Just by going to gym one will not be able to control their weight. The major contribution comes from the diet. You need to control what you eat. Most of the people do gym and then eat truckloads of fast food and fried chicken. It does not work like that, you will still end up gaining weight.

This is because the body has system to keep its weight always same and prevent a reduction once it has increased.
CICO! That is the name of the game. Diet is basically 80% of weight loss while the remaining 20% could be attributed to working out regularly. Calories In Calories Out basically determines if you will gain weight, maintain it or lose it over any period of time.

Also, working out is not just great for weight loss, but it helps keep your organs and body on the whole fit and active.

^^ speaking of simple tweaks

Shadi ke baad jab puri tarah se joint family mein shift huye toh sabse pehle my better half changed all Commode setup to squatting, not just our but sabka except parents. Sahi wala kalesh hua tha lol but now when i look at this past event, it looks like one of the fine and simple lifestyle change.

Shaadi k baad kalesh na ho toh zindagi ke kya majje. Indian toilet is good for us but as we grow older our knees tend to get weak.
That is where wester commode helps us by easing the pressure on our knees and so both the commodes are equally important.

Most of the Indians used to be farmer like 100 years ago so they just keep working most of their days that just burned them enough colories so the rich carb foods we took was good but now we are all working in airconditioned room and sitting at the desk all day that is drastic difference in physically demanding works yet we used to the same food culture that made our bellies bigger. Cheesy

Gym is good but not necessary for everyone, simple tweaks in the lifestyle can get us in shape, I guess, walking, cycling over using bikes for shorter distances, waking up early, don't skip breakfast, light lunch and finish dinner at least before 7pm.

That is it. That is what we need to know. Our lifestyle impacts a lot on our body. What we eat is what we transform our body into.
Healthy food and a balanced diet is a must depending on what type of work we do.
Most of us have a desk job which requires less calories and our diet should replicate the same so that we don't get obese.

We gone so far with our food culture and have almost accepted food varieties from all parts of the world and even we can see them selling in the street foods itself, might be constant awareness about the health-conscious is necessary now and when they are young, everything will be good but once they past 35 or 40 age then things will starts to show up.

If we visit the hospitals in India, any hospital be it government one or the luxurious private hospitals there is same amount of crowd there as we see on the streed food shops that tells us the story.

Coming back to the TCS Nashik news, I think women need to also see their part in this, they have to keep themselves away from such people, although we dont know how deeply they had been harassed but this is a chilling news indeed.

The peaceful community has now allowed the Intelligence agencies to monitor every individual from that community, working not only in hospitals but also in big companies. Being part of one such MNC, I have seen the community get all the special privileges, but never come across such a disturbing mindset. The worst is the Amravati case. If you have not heard or read about it, you can check the news. 19-year-old arrested for sexually exploiting around 180 minors, recording over 350 videos in Maharashtra
