at first, it was only natural that someone would think Bitcoin was a scam. that's a natural thing, especially for people who don't know the details.
they only see bad assumptions or news that are lies, not according to facts. however over time, bitcoins prove that they are an important part of the cryptocurrency world. and breaking public lies regarding scam bitcoin. the proof is that until now, bitcoin is still the number one digital currency in the world.

It reasonable for someone who dont understand a bit about Bitcoin to say its a scam and i said cause i was once among those that have such believe about Bitcoin before I later understand it true concept and it hurt that my naive act hindered me from making Millions of USD through BTC cause I would have be among the early adopters if i take my time to study Bitcoin.

Polo7, everything thats scam will only be done or closed down when people decide not to use it or be among the victim

I see, he is is just casting doubt to the people who are not familliar with it and maybe he is someone who doesn't really like how bitcoin dominated the entire crypto market. No matter how you guys work to dirty the names of Bitcoin, it won't really do anything to its current value. Just live your life to the foolest.

I can say its normal and I'm sure you are doubting it also when you first heard about bitcoin, many are just scared to lose that's why they are so careful on where they  are putting their money. But for sure once they see a person who can teach them about the things they need to learn and what to do about some certain situation especially on investment then provably they will join us here for long time period and try to earn on mysterious market of bitcoin.

if bitcoin is a scam what about other altcoins? is it also likely to collapse? but now big companies really believe in bitcoin and other investors and whales also believe in bitcoin and it took months with the collapse of bitcoin for everyone to withdraw their assets and it could be 50% losing money or the worst case scenario could be up to 10- 20% separated from our assets

I can't understand why anyone would think that bitcoin is scam or ponzi. There are many other similar topic about it on this forum and any are all well answered by top member of the forum. There is no reason to think that Bitcoin is scam. If it was scam this could be exposed years ago bitcoin is also open source and anyone can see the the codes, so there is no chance of any backdoor on it. People talking about this case in social media just trying to bring FUD and make people to sell bitcoins so they can buy bitcoin for cheaper price themselves(smart people).
Usually, those who say Bitcoin is a scam have fallen victim to Ponzi projects and end up scams. If they studied bitcoin and cryptocurrency thoroughly, they would realize that getting into a Ponzi project would be very risky. Before they understood the whole technology in bitcoin. they only think about multiplying money and are influenced by a project that they think will get rich instantly. finally, they fall victim to a scam and say that bitcoin is a scam.

As for the other altcoins, there really is a lot of scam!
As for the fact that the bitcoin might collapse - in fact it might really get cheaper, like up to $1000 or $100, but the network will still work! That is, this working technology cannot be destroyed!  And it is quite possible to manipulate the price...

I don't think so that bitcoin is a scam. I have seen a lots of proof payment through bitcoin and I experienced to earn bitcoin on my own. Some people may think that bitcoin is a scam if they dont know how the bitcoin currency works and I believe that its natural that people may think that a bitcoin is a scam.

Anyway, we don't have to assume that bitcoin is scam because it is not. Plain and simple.

i think the question to ask the @op is that how many scam project he has come across that lasted for more than 10 years and still going strong? before people start making irrelevant post about what they have less knowledge about, it will be best to make some inquiries and research as well, the op just lack understanding just as you already stated, he is just seeking attention and nothing more.

I wonder why would OP assume that it is a scam when it has already been more than a decade and the price has been growing yearly.
Isn't it enough proof to say that it isn't a scam? What more does OP need to believe that it isn't scam.

Bitcoin is simply not a scam because it is continuously improving as time goes by. Its improvement is getting bigger and bigger because before, the price of bitcoin is just 50$ and now it is hitting 14,000$ and not yet giving a sign of it that getting lower so it still can fight until it hits 15,000$. If it hits 15,000$ we will earn a lot and it will be the proof that bitcoin is not a scam. People will only say that it is a scam if the price goes down to the floor.

I am just like you OP when I was also new in bitcoin. I did lost in investment as I was so hot believing on the FOMO or HYIP. Yet, I did not regret and instead I learn to it and now still alive and kicking with bitcoin. If you really wanted to learn about bitcoin then take it slow and observe the market first. Later on you will be able to understand and grasp the bitcoin system and will be amaze what could it bring in the future or at the current time. We do not know what will going to happen with bitcoin but for me this is something very big.

When one is new to bitcoin, easily they get under traps. This very first involvement into bitcoin usage at times end as a big failure or loss. This happens as a result of the users mistake, and the same makes people term bitcoin as scam. Once after such an experience very few will continue to use it. This is where people require good learning about bitcoin.

Since most newbies are eager to get money easily, they became more vulnerable to become victims of scammers that uses bitcoin as their front, promising such high returns that for catches the eye of newbies.
Worst case is they invested on it (commonly they cannot afford to lose that money that they invested), resulting them to be devastated as they found out that they have been scammed.
Because of this, they will take bitcoin as bad investment and will tell others that bitcoin is scam, which in reality, is not. Not even an inch.

Bitcoin is not a scam Bitcoin is scam is a decentralized open source and everyone can invest independently. In many places Bitcoin is not legalized, so they think bitcoin is a scam. Currently the crypto market is improving a lot through blockchain technology. As demand increases so do prices. By investing and retaining, traders are making a lot of profit those who do not know the proper use of these currencies think they are scams. The crypto market Bitcoin is on top other cryptocurrencies increase their price depending on the price of Bitcoin.

Let's just it is scam
How Long from Today we have left until Bitcoin will be done?
Let's say its scam we know today so how long we have time until it collpse?
Just humble speculation Let's play out the worse case scenario hope for the best prepare for the worse!

there has been a lot of news about Bitcoin is a scam and if you invest in Bitcoin your money will be lost, but it turns out that Bitcoin is still surviving and growing, because investors still believe to investing in Bitcoin, so even though there is a lot of negative news about Bitcoin, if it still many people believe to investing in Bitcoin, so I believe Bitcoin will still survive and never collapse.

I will never believe that Bitcoin scams, because with the high demand for Bitcoin and the number of Bitcoin ATMs continuing to grow,
it seems unlikely that Bitcoin is a scam. If you want to speculate about the worst that will happen to Bitcoin that's fine, but to mention
a Bitcoin scam is ridiculous.

Bitcoin is being characterized as an speculative bubble because of being volatile. But it is not a Scam. I think, its legitimacy are depending on those numerous people who trusted it so much. However, if you do believe that its a Scam, maybe you should stay away from it and don't you ever get involved in Crypto industry. Its the best thing that you can do, if you are thinking that way. As for me, never will I think negative to bitcoins because I can see how useful and beneficial it is and it really gave me a financial freedom so I must stick to it until the end.

if bitcoin is a scam it will already collapse a long time ago
but it's not a scam that's why it's still here because it has its roots and ground to support the price that's is what we called the demand
in the worst-case scenario, the price will drop when every supporter will stop accepting bitcoin but it will never happen
because even we start again from the start some of us will still use bitcoin because it's convenient and better than the others.
