How many of you saw that recent viral social media post, someone who is earing 2 lakh per month can't able to save a single rupee after paying every bills. This looks ridiculous though and poor financial spending is what causing this. I mean the dream of having the oun house is ripping the middle lcass people who even started making more money than before, they need to learn about financial discipline as well to have the concept of saving.
They are just posting it for the views and attention I believe. They exaggerate their spending in those reels.
They pay house rent, they pay EMI, they put money in SIP and all of this they calculate in spending.
Then they say they don't have any money left by the end of the month. If they are putting money in SIP and EMI then what else do they want ?
Mate, these days are honestly boiling my blood.
Yesterday, my mom, who watches a lot of reels in every day suggested that I should start making reels Cheesy.

I asked why? She then showed me a reel of some Vlogger Sourav Joshi who was selling a course on how to make 40-50 cr a month. Then I googled how much these dude makes himself. He earns some 2-3 cr a month, which is massive but this dude is the top vlogger in India (as per google) so how can he tech others to make 10x of the money he himself makes :/

Dude teaches you how to make 50 cr but needs 2k for the course, LMAO.

snip~

After reading the wall of words, one thing just popped into my mind. Can you please quote the source from which you are getting those numbers and information? I was aware that the pay parity would come up when I was quoting the US and China. But you forgot that the cost of living in these countries is higher than in India. Do not forget that the tax they pay on their salary is also very high compared to India. Yes, the standard of living is very high, but it did not happen in just a decade. We are still a developing nation, and we are in a far better position than our neighbours. The increase in prices did not hurt my pocket as of now, and it looks like the same for most people in the country; otherwise, you would have seen rallies on the road. As I said earlier, I am only not happy with the E20 mandate.

That's the case with most of these Indian Youtube Finfluencers out there. Most of them earn a lot from their videos.
They create finance courses and sell them via their channel despite not having a degree or certification for the same.
They promise profits in lakhs and crores but charge 500 - 5000 for their courses.
This shows how pathetic they are. A simple thought that why would anyone sell a course for 5000 which promises profits in lakhs and crores while they can get those profits themselves?
This is should be the trigger for everyone who falls for such course traps.

I only use them on amazon and I rarely buy things on Zepto and other things because I am very close to many supermarkets and even Dmart is within 5 minutes of commute, so just use credit cards and Rupay everywhere. Smiley
Zepto cards I could not find on any of the crypto based marketplaces for gift cards available now. Coinsbee has a page for Zepto but its out of stock and bitrefill does not have them listed yet. Dmart is close from where I live too but there are no giftcards from Dmart, yet.

Selling courses is one of the biggest legally acceptable scams in my opinions that have been running for decades in the country and abroad. With the start of AI mainstream, people have started courses to babysit users through AI like anything. Its so irritating to see these crass content come in the youtube ads.

One of my friend's friend earns 7 lakhs per month yet by the end of the month he says he don't have enough money left.
Damn! I mean 7 lakhs per month is a seriously big amount. As you said, he might be investing big amount in SIPs and spending too much in useless stuff. And yeah, if you are already investing in SIPs then why do you need to save for the future hahaha

Quote
People should not say that they don't have any money left in this case.
Agree, bhai. I think managing money is just as important as earning money. Saw a podcast where a celebrity said they have a manager and she doesn't know where even her money is invested. These Instagram influencers make insane amounts but don't even know how to invest it properly.

This isn't a new concept, this exists for very long time and now it has reached social media before that they used venues to teach this one or two-day lesson by charging a huge amount as a course fee and teaching them some bullshit.

I even remember a comedy scene, how to get rich and there will be a 1000 rupee fee to attend and you know what is the advice they give to the people, just repeat what he said and collect 1000 from everyone by running their own class.

Just saw a news on TOI that someone is claiming to have the NEET papers. If this is true, then Mr Pradhan has to resign from his ministry. BTW.. 19 suicides have already been reported due to the stress of the reexam. I do not understand why parents force their kids so much that they are unable to handle the pressure, and our government's incompetence in conducting such important entrance exams. I hope this news is false and that the exams happen smoothly on 21st without any more issues.

^^ think some teen got arrested regarding this news, he was selling alleged/ fake leak paper for 4k.

Leak or not, Pradhan must be sacked and no need to give him respectful exit with resigning voluntary. Ideally he should've resigned when he fucked up and bend over on NCERT vs court topic.

Sorry, I don't know if this is useful, but Bitrefill has gift cards for Blinkit, Zomato and Swiggy. The price is quite reasonable, I think ~90 INR per 1 USD rate, maybe slightly less. I've been using them for a while and works perfectly fine. They also have Amazon Pay cards, but gets out of stock very fast, and the rate is around 75 or even less.

All my DTH recharges and mobile recharges are done via Bitrefill, and quite a solid site overall. I'm not promoting them though so maybe try with a small amount if you are new there.

Another alternative (I sometimes use it when Bitrefill is out of stock) is cryptorefills.

I have been using them for BB, Zomato, Swiggy. Zepto cards are not available on bitrefill and Coinsbee shows them as out of stock. I was trying to convey that Dmart does not have its own cards on any website that supports crypto yet.

It is one of the methods by which one can spend their bitcoin to buy daily needs and groceries and even fashion products, even jewellery, bitrefill does have a good inventory of products, but I would like to see more merchants on that site in future.

I had heard of bitrefill but never used it before. Is it genuinely good ?
I just checked the site and I see that there are lots of options to choose from, that's impressive.
The conversion rate is a bit on the higher end though, I checked phonpe refill, flipkart and vijay sales where the conversion rate was inbetween 114 - 118 rupees for $1.

It is like 10% over the market price, which is the usual rate, and if anyone noticed this or not even in p2p the traders are offering 105 INR for 1 USD for a while, since the rupee is crashing hard and the government has no way to stop it from happening. And it can even reach 110 or worse.

Where are you getting those rates from ? The foreign exchange price for USD INR is 94.5 INR.
P2P rates on binance and local P2P rates are around 105 rupees which is around 10% on live price.
On bitrefill the price is around 115 rupees which is around 20% on live price.
I understand prices can be premium but 20% is on the higher side.

I have not heard about Bitrefill so far but will surely give it a try. I am always looking for platforms where I can use cryptos for my utilities. Usually purchasing gift cards for Zepto is one of my primary purchasing point. I like to allocate a budget at the start of a month and I would straight away purchase GC's within the budget. I usually use xoxoday as I used to get some credits from my office which I can spend on Zepto, Zomato, Swiggy, etc. For first, I started using xoxo only because my office made me do so but later, I got used to it.

One platform to do all these plus, including cryptos is a big plus point for users like me. I hope it is fine for our government to spend cryptos on utilities like recharges, gift cards, etc.

Check Noones: https://noones.global

Most of the traders with thousands of feedbacks are offering like 10% higher rate than the market price for USDT. And it is because the rupee is falling, maybe the official number is 95 but it is about to fall real soon that is why we are getting this price range which feels premium while buying.
