Escrows is the number 1 important for this matter, He will your middle man or bridge to make your transaction will be done successfully.
Just make sure the escrow is truly legit and besides, there are section here were we have a listing escrows that are trustworthy anyway. Second of course, you need to show the products or items you are selling here in the forum.

Perhaps he did not sold anything here. Perhaps he didn't find this right platform to sell his product or maybe it was not related to crypto.

Even though OP is not active here still the discussion towards this issue is good to discuss since there are so many newbies come here since they think they can earn here and by looking at signature campaign makes them think about buying an account so that they can join immediately without putting to much effort to get merits to rank up. My experience in buying and selling forums here, I like to involve a trusted third person, because I think it is very important so that there is no cheating from one of the irresponsible parties.

You have to be careful, never transfer money to people you don't know, even if it's legendary.

Trusted 3rd person means escrow on this forum. When you need to choose escrow from the forum, make sure he is a trusted member here.
Some non-trust member also can scam in name of escrow so we need to be very careful in any deal.

It will be a bit difficult to buy or sell in getting to contact to the buyer or seller due to differences of location and the forum consist of users which we all are anonymous to each other. So I think it will be kind of complicated though.

You have probably already received some replies saying that the best protection is to use the trustable escrow service.
I also confirm that in my opinion this is the safest form of securing P2P transactions on this forum.

It is certain that we have an escrow on any transaction that is to be made on crypto. To be on a safe side is why an escrow is needed cause trust issues are things that can't be over or under emphasize and on this forum, it is okay to make a transaction with a high reputable member of the forum, for whomever will be carrying out this transaction will want to keep his reputation and make things smooth, otherwise, to me, it is more preferred to hire an escrow on any transaction, whether on this forum or any other place concerning any crypto transaction.

look for an escrow who willing to help your transaction process (trusted people preferred) or if you look their trust is good and many people leave positive feedback when trading with them then u can try to trade with him/her.
