In grocery list, our main procurement are pulses, rice, cooking oil and we do bulk shopping as I live in joint family. Didn't felt much pinch on pocket in regards to first 2 products but cooking oil did and think price will keep fluctuating because we are import depented and also add new ethanol policy not just in India but in our main import source countries as well.

Self sufficient in dairy, eggs and semi self sufficient in meat as we have few livestock and also do farming in small scale but can say that with 100% guarantee that it is because feed costs are skyrocketing for various reasons. Seafood prices are okay tho and in some cases went down.

Yeah, recent announcement from HUL does indicate that.

A lot of money is going into the government's funds. Everything is costly because of the governments use of funds to give out free stuff here and there for their vote bank to remain active.

Sadly there is no solution to this problem right away.

However I am very happy to see someone handling the bad quality of food from restaurants in the country. It was about time someone start doing something about it because FSSAI would not bat an eye previously once bribes are in place.

Food Pharmer youtube channel is a good source of information too, after all most of the chronic illnesses are coming from the type of food we eat and the type of lifestyle we lead.

Dont need to buy his products, youtubers will have their own methods to make money, after awareness of a problem the next question that comes to the audience mind is the solution and he came up with this whey protein product which every other fitness influencer has been doing.

Just keep that aside and observe the stuff that is needed, like calling out misleading brands and what type of food you should include or exclude form your diet to keep it as healthy as possible.

Quality wise i didn't find anything wrong in it. It's just they messed up basic thing, which is "powder making lumps" and to be fair to him, customer care was helpful and promised me to send new product or refund the amount and i opted for later.

Will, check it out again in month or so just to confirm, if it was just batch issue or regular thing.

Additionally, it's important to understand macroeconomics and microeconomics, which, I must inform you, are not calculated based on "baniya ka dukan analysis." If you're not aware of this, please look into how GDP affects us. However, I still believe that GDP does not provide a clear picture of where the economy is headed. I think it is more about the purchasing power index. Do some research, and you will see how your analysis might be incorrect.

Imo don't think on inflation any criticism is valid, this gov is inflation and capax hawk and it does show on data. In last decade the average inflation is 4.5-5%, in comparison 2004-14 numbers are averaging 8-ish% and sometimes even touching double digits. Even opposition keep mum on serious inflation discussion.

I think he's saying it because an average of 7% annual inflation hits the economy and when it comes to actual inflation of products we can add 2% - 3% more to it.
So in general there's a 10% inflation on certain products in India.

I have worked on my skills, and now it is more than one lakh per month. I am active here to show my vibe coding skills, which I have learnt within a span of 1 year. I am making another small $40 now by being in the signature campaign. Making money in India is no longer an issue if someone is skilled. The problem is somewhere else, which the opposition does not discusses.

For Example:
1. The real estate price bubble
2. The shortage of innovation in tech.
3. The infrastructure scam.
4. The SC/ST law and their reservation.

and their are more. Let us have a discussion on those issues which are relevant in 2026 and the years coming up.

India is complicated, but I can assure you it has changed a lot. Since you are saying people are feeling the pressure, I will tell a real event that happened to me. I recently booked a gig worker to clean my bathroom from Urban Company. One of my friends recommended it, as they do their job perfectly. He came he did his job quite well, and took 1600 from me. I asked him how many appointments he gets daily, and he told me 5 to 6 approximately. Just imagine the demand and what he is earning every month. For sure, he is not from an urban area, but he is making a decent amount every month to support his family in the village.

If you want to see how much India has changed. Ask these gig workers, and you will know how much they are earning and why they are in this job.

BTW.. If you are from the south of India, you will know how much money and how much luxury can be achieved for anyone from poor to lower middle class. I can say the same for NCR & surroundings.

You are talking about the individual level, and I am talking about the average number. You said lot of Bihari coming to work in construction, but have you ever asked them about their daily wage? Locals are demanding around 1300 in the southern region that is why people from North India are coming here and are working for 600 or 700 for masons, and for helpers it is still in 400 range.

And my native is rural part of the South, where people from Bihar have also started taking jobs in the agri field because they are accepting lower pay.

IT field grown in the 21st century but not everyone is working in IT field that is what I am trying to say.

Don't you think that's a little too much regarding the rent growth that you have mentioned ? 4k to 50k in 10 years ?
It's hard to digest. I understand it growing from 4k to 20k-25k in 10 years but anything above that will be too much.
Even 20k is on the higher edge because rent grows only 10% per annum in many cases and with that calculation it should be around 10k in 10 years.
Despite that I have still mentioned 20k considering the benefit of location. What do you think ?
