we can't blame them blame them for me if i'm going to win such amount my first thing i'll buy is a lambo but this post made me realize that the money can be easily go away if you don't use properly i think i should do some rethinking and invest it to somewhere where it can be a profitable in the future.

Majority of people would really have that kind of mindset that they should make out some investment once they do hit up the lottery but when you are on the actual situation
then i doubt if someone will still able to remember on what they had said about that.For that time for sure you would have thought that on why would make out investment

The gambling money comes as quicker as it goes. An example is when you win today and when playing the next day, you are losing and keep playing instead of having a break. Money that comes in gambling is better invested, many that have lost are regretting not investing when they were winning.

Amazing stories about people who got rich fast and didn't know what to do with that money! This topic reminded me on the story I heard years ago, +10 years ago... So a man won tens millions of dollars, in years to come his wife left him for a younger man, one kid died in a car accident, another kid got addicted to heavy drugs... he ended up alone and broke! I don't know is this a real story, or not, I heard it long time ago in some friends talk!
From this people need to learn something, winning big can be dangerous as losing big! You need to know how to handle your loses in gambling, but you need to know how the handle the wins too, it's the same coin with two sides!

This topic reminds me of 2017 shitposters from forum who received a few hundred thousand dollars through various bounties and lost them altogether. While many have left the forum to live a wealthy life, some people have lost the money due to the 2018 dump. I would say none should become wealthy easily as it would prevent their mind to think more productively. For instance in the case of lottery win, some would have been uneducated population who had the luck and got their lottery win. In this case, they wouldn't be knowing much about the money they are having and how powerful investments could be. This is the reasons, lottery winners would be losing their lottery winnings sooner than ever by spending unnecessarily in various shitty ways.

Whereas in another scenario, wealth which was acquired by starting up a business or from other ways can last longer and can help the person to become more wealthy over the period. Entrepreneurs know the real value of wealth and would be investing their profits wisely rather than buying expensive cars or gadgets, roaming all over the world and ruining their money etc. You should probably keep a low profile if you tend to win lotteries to prevent outsiders from having an eye on you and we should be repeatedly investing on our business like how Elon did when he sold PayPal.

Each of us does have that different mindset and the level of knowledge towards investment.Some wont really care at all since the money that they had won is just came from gambling which would be the primary mindset that they would had which means they would spend it all as soon as they can without having thoughts on how to spend it correctly so that it would last out.

There's once here on my country where a lottery winner do able to spend up his winnings into that outrageous manner where he buy those, that and go there everywhere and in 1 year time then he had go back

It is very sad to see the majority of these persons ending real bad because of their relatives.There is a lot to learn here and the first lesson I can see here is to put 60% of the money in your bank account and the rest to not be spent of gambling or luxury devices.I feel the most sorry for the guy who had an affair with his sister in law and he was murdered,murder is never justified not matter what were the reasons behind it.

The sudden wealth that come from an instant way were fast to loss too. Be an instant winner of million dollar prizes in a lottery were definitely can be called as jackpot. And yes one of the main problem of the lucky winners were the thought of where they were going to spend these huge money they got and one thing and never get out on the list are the sucking relatives that if you were refused to gave them again what they are wanted they will cursed you. what a tragedy. some(maybe all) of these people probably thought they have finally got out of the hard life but then ending up getting killed or sued or being used by someone.
sometimes it is hard to argue with the logic of "money is the root of all evil"

It's not clear for me why some on the list become loser while they are just being misfortune on there life like being murdered or being charge for false accusation. The word "Unfortunate" is more appropriate than losers because they didn't waste there money when they are alive.

I did not make the list. Maybe if I have the time someday, I will do a more in depth searching regarding this lottery winners that blew all their money within their control. The same happened with bounty hunting shitposters of this forum. 2017 had been a fortune making lottery win for almost everyone who participated in these bounties. But it didn't last long and they came back again to spam this forum. We have seen old trustworthy accounts from our forum begging for a few dollars during the pandemic and I speculate they could have end up spending all their bitcoin like immediate millionaires back in 2011-2012. Earning money is a lot more difficult than spending and the lucky lottery winners would never understand this.

While Elon sold PayPal he never had the money to pay for his house rent since he ended up investing $180 million almost half in Tesla and half in SpaceX. Both these companies had great return of investment for him and made SpaceX the market leader for producing private spacecrafts and supplying to NASA. This is how people who have self-earned their money and respect would be spending on and not like the uneducated morons buying lambo and showing off in public as being fake rich.

The Lottery businesses should also do their best to teach/suggest to such winners how best to use their money. If possible, suggest to them to lock up huge part of the prizes somewhere safe until they can figure out how to make good use of the money. Many could easily be overwhelmed by their wins that they would be able to figure out how to use them well.

Even in my country once you win a lot or betting in lottery everyone know you even you don't really know that person and will ask for( balato )a small share for your winnings.

that is the problem of most people, they do not want to refuse people because of sudden weath and unexpected winning they  do not know how to properly handle their  money from winning .which can be result of misshandling money and lost a lot of it wasting in unnecessary things and expenses and become  run-out of money in the end.

Not all of these examples are bad. Trust fund is a good idea, donating money to a serious cause is also something that deserves appreciation. As for the family, I think I'd share some money with the closest relatives, but giving it all to people with their loans does not make sense. I'd buy a flat (I'm currently renting, I don't have my own apartment) and maybe one more for lease, save about 10% of the money for studying and travelling, put about 50% into a scholarship for bright students from my country who are admitted to top universities abroad and require small additional financial assistance to go there (I was in this situation, so I want to help out those who'd also be in it), give about 30% to my relatives who could use this money. This is a plan for about $1 million. If it's more than that, I'd spend the first million as mentioned above, and put the rest of the money into opening a good private university in my country (with scholarships for the smartest and those who need them most, of course). I don't want to be rich per se, so in case I get lots of money, I want to spend it on something that matters (for me it's education).

This is the reason why I stopped betting in Lottery because of the risk of either Losing people i love or losing my Life once i become a jackpot winner lol.
Imagine almost all of them end life in bad ways and not just that but in hands of the people close to them.
