I am happy to see that Mesut Ozil started playing. He played for 13 minutes but it is his first appearance in the end. Boupendza is one of the awesome players of this season. He played in 20 matches so far and scored 16 goals. He is like unstoppable. I am also curious how a team haven't made an offer for him. But if he goes like this all of the season, then I have no doubt that he will get offers from different clubs.

I think its lower level teams wanting a lot of money for their players that is the main problem. Also not every goal leader in the league at lower level teams becomes as great in bigger teams, many players who challenged for top scorer of the season at lower level teams that went to big clubs failed to be as good, for some reason playing at Hatay type of teams makes it easier to score whereas at teams like Fenerbahce or Galatasaray is harder, main reason I assume is that when you playing for Hatay other teams do not play 10 man defense, but when you are playing for big clubs everyone suddenly starts playing defense with everyone and that makes bigger clubs to score.

So, combine expense and also not having any big club experience, that makes a player not really wanted too much, specially during transfer window at mid break. Maybe at the end of the season there could be some more interest.

If Besiktas win their match against Antalyaspor today, Galatasaray will go down to the 3rd place and the point difference between Alanyaspor and the closest team that is one place up will be 7 points. If Trabzonspor also win tomorrow, they will leave Alanyaspor behind with 39 points and take the 4th place.

Antalyaspor played full defense and got an important 1 point against Beşiktaş. They didn't lose a game since Hatayspor disaster in the last matchday of 2020.
Beşiktaş tried so hard but couldn't find second goal and they missed a big chance to be the leader at weekend again. Aboubakar and Larin have bad forms lately despite they are trying they couldn't find goal from clear positions.

I can't wait to watch the derby, I mean the first one wasn't that shocking and it was a bit boring and I think it was a tie right? Plus there was so many players missing that game from both teams and on top of that there are so many new great transfers both teams made that will be ready for the game I think, if it was just a week or two later it could have been even better, Onyekuru looks ready and started firing from first two games but GS still missing Fernandes I think, whereas Fenerbahce is missing Irfan and Mesut for now, will probably be ready to play a bit those games but it would still be better if they just played a week or two later when all these players were more ready.

In any case, this is going to be one of the most fun games out there in the league this season, plus it will also make the difference either zero points or 6 points (or keep it at 3) and that is really a big difference even though the league is quite early on right now.

Trabzonspor will definitely get this one for sure, there is no doubt in my mind that they would end up with a loss this game. Plus Trabzon has been in a great great form lately, only have 1 tie and have 4 wins in the last 5 games, they weren't even remotely close to these levels at the start but by the end of first half and start of this second half they became so good that I think 4th spot by the end of the year is not impossible and it could potentially happen.

I have missed the four big teams playing like the four big teams, for the past few years everyone was playing like crazy, finally we are seeing the greats playing greatly. However I can't wait for Saturday, that is going to be something different and it will definitely be one of the most anticipated game in a long time in turkish football, I do not remember the last time a game was this important.

Trabzonspor played very dominantly just as I expected and got a deserved win. But it is interesting that they got 25 shots and just 5 of them were on goal. They could have won this game with a bigger score than 1-0.

Today there is no game in Super League but tomorrow we will see Fenerbahçe - Galatasaray derby. It's a very important game as these teams share first 2 spots. I believe we will see a tough game and there is a possibility that we see red card(s) and penalty. Tomorrow I'll analyze this game again when we see starting elevens. It's important to know who will play and who sit in bench before making any bets.
