower range not new ATH.

Might be not that low, though we can't say surely, what may happen in future. Even bitcoin market showing strong position during this pandemic. There was a crisis in March but it has recovered back quickly. Bitcoin price dropped at 4k usd range that time. Many people believing that bitcoin won't drop lower than 4k range if we see another crisis.

I have the same opinion that's too low and many will surely fill thier bag if that things happen , remember the lowest price bitcoin I see after the ATH in 2017 is 4500$ and it recover faster than expected and now back to 10k$ .

If this things happen I will make a loan myself and will invest it all to bitcoin because it will recover faster and that means easy profit for those people who can buy in that price.

I guess you missed to add another zero the speculation. With the current growth rate I think that bitcoin will only further increase in price.
Also, if you are making a speculation then you should also share on what basis you are making the prediction.
If you have some new or some analysis then you should have shared that and if you don't have those then your speculation will be of no importance.

I don't know whether the OP is wrong or not in writing numbers but for me 1.8k will not happen for me it's impossible that the base number will happen in the future, now bitcoin is getting more and more known, even big investors now hold shares there so where maybe that basic figure will be achieved?

Then what bad news if it really hits 1.8k? only corona at that time was the lowest price because the global economic chaos was comprehensive so any bad news would not be that basic for the price of bitcoin.

Nobody else does "2.5x profit and leave" method as far as I understand, when bitcoin price drops to under half of what it used to be in under 3 months, I buy and when it moves 2.5x higher than what I bought I sell and that s about it, I do not do anything else.

You may think that it doesn't happen that frequently but it totally does, I have managed to do it in 2019 and I did it in 2020 now (at least one part of it) and I honestly believe that people should be more patient. While you are trying to make that quick 5-10% profit and end up losing (or maybe earning) and going all crazy, I am here making 2x profit every year because I am just patient and I do not need to make any profit at all that quickly, I can make a profit months even a year later if I have to.

$1800 from the technical aspect is almost impossible at this point.

The only thing that could make Bitcoin drop so low would be a major code flaw or something. Maybe if at least 3 top exchanges were hacked and drained in 1 month, but it's also not possible since the big ones have cold walets. You cann take only a small part of their total coins even if you manage to hack them.

Going below 3000 would require at least 6 months of a serious bear market, but we've just been in a bear market. Cycles don't work like that.

From my trading analysis, there is nothing say that bitcoin can go even lower than $8000 in the near future. Other business and financial news also make a same statement like me.

I have been with this forum quite some time now, --and there is a lot of speculations that have been stated here since then. People will always expect Bitcoin to increase on such times. But I realized that you just had to wait for the perfect timing. Bitcoin will soon increase, expect that. But speculations are really hard to trust as of now. So, be it, let see what happens.

that price is very low to go back for btc. we have been in tough times so many times, and yet we havent seen that price for very long time.

everyone can tell their prediction. and everyone is free to do that. but only few can make a logical reasoning of why a certain price will be hit. and when it comes to bitcoin, a lot of factors are in play. no one can precisely give the price at a certain period of time. we have no crystal balls here!

This is why its called speculation because no one really knows on what would happen in the future.You're saying here that you somewhat sure that bitcoin would hit $1800 in future.

Ill ask you this? Do you at least show some analysis on why you do say so? Lots will surely contradict because even on that big dump or crash, the price had only plummeted around $3k on maximum
but im aint saying that this would be a solid thing to rely on because we know that bitcoins price can go deep further on least expected.

Lots are still have these common questions in mind on what is the bottom price? This would be an endless question as long you do deal with this market.
We have our own speculations on its price, important here is that you do know the utilize the movements for you to make money or profits.
