Not just lane every sort of decipline and civic sense is joke to all of us desis and it would be weird thing to say but being honest, I feel if someone following every rule all the time and that too in our system and environment then they will be left behind because we have too many people lol and competing for literally every freaking thing.

Desi Mindset: Anyone who follows the rules is just stupid.

Everything is so normalized, from cutting the queue, bribing to get a signature and the system is completely broken, while the population makes everything so competitive, which is why even if anyone who has the intention of following rules can't do it forever.

Very true. Even if someone follows the rules they will be overpowered by the others who are fully corrupted.
Just recently I came across a news where a person was sitting on his window seat in Vande Bharat but was brutally beaten by MLA goons.
The so called MLA wanted to enjoy window seat but couldn't get one and decided to show his power on an innocent.
His goons ended up thrashing the person which can be seen in the video.

I could only say that, we live in such a low trust society. Tbh not surprising this ex MLA from bjp acted like a goon. Being rawdy and dabang/bahubali is the first criteria to get tickets for election from any political party.

Think he's still not arrested. The sad and at the same time laughable situation is that he got a show case notice from his party and not FIR from the police.

I am proud of the guy for refusing to give his seat, even though he got assaulted.

Also, this reminded of video where Aussie homeowner tells Australia's PM to get off his lawn, and PM heeds him: https://youtu.be/t17O2AKa2FU

Shows the stark contrast between two countries.

Wow, that's quite surprising. I think any PM would have felt offended in that place.
Morrison handled it very maturely despite the fact that he was announcing a scheme for home owners.
If this would have happened in India then his house itself would have been destroyed #bulldozer

At first it looks like brave individual knocking off bunch of journalists and PM from the grass but behind all this bravado I see a married man trying to save his ass.  Grin

Poor guy knows if he won't tell them to get off the grass, he has to do all seeding again and not to mention the nagging from his better half, that too for a whole weekend.

Politicians and their shenanigans never stop. If you start watching then you will not need any reality show to watch in life.

Current bitcoin price saw an uptick and is staying at the greens, hope you are holding onto this ride nicely. Good time to spend some bitcoin to buy gift cards.

Bitrefill is back in stock, I got an email reminder.

And sad thing is, people forget everything when they're being manipulated by the religion and this is what both the national parties use at the time of elections. Smiley

Real problems in our country that need serious attention are Corruption, inflation rate, increasing fuel prices and suicides of farmers, unemployment, and many more but they simply use religious hatred while election campaigning that distracts people from the actual problem for enough period and unfortunately it works every time. Sad

Kuch bhi kaho but we can't deny the fact that this lot is quite successful. Doesn't matter if you are literate or not, all you need a organisational qualities with thick skin and confidence to face a camera. You win one election and you are set for life, even retarded MLA gets a lifetime pension and benefits. If S/he manages to complete 1 or 2 terms then everything doubles as far as wealth, influence etc are concerned.

I agree fully, one class 8 fail person can earn so much with the gundagiri and then their next three generations at least will be living like millionaires while common people live their days in misery.

All from our hard earned money though tax which is actually supposed to be used to fund government schemes for the needy and develop the country.

But this is no clear solution to this so we have to keep going through it.

There is no scale to how much money they can loot, if it's bigger constituency they got more chance but on average it will be at least a hundred crores minimum from commissions of the projects alone which is why we see everything is worse when it's from government because almost everyone takes certain amount and leaves not even half of the amount that is supposed to spend on it.

But it is just a norm, if MLA or MP is taking commission then it's not a surprise at all and almost everyone in this country knows that but no one can act on it. Democracy is the biggest joke of this century. Smiley

recenty read a news that PWD engineer got caught in some shady deals and when authority went deep, they found out he had built his wealth close to 500 cr with  properties in overseas mainly in thailand, london. India mein na jane kitni property family ke naam par le rakhi thi.

