Galatasaray are going to play a home game against Genclerbirligi tomorrow evening. Galatasaray are the 5th with 30 points and Genclerbirligi are the 16th with 19 points. Galatasaray couldn't get a win on their last 2 matches (1D 1L). Genclerbirligi got 2 wins and 1 draw on their last 3 matches. On the last 5 head-to-head matches, Galatasaray overwhelmed Genclerbirligi (3W 1D 1L). Galatasaray got these wins on home matches. I think Galatasaray have a big advantage here and will win this.

Fenerbahçe won a very important victory today. showed that they are ambitious on the road to the championship. If mesut özil transfer takes place, they will be champions.

I don't think one player change whole league, especially when the season is 40 games long.
There are too much uncertainties, ups and downs, injury and sickness risks etc. You can't rely on one player.

Surely Fenerbahçe is one of the contenders but I don't see their chance is as big as Beşiktaş and Galatasaray. Possible Mesut Özil transfer wouldn't change this fact.

Well, record has it that Ozil is 3 players in 1 with his vision, creativity and guile passing range which he will be adding to the Fenerbahçe team;  Also recruiting the likes of Sokratis will boost their defense line and bring in new entries to give confidence boost to the squad.

Gaziantep are one of the surprise teams this season. They have lost only one time in the league so far. They are at the 3rd place with 31 points. They haven't lost for a very long time. Their next match is going to be against Sivasspor away tomorrow. Sivasspor haven't got a win for 3 matches. They are very bad on home games too (1 win in 8 games). I expect a Gaziantep win.

Galatasaray beat Genclerbirligi so easily (6-0). After drawing with Antalyaspor and losing to Konyaspor, Galatasaray were really hungry for the win. They demolished Genclerbirligi here and they must be very happy about the result. Especially Belhanda and A. Turan were really good. Belhanda made a hat-trick and A. Turan got 2 assists. They are the 2nd in the league now.

it was a predictable result because Galatasaray lost the last game to Konyaspor and this victory was necessary to keep the pace with Besiktas which tomorrow has a tough game with 6th place Hatayspor and can lose points.

Basaksehir won a game a few days ago after getting bad results for 7 weeks. They are going to play against Ankaragucu today. Ankaragucu are at the 19th position now. Basaksehir won all of their last 4 games against them. I think they will win again this time too.

I think Besiktas will lose points this time. They have been winning in the league for 5 matches and it is a very nice performance. But Hatayspor are a team that play strong in home matches. This game will probably end in a draw.

I have to say I do not remember the last time we had 3 big clubs of Turkey fighting for a title all together. We had big clubs finishing horrible last year, like really horrible, 2017-2018 is the latest when GS and FB fought for a title, and there was basaksehir everywhere all the time for the past 5 years or so at least, maybe more.

Finally this year they are far away and not good at all, while big clubs are doing awesome and making a great run for a title. As long as they keep this up and continue this way, I am sure all these three teams will have a chance, we can't say this will win or that will win because they are all great right now. If fenerbahce somehow gets Ozil and he plays the way he used to play, we are going to see Fener probably getting a bigger chance, playing a bit better because he is a world class level player and definitely would impact the results.

I think many people thought that Besiktas will lose points today and it happened as expected. I enjoyed watching the first half. Besiktas scored the first goal. Hatayspor turned the game around and brought the score to 2-1. Their one goal was cancelled by VAR too. Besiktas managed to equalize the score in the last minutes of the first half. And the match ended with this score.

I don't think Beşiktaş lose 2 points but won 1 point from this tough away game. Hatayspor is one of the great teams in the league based on recent forms. Beşiktaş had 5 game winning streak and it was expected to end at some point. Next game is the big derby against Galatasaray, it is more important to win that game because Galatasaray is another contender. Beşiktaş is still the leader and that gives them a big confidence before that derby game.

Normally that is the case obviously, teams who are leading the league will win against the bottom of the league teams, but at the end day there are days when just the reverse happens. For example, Liverpool went undefeated for a veeeeery long time last year, obviously ended up losing few but do you know who beat them after 20+ or so games? It was watford, team that relegated to championship this year. So, it was never guaranteed.

However fenerbahce plays a great football this year, probably the best they have played in years and they look like they are very hungry for a championship and will do anything in their power to get it. Players are fired up about it, manager is fired up about it, and as we all know the president is very fired up about it as well. If they end up winning the league, it wouldn't be a surprise, but other teams are playing decent as well.

I don't how it happened but Alanyaspor lost to Kasimpasa even though Kasimpasa played 65 minutes with 10 players. I look at the statistics and see a huge Alanyaspor dominance. Kasimpasa got a red card three minutes after getting 1-0 ahead. But they scored the second one too. Alanyaspor tried very hard but they could only manage to reduce the goal difference to 1 and lost 2-1.

Today there were 2 games and first one was played by Erzurumspor and Fenerbahçe. It's Monday but we saw an early game because Erzurum is one of the coldest cities in Turkey. They had to play before the sun goes down. Fenerbahçe got an easy victory as expected, Erzurumspor is at the bottom and that has a reason. They don't play well at all. I'm pretty sure they will be relegated this season.

Alanyaspor lost again, despite Kasımpaşa played with 10 players for 65 minutes long. Alanyaspor is in 5th place now, their top standing days are over.

Galatasaray in third place they have 33 points. Gaziantep have lost the fewest matches this season. They have lost just two matches. Their point is 31. So, each of these four teams has a chance to win the title this season. The team that can maintain the continuity of their performance will be the champion.
