Do you mean which exchange has the most volume? Without, looking up data ( as I'm not sure if that's what you are asking), big exchanges like Coinbase, and the like will have the biggest volume during high, and low speculation periods. As for what economics applies to Bitcoin? Every single principle that applies to traditional currencies, applies to Bitcoin. The only difference is Bitcoin is a tad more volatile, and can bring big changes to its price in a small amount of time.

This is just my opinion guys but I think bitcoin and crypto general are currently most used is gambling purposes. Sportsbetting, poker and other card games, dice and roulette are places where bitcoin shines. Since you mentioned speculations, many people do use Bitcoin for speculative purposes. Buying it for cheap and waiting to sell their assets when the value goes up. Based on my experience, I used bitcoin mostly as an asset then wait for it to become profitable for me. Sometimes, I also use it as a payment tool in when I pay my groceries in a supermarket near us. There are BTC ATMs in some part of the world which is good because people can now use it for their daily lives. Just like in Africa, I've read an article that there is a bitcoin ATMs in Africa which is a good adoption for them. Bitcoin is also a sign of economic development that can contribute the countries economy positively.

If you meant so, there are some probabilities:
- Bitcoin for further trading again
-  Bitcoin for long term investment - most people will move the BTC from the wallet exchange to their personal wallet (hardware is recommended).
- Bitcoin for payment method, it will vary on what products or services you got and make payment with BTC.

This reminds me of the Euro, when it was first introduced and replaced a lot of currencies the only really affected were exchange booth, suddenly you didn't need to change marks into franks into pesetas and always pay attention to the exchange rates, there were done of them in the center of the large cities praying on tourists, now only a few survived.
Bitcoin is a currency, is not like some part of the economy will disappear if by tomorrow the $ or the Euro is no longer there.

There are Crypto ATMs in almost all parts of the world now. If the information at coinatmradar.com is correct, there are currently over 11.000 ATMs all over the world. Looking at the map of Africa, Djibouti has 1, Kenya also, South Africa has 6. I can see one in Nigeria, Zimbabwe, and Uganda.

Bitcoin would be convenient for people who don't have a credit card or don't want to use the cards they have, either don't want the spouse to see it on the bill or don't trust giving their number to "porn guys", or afraid of recurring billing.

I’m not sure if I understood the question very well but if your question mean regions where the use of bitcoin is rampant or used more, then it’s would be a little bit technical as I have not yet seen any graphchart showing regions of the world and amount of bitcoin users. Bitcoin is used everywhere in the world but as a digitized currency it’s function and usage is more appreciated in Urban areas because it is believed that as a result of urbanization the class of people living in that kind of settlement are exposed to the internet and information is transmitted easily in such regions.