If small time engineer in government department can accumulate such wealth by corruption. Then one can imagine the scale of MPs reach.

Property ke rates inhi logo ki wajah se bad rahe hai lol

Exactly. These corrupt people are the reason why middle class people face a really hard time to buy their dream homes.
They are inflating flat/land prices very much and have made it near impossible for us to buy a property.
The irony is, we are forced to pay tax which is used by these corrupt politicians to fund their gundagiri.
Then we have to face their gundaraaj and in some cases pay more money to them settle the cases with them.

Don't know what's the status of properties in south and north east but in North only viable solution is to buy land in hill station and it's for only retirement purposes.

If you have nuclear family then Delhi-NCR is out of reach for lower-middle middle class, 1 crore se neeche koi baat hi nhi karta and jeez if you look at price tag of DLF Camellias etc then you will instantly go into depression.

No wonder thousands of middle class folks exploring golden visas etc.

1 crore toh builder log aese bolte hai jaise raste pe chane bech rahe hai upar se "only" laga dete hai last me jese chawanni hai.

I have been researching for a property in Maharashtra and the same thing is happening here. Everywhere I go they start with 1 cr only.
To pay back an 80% loan on that amount i.e. 80 lakhs, it will take more than 20 years and by then we will be old.
The only way to beat this is by earning more and that is where many middle class people lack.
They are trapped in the rat race and are falling for the debt trap and are unable to get out of it.

The problem with housing and its price is rising and there is no control over it.

We have to make sure we get a house once in our lifetime and rent it as well. Renting is often a good source of making the money back. But this will be difficult for some most types of work cultured people.

The housing bubble will collapse at one time, but how, I cant say.

Don't know what's the status of properties in south and north east but in North only viable solution is to buy land in hill station and it's for only retirement purposes.

Down south in metro cities we can get 800sq.ft flat starting from 80 lakhs but if it's in a premium location thrn sky is the limit, I even saw a price tag of 5cr for a 3BHK flat in the middle of the city and yeah it's around 10 years old one so who knows how much the cost will be for a villa. It's overdue but the value is holding up because of the black money that is used to buy these real estates whenever it is available for sale and they can easily tackled this from IT by reporting a very low price in the documentation to save the registration charges as well but to utilize all the unaccounted money. I am sure this can be tracked and hunt down but one who are doing it is also in the power to shut them down so it will never happen.

I remember watching India tv conclave early this year or maybe last year. They invited some big shot builders, like from Lodha group/ Hiranandani for a panel discussions.

According to them, on paper every centre government  and state disincentivize affordable housing (regulations, land acquisition etc) and that's a big problem because of this we face inflated price range in the residential sector and builders only focus on luxury segment which mostly caters ultra rich and aspirational class with some money in the pocket.

It generates shitload amount of revenue for every stakeholder so its a status quo and at times, pampered sector. Poor/lower-middle class has no say in it.

At this point of time, I am really angry on people who have the audacity to slap others who don't speak the regional language of state they are in.
While I understand that it's good to know that language and try to speak it but there's no right for anyone to force a language on others.
This is regarding the recent cases from Banagalore and Pune/Mumbai where some people are forcing to speak Kannada and Marathi respectively on others.

The language problem in India or in many other countries will never be solved.

I think the mindset needs to change and learning English and Hindi should be essential second to learning the Vernacular language.

At least Hindi would be enough to converse with everyone for daily needs and English is learnt is even better to converse in.

I get what you are saying but I am from south and I never needed Hindi in my entire life to converse with others either personally or professionally which is why people are against whenever the government is trying to bring Hindi as mandatory to learn. Any language is good to learn and people who needed it will eventually learn and it's not the job of government to decide which one we have to because India is not a country like China, it's something created with extreme diversity that is why we can't really bring one state policy like others.

I have been to other countries where they prefer using their Native language even if they are fluent in English because language is part of the culture too and they embrace it but they will not try to force others to speak in their languages.
