You can see all listed coin/tokens on UNISWAP on here.  https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/uniswap/

from CMC, we can see there are ~40 coin/tokens listed on there (5 of them don't have any volume anyway). I don't think it's scam or not, but rather about pump and dump coin/token on UNISWAP

Yes there are so many scam tokens in the uniswap.

I have seen some scam coins in uniswap before.

From what I have seen if the scam coins will always have a very big interest to be offered to the buyers. These scam coins never try to reveal the identity of the creator. Just remind it and you will be safe never try to deal with anonymous coin.

To avoid scam tokens, go to the correct UNISWAP website and check the correct contract of the tokens you need to exchange

Uniswap isn't yet the top exchange, so there will be scam coins or tokens. You notice the 24-hour trading volume of coins, many shit or scam coins will have no volume or very low volume.

What happen with uniswap? I think is good exchange market although you must pay with higher amount for your fee, when have listed coin but not get worth value is not wrong and the same happen with bigger exchange market like Binance, Kucoin and Gate by listing coin with lower price. You must check before some coin listed on uniswap and getting have good price and good position on coinmarketcap or not before investing, always have news with some coin listed onuniswapp.

maybe i looked not at cmc but coingecko and i don't see any oddities happening there still looks fair trading and goes well and volume is quite high. Until now, I haven't heard about this information or maybe I missed it. but I agree with the colleagues above that there is nothing strange, we will wait for the latest news later.

I saw some scam tokens that listed on the uniswap just like yuno, kimchi, sushi and many more.
These coins were only taking the hype as a way to grab the demands from the market. That means if the scammers who have made this coin know how to get the hype from the UNIswap.

The uniswap itself is having a similar mechanism like etherdelta or forkdelta and that makes everyone able to listing the token on the uniswap.

There are tons of scams projects on Uniswap sometimes you can easily spot them and, sometimes spotting them is a bit difficult that's why make sure that you are 100% sure that you are trading the correct contract otherwise, you could lose your money.

There are many uniswap projects in the field of bounty campaigns in crypto no project scam can be understood projects perform very well in the beginning but then lock everything and scam. Therefore by monitoring the site well the teams will have to verify how reliable the manager is otherwise you will be at a loss currently uniswap tokens are more scams so it is better to stay away from them.

if you see from the link that you share, in my opinion it is natural. If there is a pump / dump of tokens listed on Uniswap, I think that's how the market works. many crypto or token markets, and they are all pretty much the same.

If it is a true decentralized exchange then it should be possible for scams to be listed. I don't know if their governance model has any way to prevent this. That's why it is important to do your research before trading.

Just as the typical market that we've seen through ICO and other source of crowd fundings. A project's goal is to be listed on any certain exchange that has good liquidity, now, with the emergence of defi, uniswap and other swapping platforms.

With Uniswap, they can easily do what they want.

They will be listed, they get hype, they dump the tokens for those investors that just got in and still on hype with their projects as mentioned above.

Are there scam tokens in UNISWAP?

Who saw before?

How do you describe them?

Uniswap still isnt the top exchange so scam tokens will stay make its way to get inside it. the best way to avoid investing or buying scam tokens is to get to uniswaps legit list of tokens and see if the contacts match. also avoid tokens with anonymous teams behind them.

Many project defi scam on uniswap

It's not Uniswap's fault, just because the project is not good. They use uniswap as their farm.

There are tons of scam tokens on UNISWAP, you asked how to describe them? Well they are mostly in disguise, they trick victims by pretending to be the original tokens but one way to expose them is their smart contract, it will surely be different, for example a token name can be SNIP and scammers will create their own fake version of SNIP, if care is not taken you will think it's the same, be more friendly with Smart Contract

Are there scam tokens in UNISWAP?

Who saw before?

How do you describe them?

Because it's easy to list the token here there's a possibility that there are a lot of scam token here, to be sure check each token that you want to trade here, there's nothing like checking the usage of the token that you want to trade if it's only for pump and dump then better be careful on this token because eventually, you will lose here.

In order to avoid the possibility of being caught by scammers who sell their tokens through UNISWAP, you need to carefully analyze the project whose tokens you want to exchange. If this project does not have information about the team on their website, then this is always an alarming sign. You also need to look carefully to see if you are confusing the names of tokens. Sometimes tokens have names that are quite similar to the names of other well-known tokens. And scammers take advantage of this. Therefore, you need to be careful in this matter.
