The benefit of creating a good topic

I haven't read anyone pointing this out but please tell me if someone already did and I'll lock this.

If we create a good topic, we are actually helping the forum earn more money through ads space. The more engaging it is, the more pages are created which also means another ad space. I don't know if each page is sold separately but I bet it's still beneficial even if it's not as advertisers would be more than happy to have their product be seen in multiple pages.

This is just my observation from the topics I made and the topics I follow.

No, it's your perspective. There are people with different perspective too. For example, if I create that, I believe that will be helpful for me and other forum user. I can expand my knowledge, and other forum member can also learn something.
Ads are not that needed at the moment to continue forum, forum has a lot of BTC holding which will run the forum more than 10 years atleast I think. So, the way you are thinking, forum isn't motivated in that way.

Ads are needed. The admin wouldn't sell those spaces if they're not. We can say that admin plans the forum to run for more than 20 years, 50 years, or even after the last satoshi is mined.

So, the way you are thinking, forum isn't motivated in that way.

This is not really a motivation to make good topic. I'm pointing out the positive effect of creating one.

Unofficial rule is only creating post or topic if you have real idea (should be good, creative, constructive) to contribute in available discussions (if you make posts) or to contribute to the forum community (if you make topics). Search before making posts or topics.

Relating to topic creation and money (financial) benefit for the forum: the forum does not need it.
- The forum has more reasons to reject low quality topics or repeated topics (if you don't search before making yours).
- The forum does not need to see new attacks of low quality posts or topics as it received in 2017 or 2018.
- It is more harmful than beneficial (in quality or in financial).

It is true that if your topics are constructive, good quality, I appreciated it.

Content is king everything you see online are all about content, the internet is a big information highway, when we create topics here about Cryptocurrency we are promoting and updating all the information about Cryptocurrency and keep the community active and up to date on what's happening around us, the forum makes money from advertising and he kept the platform online, it's a win win situation for all us here.

I don't really agree with this. Generally, ads are paid based on number of views, displays or something like that. Good topics indirectly help increase page views but I don't think creating a good topic much matters. Sometimes, creating a controversial topic even brings more attraction.

More pages on a thread means more revenue to the forum? Forum ads are not sold for each pages,there are definite.ad slots which are gets sold on auction basis.

Creating good topics are helpful for the users and importantly to the creator itself because they can make more merits.

My thoughts exactly. Spam mega threads which attracts pages upon pages of repeated replies are very often not good topics. Also, poorly managed bounty threads which requires walls of reports and authentication posts gets lots of engagements, but are not helpful topics.
Ironically, I notice that most times, really educative and quality topics gets lesser engagements, except in situations where the poster has the ability to engage the audience and make their posts easily understandable.

Advertised sites on the forum appears on the first reply on a thread page, so, a thread with multiple pages of replies would have different sites advertised. While this does not directly generate more revenue, it influences traffic these advertised sites gets and attracts more customers to the forum as well as higher bids.

I was kinda expecting comments on what a good topic is. I didn't define it since that's entirely subjective and it could mean many things depending on who the reader is. It can be informative, controversial, or anything that will invite real discussions.

Good point on technical topics that are less replied to. I gotta admit that I just read most of them

Spam or low value threads can be locked or trashed when reported and that's not going to contribute to the forum. For other types of threads that invites low value posts like reports, we can't do anything about that.

It is not only the earning that matters, it is the learning that we should always prioritize here in this forum.

Sharing thoughts, ideas, and knowledges will help us with being updated and familiar with what is happening in the cryptocurrency industry and community.

Sometimes in platforms like this, ads really matters the most, it is the way where developers or programmers can get money from.

A good topic will lead to good discussions and that is why the forums are really meant for. If people are really interested in learning something new then they will get into such discussions and will make the forum discussion more exciting and will help for the people in the future.

One thing that i learn in this forum is If you really want to make a topic Good and anti Spam?then better make it as "Self Moderated" and continue updating the thread you created so at least spam or multi posting will be deleted.or at least report them to moderator if you think that the post is not helpful at all to the conversation.

There are many benefits to creating a good subject in which we can gain knowledge about many things if you want to do something new in the forum you have to use your intellect to create new and updated things that will benefit others and you will be able to qualify. Also don't post any spamming or copying trying to delete if spamming also if you invest somewhere, you invest in a coin that has done well once or twice in its entire life you need to check the stability or weight of the coin before you choose it.

And of course the merit from other members that would like it.

Maybe I will say it’s baaes on your perspective and everyone has their own perspective. To me a good topic shows how sensitive and attentive the poster is to bitcoin or Cryptocurrency and its a plus to the account because good topics attract merit and some other benefits. So I encourage everyone to always construct high quality topics here so we can promote our bitcoin community and also in the process educate one another about bitcoin. Quality topic will also attract more people to bitcoin.
