Finally, such a huge and popular company like PayPal begins to expand in full in the cryptocurrency field, and therefore I think thats why yesterday the growth of cryptocurrencies began sharply, well, now the entire PayPal customer base will be able to use cryptocurrencies and this is of course an incredible achievement for the cryptocurrency industry, and I myself use sometimes PayPal and I will be happy to check all the features of the PayPal services that they provide for cryptocurrencies.

The bull trend already began. BTC price above 13k and it looks like it will cross 14k too. But we should not only think about the price. No matter its bull or bear right now we should be happy by thinking that adoption for the cryptocurrency is beginning. Now people will be able to buy and sell their goods with cryptocurrency. That will force Govt to focus more on developments for blockchain technology.

i guess this will be the talk of the week in all crypto community, so much so that the price of btc touched a new ATH at the wee hours of the morning, personally i am not against PayPal acceptance of btc and other alts in their platform, i don't just like the way and manner in which they choose to provide such service, preventing users not to be able to withdraw is not right,
like i said in my earlier post, this will depend on individual preference, personally, i won't use PayPal service i will rather use other means (which we have several options available) to buy and store my btc.

Because of this news, the Crypto world is getting more and more excited the prospects are getting clearer. The response given by the market is very good and makes everyone excited about the Bull trend in the crypto world

but as far as I can tell, in this year paypal will only be making this service available to US residents or maybe I got it wrong? and it will have the issue of tax payments and also from what I realized, paypal will not allow people to withdraw funds from cryptocurrencies to the bank. it is not yet clear to me how all of this will work but from the information I have read so far I think people are getting excited too soon without first seeing the real benefits of this news, many people have already started speculating the price of cryptocurrencies even before the service is operational and then if the service is not going to keep up with the high expectations we will start to see a big price dump

It's not only the governments as parties who have been seeing crypto as the future for the financial system but paypal sees it as the next opportunity to get more and more users.

there is still a regulatory barrier and high volatility, people will be converting bitcoin into a fiat and it is very different from buying things with bitcoin without any conversion and we are still far from one day being using bitcoin as a means of payment worldwide and without restrictions and without needing to convert to FIAT

100k will become a real thing in the future. I can't wait for that to happen.

Yes this is the best news I heard this morning. As a paypal user several years ago I was very happy to hear about it. To be sure, I will try to use BTC first to make merchant payments and this is the beginning of a good partnership.

I've seen the news not quite sure if it's only for US citizens or not? According to the twitter a user would be able to pay cryptocurrency to merchants well it's a good news since paypal took its first step to crypto industry.

Now, this is a great feature by PayPal that is offering crypto buying selling, and holding. But, the main thing is that it is opted for every country or excluded the service for some countries. Countries like India maybe it is offering only the holding of BTC, ETH, and Ripple because these are prominent and quite less volatile.

Great news this really pump the price of bitcoin and litecoin as PayPal announce it yesterday, but the question is how long can they able to use the coin, because the main concern will be the price for example if a customer has 500 USD worth of bitcoin, on the next day its 400 USD, for those cutomers who are new to cryptocurrency they should be ready for something like that and be educate because they might give negative feedback that will make a big setback for crypto.

I was very surprised when I read this news for the first time, finally after great news come out that maybe I could even say this would be a golden period for cryptocurrency. The news is the prime reason for current price hike in the market specially for Bitcoin and Ethereum. Bitcoin broke the 13K barrier after quite a time while Ethereum's rise has been more significant in last 24 hours though they are much less than they were a week ago.
The news itself is a good one as Paypal being arguably the largest online payment system, would bring a lot of new customers to crypto and they'll open a new market. Paypal used to ban merchants for using crypto payments and often reversed the transaction on dispute involving crypto. Now it would be another challenge for them to track all the disputes arising from crypto trading.

I could say that it is Yes for me were We are near in the bull season of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin begin to spike it's price in the market.

Positive news for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash has arrived! Finally, one of the most famous payment system PayPal has decided to adopt these cryptocurrencies starting from the beginning of next year. Honestly, I'm a little astonished why this company did not include Ripple which is rated 4th on CoinMarketCap and is accepted by many services as payment.

In any case, I am delighted to hear that BTC and ETH that I hold in my investment portfolio will be more widespread among the huge PayPal community which currently has nearly 350 million users from all over the world.

As far as I understand, PayPal will operate as a cryptocurrency exchange and will enable its customers to buy and sell the mentioned coins, paying fees. This looks like the leap and the stimulus that the market was looking for and it seems like the start of new big bull market but to confirm this btc has to break 14to16k and then 20k range and similarly Eth needs to break above 650 and then 1k to confirm bulls dominancy.

Paypal allows people to buy and sell cryptos but doesn't allow them to withdraw your funds so this is not really the service we should use but the user database may helps the cryptocurrency adoption and this is the reason why the bitcoin acts bullish in the last 24 hours.
