I saw some too. There are so many scammers who try to make fake tokens, announce early listings and unfortunately there are still many who get scammed. My advice, always be active and follow the project that you are going to invest in, at least check their social media activities to confirm the correctness of the information

Uniswap is very vulnerable to scams not only on token trading but recently we read bad news that it lost $20k assets due to a fake uniswap app on google playstore. Please research using the Uniswap exchange and get all access from the official site including smart contracts to start trading.

Things like this have also happened to the fake Myetherwallet application in the Google Playstore in the past, so accuracy is really needed in this case, because scammers always make fake applications that are almost similar to the real ones so that if someone is unable to tell the difference it will always be victims of scammers.

yes, there are many scam tokens on uniswap. because I have some tokens and it is from airdrop. why do i say it's a scam.?
1. The token is not listed officially.
2. tokens have liquidity. but 90% of tokens are held by dev.
3. Liquidity is burned on H-1 airdrop distribution. so that when all airdrops are finished distribution, the liquidity is already 0.

There are many scam tokens on UNISWAP that aren't known to the world and not available on coinmarketcap and coingecko, you can detect  them by their smart contract address, but they mostly have same name with a real working project, assuming a well known token is named Apple, scammers will name their token Apple too but the only difference will be the smart contract address, this is why one must check smart contract address of the original token they want to buy on Uniswap before diving in

There are many scam token on uniswap. recently a project called kingswap with ticker $KING have its token clone and there are many variant on Uniswap so in case you buy the fake one, you are on your own. This is the reason why it is always available to swap using the original links provided by the original project team. Many of the scam token have very low volume so you can easily know this by checking the swap history on the platform

In my opinion there are many scam tokens on Uniswap because people can make ERC20 tokens and list them on Uniswap and therefore, Uniswap gives a warning to be careful. To see whether the token is a scam or not, in my opinion it is also difficult but I will look at the smart contract, whether there is information about their social media channel or not. In addition, whether there are many token holders or not

The disadvantages of DEX are many than Centralized exchanges

1. Anybody ( real devs or scammers ) can list on DEX
2. DEX listing are 100% free .
3. It's easier to list clone tokens on DEX
4. No verification since DEX are fully decentralized

The only way to stay ahead of scammers on DEX exchanges is using the right smart contract address, get that from the project team and you will be safe

Many a tokens that can easily access this exchange,but this being decentralized. And you can also check first if the site is correct before you deposit anything or else.So every one have to try to save this work. Just try to be observant to avoid being scammed.So we have have to becareful about scam work or scam project.


Scam this is word is a baad thing for every one. So we have to removing this work.Never try work badly.Provably a scam project makes us a lot of pain that beacause of i am a little bounty hunter. So every one have to be becareful about scam work.And never do this work.

I can say that some the tokens are scam and some of them are not. I have been participated in a lot of signature campaign since I started. I’ve experienced being scammed 4 times I guess and I accepted that, some of the tokens are not in good shape, like its all dropping where you can’t even gain a profit to it. That is my through experienced only.

Any such application has a scam of coins, no listings are needed to trade there, it is enough to have a smart contract, but without liquidity you are unlikely to do this and in general be careful!

As i exprianced on uniswap exchange, around hundred or more of tokens being traded, are scam and most of those are defi token.nowadays it able to created strong waves in industry! Although scam threads were created against this issues, where hundred of defi tokens only listed on uniswap, started downfall incredibly within night.after those incidents, don't know why people still trade there! scam tokens still launched through uniswap, should be avoid those

Scam token this is the common word in this space.This is one of worst work in this space.  There are so many tokens who are a scam in uniswap because many new projects are left without any large liquidity makes investors not so interested in even many projects that revoke their liquidity for fear of losing a lot of money in the project that many scams are too through their purchase in their uniswap sell all their tokens and scam all the money investors.

they may be registered but not legally tradable and have trading volume as well. For those who don't have a request, I don't think it will be a problem. several DeFi scam projects have taken place and are being used by fraudsters. especially at Uniswap, they can manage everything. I think there should be a filter to filter out tokens that are ready to trade and those that have just come in for disposal.

Use smart contract address to identify fake and legit tokens on uniswap, not just scam projects are listed on Uniswap but also cloned tokens with same name as popular tokens in crypto space, you can't just go on Uniswap and search for a token name, you can end up buying a fake token, unfortunately the freedom of decentralization gets us to where we are today, anybody can list tokens on UNISWAP and other DEXs
