^^ no matter what, not gonna vote for Congress. Atleast for the next 20 years. It's not a political party anymore but NGO, in one term they'll fuck it up all the positive things happened in the last decade.
Agreed! That party has lost it. They once ruled every state, and after Rajiv, they started losing their dominance. When his son came up as the face of Congress, everyone had high expectations, but with the shit coming out of his mouth, it is now confirmed that he is a deep shit. I was expecting the elder sister to be more realistic and down to earth, but to my unease, I found her to be too woke and deep state-centric. If Congress wants to revive, then they need to remove this family from the top and its supporters and come up with a leader like Shri Narshima Rao, which I think will never happen. BTW.. this is the 100th time Congress lost under the guidance of the so-called Youth Leader.

Priyanka's only quality is that she looks like indira ji, otherwise woh bhi dull hai but haan she knows how to behave when interacting with her counterparts which Rahul lacks. Tbh i don't see any leadership in the Congress, even in 2nd tier. Shashi Tharoor is good and I like him but I don't trust him a bit when State secrets are in stake. Also, he's only famous in English speaking jamat. Sachin pilot had potential but he's sidelined by the first family even in his home state so forget about national leadership.Manish Tewari is good ( I like him because he's nationalist and security hawk) but has no reach at all.

^^ Both brother & sister are dull , you can tell by how they behave in serious policy discussion ..only diffrence is babli stick to written speeches. Coming onto Congress they are not intersted in making 2nd tier leadership & we all know why ..compare that to BJP where they have Yogi , Himanta , Fadnvis & depending on performance suvendu might join this , all are in their early 50s....haven't put Mota bhai's name in it coz i think he will also leave with Modi but Modi isn't leaving till 2034 , 2029 he is definitely winning.

Now it's time to have changes because if both bring new minds and faces, maybe Congress can achieve better results, but if they keep controlling, this could be the end of Congress in just a few coming years. Now change is essential; people don't like this system. Performance, personality, and good governance matter now because people want a better life and security which is not possible with the system that has been run by Congress in the last half century. BJP has some bad things, but still new minds are coming. This is a big success, and they will be able to have success in the coming election as well.

₹.3 hike in petrol and diesel after the long wait especially for the election results, came into effect.
The amount looks nothing, but I remember the days when petrol was selling like 60 rupees about 15 years ago and we will have a few paisa raised once in a while, and look where we are now. This will immediately take a hit on the consumer good products like veggies and groceries since their transportation cost will raise that increases the total cost of the product.

BJP did give support but didn't nurture Yogi, hemanta and suvendu tho. Yogi is not RSS guy either, he's product of Gorakhnath math. Hemanta was Congress and the last guy used to be mamta's right hand man and he only joined BJP because mamta favoured her nephew over him. But overall bjp does good job and they'll do good if they prop up strong guys in all states and not some kind of puppets. Speaking of Fadnavis, iski biwi kaand karwayegi iska kabhi.

Look at the price increase in Petrol and Disel globally. We are still in a safe zone considering the amount of money being earned by the Middle Class. Well, if this increase still pinches anyone's pocket, then I guess it is time for them to shift towards EVs. Fifteen years back, such an increase would have caused the public to come out of their houses and ask the government for a rollback. Inflation is still under 6 percent, but yes, this price increase will hurt us, and it will affect us more if the war restarts, which it will.

Few good things have started in Bengal
1. The Abhaya case has been reopened. 2. The illegal hawkers in Howrah station and Sealdah stations are being destroyed - how on earth did Railway acts not get enacted this long? This needs to happen in every state to clean up the mess they make. 3. Free state bus for women - I dont like this concept but we have to roll with it. 4. TMC party workers are being targeted for their suppressed crimes.
I fear some rebellion from the opposite party indirectly might happen.

I was more surprised to know that there was seperate illegal ecosystem of toll booths. I knew this one but still it's bonker that there was restrictions on live telecast of assembly proceedings. I mean wtf how did she get away with it all these years and virtually no media scrunity from so called speaking truth to power kind of Media channels and journalists. Edit Just saw the ANI's twitter feed. Authorities found tons of fake adhaar cards in TMC's office.

Our government didn't decrease the price of fuel when it went to zero at the time of covid and they didn't increase when the rise due to war because of elecion and now it ended they are back to increasing it. 100 rupees might be a small amount even for the middle class but that 3 ruppe hike will take a hit on the prices of good and many things that will surely affect the cost of living of these middle-class. The price of fuel will likely to increase at least by 10% to match the price of crude oil, though.

Do you want me to teach you the history? If not, then I would suggest that you do a search on Google about the petroleum crisis in India before 2014. I do not remember the year but it was that time of the year when the petrol price was neat about INR 80 to INR 90. There was a timeframe or something like a lockdown when the Petrol bunks/pumps were not open after 8 PM and before 8 AM. The central government at that time came up with a petrol bond worth INR 3kCR at a higher rate, for which the government paid INR 10KCR in 2026. BTW.. Do you even know that in cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore, there was load shedding wherein there would not be electricity for 2 to 3 hours when the current opposition party was in power in the center.

I guess it was under the Manmohan Sing rule, who tackled the crude oil surge by issuing the oil bonds and didn't pass the full burden to the people and since the year 2015 the crude oil price went down but did we enjoy the full benefits? The government kept collecting the excise duty and kept paying the interest for the oil bods that they were issued but if the math is right the government could have paid of 100 times of the actual debt with the collected money in the last 10 years.
