Solana hathor and matic will able to compete with ethereum in network scalability. They have less network for each transaction that be main problem in market. Many traders complain about uniswap fee , and now some of them migrate to other platform . Solana have cheapest network fee if compared with bsc or eth and in near time it will be main platform in crypto market.

I think ADA will be the next Ethereum because it has high potential value. The project is really good. It's co-founder came from Ethereum.

ADA already has a very good market but some investors don't like the development of Cardano. most of the community asks what is the real product of the Cardano project development.
ADA may have a chance but it's still too small for now. in fact the biggest opportunity I believe closer is BNB. I am sure that later there will be parallels between these two assets.

almost all crypto assets must experience volatility. even I think this market did grow out of the way the market works.
interestingly, many investors and traders really like it. than other investment markets.
BNB is an extraordinary asset. but its ability to be on par with ethereum so far is still very far away.
but in the future, there may be a spike in adoption, and BNB's market trading capitalization could increase substantially.

It will be a privacy coin that becomes popular but first we need to get privacy coins back on the exchanges I think we will need to make privacy coins a little less privacy based but not completely transparent like Bitcoin.

I think that although I am almost sure that the next coin after Ethereum will be BNB, it just blew up the market half a year ago, I think it will happen again and this breakthrough should push Ethereum away from its primacy in altcoins, especially since the Binance exchange is doing everything possible for the growth of your coin and capitalization.

litecoin hasn't capability to be next ethreum but it possible for Cardano . and also there are alot new project build their own blokchain to take ethereum market share. Meanwhile binance smart chain growing massively since launched , gas fee be main feature that attract dev team to migrate in this chain and traders give warm welcome to bsc. And now alot project offer they low gas fee but unfortunately ecosystem has growth well.

For now the closest coin to next eth is bnb.  Bnb became the third popular coin after they decided to have their own blockchain.  We know the usage on the binance exchange is the biggest.  so they can easily get their customers.  It is proven by many ico projects that use the binance platform.

ethereum will never be able to replace it because I see that ethereum's potential is still very good, even though ethereum has a very large supply and is difficult to increase, but it will slowly rise when world economic conditions recover.

I don't think so. There are many other altcoins competing with ethereum right now, but I don't think any of them can compete with ethereum. binance for example, since last year trying to compete with ethereum but I see binance is still not ready to compete even though the platform has been widely used in project development. Simply put, ethereum is an altcoin that is still in high demand and the platform is constantly being developed.

I think it is hard to say that to there is some altcoin becoming the next ethereum, although it is possible but in my thoughts i have some several tokens would be the next ethereum. In terms of volume, i think xrp ripple. But in some top altcoins, possibly EOS, ADA and BNB could possibly follow the trace of ethereum coin. We wouldn't know but there is also possibility of some not popular altcoin could rise someday and be like ethereum.

BNB easily gets exposure from their service, and may people already trusted them as a platform, that's why their exchange is also big and seeing other similar coins i think BNB could easily be the most potential coin for replacing ETH, because their BSC also so popular among many new projects even before many people already switched to BSC because ETH gas was too high, and I think it's fair to say that oly BNB have the potential.

I will say no coin, just as no coin will become the next Bitcoin, the reason is simple, every coin in this space have their unique features, attributes and use case, and thus they keep working in line with that. Ethereum is the first altcoin with its own blockchain, and a lot of all these other blockchains are still taking a leaf from the Ethereum blockchain, the question is why? But the answer is simple too, you can only copy from someone who is better and know what he is doing, thus they know Ethereum is better; now why comparing any other to it when they already copied from it.
Another one to Look at is Binance, till date their launchpad is still the best, at least a good return is expected when investors participate in it, but for others, can same be said about them?
Therefore, I will still maintain my stand that no other altcoin or blockchain is better than that of Ethereum neither will there be another or next Ethereum, moreover Ethereum team are always working, the London hard fork is done, ETH 2.0 on the way. When you also talk about DeFi, how many are on the Ethereum blockchain and why are they still there? Because they know that what they want is already on Ethereum.

I am agreed with what your opinion, i keep an eye on cardano and BNB especially, i see huge amount of holders on that two candidates, i hope it will blow this year when we see Bitcoin at $100k level.

Since the birth of ETH and the breakout of altcoins. There have been countless predictions that there will be a toppling it like ADA, EOS,TRX, DOT, BNB... but the results show that it is just a vague guess as ETH still shows efficiency and improvements attached. ETH 2.0 has arrived, only the sharding combo is delayed until 2022. BNB is showing a major breakout recently, but it won't be able to topple ETH, at least for the foreseeable future. That will never happen. ETH will remain the steel wall for the altcoin world

Ada is a good coin for some but I don't think that it's going to be the next Ethereum but yeah, it's a maybe. There are those other projects that have smart contract and it's going to be hard to distinguish if they really are going to be as good as Ethereum.
The growing market is giving us opportunity to support most of the projects that we want to hold.

Isn't this an endless open race because everything is open source? When you say that Polkadot replaces Ethereum, maybe Ethereum re-replaces Polkadot later on? What if Ethereum acknowledges that Polkadot developed a certain superior technology and hence just adopts it if possible and the tech is agnostic? There won't be a next Ethereum the same way there won't be a next Bitcoin. There also won't be a next Bill Gates.

A car also isn't called a next horse only because it replaced the horse. Those guys probably asked the same smart questions as you do here. What will be the next horse?
