And I also have few people I have taught on how to invest in altcoins and to know when to invest and when not to invest. Good way to invest is to look for new projects, and conduct a check and invest the amount you can.

You case is different and that is because you have the patience and time to seek for knowledge, which many newbies don't have. They just invest in any project without doing research and hope it turns out profitable.
I prefer to trade than invest but when I want to invest, I invest only on binance IEO or launchpad.

I agree with you, basically bitcoin is the parent of altcoins, but it is possible because with the reformers in the last few years bitcoin has felt a little displaced by project defi which has almost 40% become a trend in the crypto market.
then we also don't forget that the top 10 on the coinmarketcap list signifies the role altcoins are taken into account in any market.

Such tendency is not going to last and bitcoin will once again impose itself as it always does, people get too excited about those DeFi coins and in a way I get it but like always scammers have began to take advantage of the hype and now are scamming people left and right and if this continues, and I do not see why it should not continue, then slowly people will begin to lose faith in those projects even the good ones and they will either get off the market for good or they will invest their money back in bitcoin.

The thing is that you cannot take away the place of research while investing in cryptocurrency. but it is only a few newbies that gets it. Most of them just see cryptocurrency as a get rich quick scheme, that you just invest in a get rich over night. it is better to invest in existing coins that are more secured than to invest in new coins that are not sure.

Don't let yourself invest in new coins that have no assurance that they will lasts longer in the market or might only end up as dead altcoins. Instead, go for the best investment that even skilled investors are up to and that is bitcoin. I know bitcoin is a very risky investment but atleast you know in the long run that you will make huge profits from it once its price reaches its peak.

Bitcoin is an altcoin price benchmark, just like Usd which is a benchmark for other banknotes. If you really want to invest, invest in altcoins that have strong stability because then, the risk of losing will be small.

It is true, the number of new altcoin projects caused me difficulties and doubts when I wanted to do research(although it looks like a good project and seems worth holding). and yes, choosing bitcoin as an investment in the crypto space seems like the best. but here there is no guarantee (crypto investment), be it for a newbie or an expert, because we ourselves have to protect and guarantee it.

Due to a more altcoin rises this year, the confusion for the member of community in the crypto currency been grown. As what i have also observed that the price of bitcoin really matters in all altcoins. The movement of price of bitcoin does affect also the price movement of altcoins. When i was a newbie i thought that altcoin was last on my priority when in comes of investment. Of course i would rather be sure to invest in bitcoin but later on i have observed that there are some altcoins that was worth it to invest with like Ethereum, Binance and XRP.

Back when I was a newbie in altcoin investment I would only choose the altcoin that are on the top 10.
I wouldn't go with the altcoin that doesn't belong in the top 10 since they are on the top 10 for a reason and I would try to look into their details before investing.
The problem with newbie's this days are they would easily jump into new project because of the promise of profit by others that the new altcoin price would go up.
They are gullible they could easily be scam by those promises and be blinded by greed.

most of begineer investors tempted by another trader that already earn profit from trading, they thinking its look easy to do meanwhile risk that may occur not calculate yet. holding altcoin need deep research, we must understand its behaviour if compared to bitcoin price movement. although we know its coin was good project , but finding best entry position was obligation for us.

It can be confusing if we see coinmarketcap coin list before we want to buy some coins because coinmarketcap has listed many coins there.
I recommend us to see the announcement section in this forum, so we can see new coins and tokens on new projects.
Altcoin investment have more risk than bitcoin because the value of altcoin is not stable as bitcoin, particularly on new altcoins.

Sometimes the volatility of altcoins is very large and this scares many novice investors. It seems to me that it is for staking that you need to look for an altcoin with minimal volatility!

This is actually what is happening even before in the year 2017-2018. Most alternate Cryptocurrencies had their values boosted by Bitcoin but really shown their true values after Bitcoin's values stabilizes. Its still a risk but its worth it since most Alternate Cryptocurrencies have low values and you can learn how to play with that investment.

When you have something like ETH that was over 400 dollars just a few months ago and ever since going down it couldn't recover for one reason or another while bitcoin made it from 9k to 13k during the same period and on top of all of this reason to see ETH going up soon, we are talking about 2.0 coming in the next 12 months at the very latest? Probably under 6 months?

I think it is vitally important to make sure newbies realize they have to invest into things that are this "guaranteed" (not like anything could be guaranteed in crypto) in crypto investment over things that would make sure you have nothing in the end and scam you. Too many people pass up these great 10-20% even 30 returns in a year because they want to make double or triple the amount they have instead of making sure they get less risk.
