Antalyaspor are going to play an away game against Genclerbirligi tomorrow. Antalyaspor are the 10th with 26 points and Genclerbirligi are the 18th with 19 points. Genclerbirligi have been losing for 4 games. Antalyaspor got 2 wins in their last 5 games (2W 3D) in the league. In the last 5 (official) head-to-head games, Antalyaspor won twice, Genclerbirligi won once and the rest of the games ended in a draw. At Antalyaspor, Mert Yılmaz, Ufuk Akyol, Dogukan Sinik (1 goal) and Lukas Podolski (3 goals) are injured. I think this could be an opportunity for Genclerbirligi to get at least one point but their job will be hard.

Fenerbahçe found goal just before half time. Enner Valencia's free kick hit the post and then goalkeepers back. It was very unlucky moment for Çaykur Rizespor goalkeeper Gökhan Akkan.
Overall the match is not exciting, Fenerbahçe has the ball and try to create chances but so far we saw only a few actions from both teams. We'll see if this goal change anything about their gameplay. Çaykur Rizespor may go on like this and try to find goal from corners, free kicks or counter attacks. Fenerbahçe need to score second goal if they don't want any surprise results.

Galatasaray won their game against Gaziantep 2-1 and Fenerbahce will also be winning if we don't see any surprise. The Besiktas-Trabzonspor game tomorrow will be very important. If Besiktas lose points, it will be very beneficial for Fenerbahce and Galatasaray.

Fenerbahce and Besiktas are far ahead of Galatasaray. Fenerbahce has 45 points from 21 matches and Besiktas has 44 points from 20 matches. Both teams are in great form. I don’t think Galatsaray will rise to the top of the points table leaving them behind.

Don't expect much from Başakşehir. They won't be a contender again. They are a regular mid class team, nothing more.
Aykut Kocaman is not my type of coach. I have doubts about him and Başakşehir's last years game play, looks like a bad chemistry to me.

Yes, it must be embarrasing for Basaksehir losing 5-1 home to Hatayspor. Of course I know that Hatayspor are doing marvelous things even so they've just promoted to the Turkish Super League. But a champion team like Basaksehir shouldn't be this bad. We will see what A. Kocaman will do from now on.

The match between Besiktas vs Trabzonspor will be held after 1 hour. They need to win this match to stay at the top position of the points table. The Besiktas have won just one of their last five matches against Trabzonspor, drawing two and losing the other two. Its seems today's match will be very exciting and competitive

Alanyaspor beat Sivasspor today and climbed up to 4th spot. The match was delayed after Yesterday's bad pitch conditions. The pitch was full of mud.
Antalyaspor beat Gençlerbirliği and Ankara side stayed in relegation zone.
Denizlispor is at the bottom but they got 3 points from Göztepe today. Bottom line is a war zone, every team have a chance to stay in the league.

Does anyone know how basaksehir, the latest champions suddenly became this bad? I mean they even fired the head coach from what I learned, is that even reasonable to do just because team is doing bad, he managed to win a title for this team for the first time ever and when I search for the name there is no team like this in any previous league table except for the like past 10 years or so I think, it must have been named something else.

I think it is obvious that the top three is the best three but basaksehir wasn't this bad, I checked transfers and not like they lost too many players neither, they got very good players, no idea why suddenly they are horrible. I suppose any team could have a bad streak, hell even Liverpool had a huge winless streak just recently, but this teams situation looks a lot worse and a lot more long term as well for some reason.

The second half of Besiktas-Trabzonspor game is underway now. Besiktas got ahead with the goal of Aboubakar in the first half but Trabzonspor managed to score the equalizer just before it ends. It was an unlucky own goal for Besiktas. I think Besiktas will be the winner and they will maintain their win streak and unbeaten streak both.

We don't talk about referee much, only the quality of football would be in discussion. Today we are watching something like that again. At first half we saw 2 goals from both teams. Aboubakar scored again and make it 12 this season. Trabzonspor found goal with less efforts, Montero give away a free goal to them.

I believe in second half we see more goals and Beşiktaş is the closer side to win the game but it could go both ways.

Fenerbahce didn't get any loss (4W 1D) and Hatayspor lost only once (2W 2D 1L) in the last 5 games in the league. Fenerbahce are better in away games (7W 2D 1L) compared to home ones. These two teams played against each other once which was in last year and it ended 0-0. At Fenerbahce, Marcel Tisserand (1 goal), Sadik Ciftpinar, Ferdi Kadioglu (1 goal), Sinan Gumus (2 goals) and Diego Perotti (3 goals) are injured. Hatayspor are a hard team to beat them away. They drew with Besiktas 2-2. I think we could see a draw in this game too.

I think most people including me were waiting for Besiktas to win the game. But Trabzonspor really shocked me by getting a win in this. Both teams got a nice performance in the second half but I wouldn't expect Besiktas to lose this derby-ish home game. The competition is fired up and Fenerbahce have become the new leader.

It looks like the first three teams in the table won't lose their place to a different team that is below. The closest team to this trio is Alanyaspor and they are 5 points away from Galatasaray. I hope the competition for the championship goes on only among Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray. It is hard to predict who will make it but at least we will see a real competition among the biggest clubs of this league.

This week will be one of the unexpected weeks I can call it, the top three teams rarely lose points and I get that Besiktas lost to Trabzon but it was definitely one that people would have expected, and Fenerbahce definitely had the best team, now they are at the top as the expected BUT this week will be different.

We are talking about 2 day difference between games and add road trip to that as well and we are not going to really have any time to relax by any team. Fenerbahce playing hatayspor who are the 7th team in the league, galatasaray playing the last champions even though basaksehir is 15h in the league right now. I think it is going to be not that difficult however I feel like if any surprises would happen, it will definitely be these games.
