Just to show off and take a selfie with it, and to claim they have better device with apple compared to an Android. But those statements are invalid now because we have even better camera phones from Android in the last 3 or 4 years with better specs and designs and the only thing they are still holding is with their video clarty. And it is mostly due to the optimized software rather than a better device.
The show-off era is over. As of now, the new mantra is security and updates. I have seen a 2007-era iPhone still working without any issues. That is what the price provides. Android has got an issue that it will only work for approximately 5 to 6 years without any issues. The camera is the best on iPhone, hands down, but only a handful of us will use the camera for that kind of quality. Apple ecosystem is another benefit that you can avail of if you are using an iPhone. But, due to cost and everything being chargeable, it stops Indian to be part of it. There are many benefits, but the problem is the cost which is why Indian's avoid iPhone.
I'm not trying to counter you but I feel like this is just a perception that's being sold. My brother has an iPhone too and he has to put the phone next to his ear to even hear the sound on call. Now, one may argue that he is an exception and everything depends on how you use the mobile phone, but then that's true for Android too. I still have a Samsung J7 purchased about a decade ago that works fine, and my father uses it, in fact.
I can't find a single person who can justify the price of iPhones purely based on the utility. It's either purchased by those who earn a lot and don't care, or those who try to fake a lifestyle that they borrowed from the society.
