HEY guys today i thinking about steps of crypto from year to year .
let me share with you that what actually i think . when i start mY work with crypto in 2017
that time crypto trend is going named ICO , after that in 2018 to 19 trend is going froward to MASTER NODS
 
AND now in 2020 new hype is NFT AND DEFI

NOW 2021 IS COMING

Blockchain interoperability is something that a lot of projects have been working on. I don't want to mention coins or tokens but you can easily search for them.

Privacy on Ethereum is the next big wave, that's why I invested in $0xMR

This will be the NFT coin or a gaming coin combined with the utility usage for the coin. Im thinking about the next trend will not be so far from the current trend and that means if the next trend will be forming from the defi trend.
You can see how the defi coin was coming from the yearn finance platform which has already offered the same thing that has developed before that.
I think IEO, ICO defi trend will be last forever

Do not forget ICO is hyped for like 2 years before it calmed down.
I think this one will also take longer, despite the bad reputation of ICO before Defi looks like a better option. For now.

It's hyped but not yet there. Just like how ICO made a big name before and investors pouring money in it.

NFT and DeFi project will still exist until 2021, I still expect benefits from NFT and DeFi project for next year. However, I am still waiting for the best for crypto developments in the future.

I think that trend is yet to be found or else it will be already on the trend along with DEFI. If the crypto market goes to be bullish for the upcoming year then Defi will stay in the trend for longer so there will be no need for anything new in the crypto space and also investors may not take many risks when the prices of cryptos are soaring already.

Considering the growth of the crypto space so far, i might not be wrong for saying that the crypto space moves with trends and yes you are right but you didn't add IEO. After ICO trend which failed because of scams etc, IEO and STO tends to take over, but STO failed while IEO remains standing till today. However, even in the midst of IEO, DeFi trend was going on and although it (DeFi) is still on but the hype seems to be reducing, while IEO although still standing as well but there tend to be low attention towards it. Also, asking about the next trend, I would say it is NFT because gradually developers are coming up with ideas. In addition, since IEO is still around even within the hype of Defi, I think Defi and NFT will likely correlate. Nevertheless, the crypto space is always unpredictable, come next year, we might witness another trend which we never thought of.

You can not have any meaningful privacy on ethereum tokens when etehreum is public.  Cash will be a crypto trend every single year. Digital cash can only be on a opaque ledger cryptocurrency.

Hmm no one can give you the right answer directly you should wait for that year to know what will be the trend.

I think the better way for you to do is to make your self updated always go to announcement thread and check every new project created there . if you found something new check it if you think this can make a new trend  or uf they are preparing to make another hype for one of the project available and make investors win a lot of gain.

I don't quite have an idea but it's an interesting topic but I don't think any of us would have any idea so far since we would only know what will be the next hype once we are currently on it. Interesting what could be the next hype let's just hope it's not just a quick hype like DeFi that's now full of scams.

i think defi & nft hype is not over. this two are carry to 2021 also,this is my prediction. till everyone interested about defi & nft token. i see that Dego nft project which is lots of people coming for buy nft token.but what is next hype material?  right now i have no idea.

2021 Could be the year where countries will be releasing National Digital currency and that wallets and KYC are being linked which is why Privacy/Anon coins will also shoot up as more and more user are going to hide identity while lawmakers are tightening the the laws in crypto and taking control. Many devs are going to invest on old privacy coins. Grin is probably the choice of some of us.

I hope they are projects focused on privacy and decentralized. Because most new projects today have an owner. I find that incredibly bad. I don't understand how anyone invests in a project like Tron, which is a private project with a face that no one in their right mind should believe.

It looks like the DeFi trend is still going on until 2021. But I have more hope for the coming year Massive adoption of crypto. scammers always take the opportunity TREND / HYPE, so be careful to invest, DeFi is currently almost the same as ICO 2017, the difference is that investors are now wiser in choosing projects. I hope there will be more new innovations in the coming year, because I'm getting bored with DeFi.

No one knows because out all of those things in the past havent been predicted or been anticipated by someone for it to happen.Just take for example on ICO days, did someone had anticipated for it to happen? No one because no one does have the crystal ball to guess things on what would happen ahead.Same goes into the time we are into that we didnt even expect that DeFi did really make out some noise into this market
or did become the new trend or hype.We are approaching 2021 but we cant tell on what would be the next trend, neither we do stay with DeFi for a while or we would see something new.
Therefore, the best thing to be done is to wait up and lets see on what are the new innovations and progress we do able to witness.

Maybe NFT or anonymous altcoins can be the candidates for this position, I prefer to wait for the right time to analyze the market situation. Waiting for another HYPE can change the market nature if everyone gonna buy the new DEFI projects. I prefer to stay away from the useless HYPE projects, better safe than sorry.

And on my end, don't wait what hype will gonna be coming next. It is better to look for projects with tangible plans and that can really execute their objectives. Those projects that will be created according to the current hype will most likely end up as pump and dump and will be short-lived. So it is better to look for projects with actual use case in the market with very good applications where a lot of users are being catered. With active users, it means the platform will generate income and will sustain its presence in the market.
