There is a particular user that keeps returning to Collectibles after getting banned - the people there can always tell that it is him as he often repeats the same antics, the same writing patterns, promotes the same "collectible site".

He has several accounts 4 that are known - and a few that are suspected. In the end, if he behaves we have no issues but so far after 4 accounts with at least 2 of them being banned and one even nuked, I do not think he will correct the actions that cause the problems.

At one point he was Alamjob239 - he was red flagged like crazy for his antics - he then created Bla2kja2k - this account was nuked, the next day he created acemax - that account was also rather quickly red flagged for the same behaviors. He then reappeared as Rainbowsky.

Many people could tell right away that it was him - I knew it because he would message me on telegram and say he was Rainbowsky on the forums and then would 3-4 times a day push his website (the very one that is still on Alamjob239's profile). I tried to be civil but after I declined to manufacture some coin project he wanted me to do, he was then quite rude and would insult me and then call it a joke - I eventually just blocked him on telegram.

He has several threads about his action between meta and reputation sub-forums.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278980.0 - in reputation

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5278739.0 - in meta

Can read thru those threads to see the many complaints. Lately, he is now listing items that are also listed on eBay under an account that we know to be his but that he denies is his (the accounts promote the same website and use the same photos or sometimes different photos but with the same furniture in them) where the items match on serial number and/or public address.

One example is here - though he may delete my post soon, so I will post my response to his listing here as well, in case he deletes it.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284278.0  --- it was originally posted here before he moved it to a new thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284090.0

my response (before he deletes it) its hard to see in that screenshot what the addy is on his forum post but you can see the eBay one clearly and the forum post is linked above. They have the same 1NastyFans address.

I know you excluded me from bidding - but as a concerned buyer, I am posting this for anyone to see so that may know the exact coin is listed in two placed and one of those places you have already stated that is not you - but another forum member, Alamjob239 was quoted months ago saying that was his eBay account. I hope you see the concern here when it appears that two different people are in possession of the same coin. One could be a fake. Or is that eBay account yours? delete this, I will simple keep reposting it. Better to just address the question.

another example is here - where he has numerously deleted the myriad of posts requesting information - he will sometimes lock the thread and recreate it over as well.

Items were listed originally here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5283994.0

and he deleted many requests for him to address why the item he was selling was also listed on eBay under the account he claims is not his.

The same two items were relisted here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5284043.0

There are more posts which follow the same scenario. Instead of addressing the situation/question he will deflect, insult, criticize then try to be your friend - call your products shit and trash and then try to buy them from you. He will go on how he "was so right about you" and now "the community sees you for who you are" ---- just mindless crap to avoid answering the question.

He also has a supported flag based on his actions - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=2823295

Let me know if you want more examples. But can we please get him nuked again? and is there some way to permanently keep him off of here? I already know that answer is no - but can we make it easier to get him nuked every time he shows up at least? So, we don't have to endure months of this.

I reported the recent thread you linked for ban evasion.

In my experience, it's been increasingly harder to get the mods to act on ban evasion. On one hand, I understand: there are objective standards of evidence that exist and they don't want to unfairly ban somebody. On the other hand, some members will never actually contribute "value" to the forum and are more or less leeches, in it for whatever self-serving reason they have.

I'd say 99.99% of the time the mods don't have to worry about preventing the "next satoshi" from access to the forum. If it walks like a piece of shit and talks like a piece of shit, its most likely a piece of shit. And if a new account is 99% likely to be the alt account of a banned account, they should just be banned on principle.

And if a rare mistake was somehow made? Just unban them! Simple as that.

Damn right. Is someone impersonates a banned user so well that they're virtually indistinguishable - there is 0 harm in banning them.

he is now red trusting me for "Messing up all my threads. Non stop trolling. Check all my threads and you will have ideas. Admins know this user and his alts are doing very clearly."

I have 1 alt (also called mopar mining) also I am not trolling his posts I am asking him to clarify if he is the other forum account  that is also selling the same items his account is listing for sale. Simple yes or no will suffice.

good - then I hope he is banned/nuked soon.

Is there something he needs to specifically do to get banned? I would consider his current actions sufficient - though he has been somewhat good the past 2 or 3 days - maybe he saw this thread...

My report remains Unhandled while several others since then have already been marked. That means the mods weren't convinced/satisfied with the evidence presented thus far.

You have to directly link the banned account to the current account. Usually this is done via coin address or social media account posted by the user in a forum post -- or else an on-forum admission that they are the same person.

I've been having the same struggle with a particularly shitty troll (far, far more pointless and vicious than this alamjob guy) for over an entire year. It might be obvious to everyone paying attention that they are absolutely the same person as a banned account but without definitive proof that can be readily spoonfed to the mods, they are unlikely to do anything.

the fact that they both use the same pictures and list the same items isnt enough lol? that they both promote the same website as "their" own? They were even nuked on one account already.

what a shame.

Technically, the answer would be yes. If you copy and paste something verbatim from the internet into your own writing without citing the source or giving credit where it is due, then that could be considered plagiarism. Even if you had good intentions.

I understand that the fact that he copied this text from the forum rules and did not cite the source can technically be considered plagiarism. This is not the point. Will our global moderators and admins consider this copy-paste without citing the source as plagiarism? That's the question Wink

Ah, I see.  Smiley

It's hard to say, really. I've seen some much more serious cases of plagiarism go unpunished (it seems like the moderators are much more lenient on this than before). However, in this case the member is also ban evading, so...

The point here is ban evasion

You yourself are asking, "Is there something he needs to specifically do to get banned?" I went through the list of his posts, found a specific example of technical plagiarism. It's something that might help to get a user banned. You want some kind of result, right? And for ban evasion, the global moderators aren't likely to ban him. There is no direct evidence.

No - i am saying he has been banned on numerous other accounts. He is now back on the alamjob account which is ban evasion - thst should be grounds to get this account banned as well.
