Exchanges are prone to hackers but Binance made a good exemption and prove that they’ll do everything to solve this hacking incidents, well hodlers of those token can breath again at least. The best crypto exchange site in the world. This name should be very suitable to be used by binance. Binance was also helping another exchange sites that have suffered a big losses caused by the hacked cases.
Im very glad to see that we have trusted exchange site. i din't care whether it will be a centralized or decentralized entity. As long as it's trusted and it's fine.

Great article by the way. I always admired CZ for his greatness. I am really impress with some of his deed and development he did on his exchange. I think every months they always release some new progress and products on their exchange that seems to be favorable to their traders.

You are right. They are definitely the one and only cex that Ive trusted with regards to my funds on a centralized market. I dont know but it seems I can see more progress from their team even with what stage they are now.

Every day, Binance keeps proving it is the best exchange in the crypto space, ranging from good volume, to large users/traders, professional teams, fiat support, advanced user interface and many more. This also shows that to an extent, a hack can be tracked and crypto recovered as well and of course Binance team has taken the lead in that as well. One thing I have comes to understand about the Binance team is that, they are always eager to take steps that will keep them ahead of other exchanges in this way convincing users that they are reliable. Lastly, as it stands, I do not think there is an exchange that can overtake Binance in any way.

Well done to Binance team but there are still some grey area in the explanation given. Good that Binance was able to recover the fund but what if they were not, those gullible traders/investors that got rugged must learn their lessons, do not trust any new projects especially those that their identity are not known

As expected on Binance, they committed to recover those money and there you go, they are slowly collecting those money and soon will distribute to the real owners.

This is why we have to deal with the top exchanges always because they care on their users and they care to protect their own reputation. This is a big challenge to other exchanges, I hope they can do the same thing. Binance is always my top choice of exchange, I hope that they will be more secured and no more hacking incidents under Binance.

They're making it possible to recover those stolen funds by the project scammers. They are grandstanding for this news because it will give them another credit for being a good or might be the best exchange in doing things like this.

This is good. Actually if they keep doing thing like this and being all responsible while succesfully recovers the scammed money on top of that they will easily gain more trust. I mean I know I'm stating the obvious but the fact that they did this far and manage to recovers the fund is some serious commitment. Hopefully other platform follow this example and the funds delivered back to the rightful owner.
Though it should also be a serious concern for binance to take some measurement within their Smart Chain.

Of course binance is the best exchange in crypto world right now, they tend to make crypto become successful on the long run, IEO is able to gain a strong foundation thanks to binance and few other top exchanges, without them this crypto space will be too unsafe for investors, I wish then all the best

If there will be more exchange sites platform try to do what binance did and we will have a very secure ecosystem that makes the scammers will not able to withdraw their money from there.

The connection between one to the another exchange site is a must.
I like how binance maintain its platform from the scammers but again binance must be careful when launching a new defi platform. In this case, we have learned that binance needs to do more improvements on its audit for defi platforms.
It looks like the scam defi has fooled binance.

Shame to all other exchanges that aren't doing all they can to retrieve stolen funds from scammers, binance will always be 10 steps forward ahead of other exchanges, this is the only crypto exchange that intentionally want the best for crypto projects and investors combined.

binance are really trying thier best to protect thier name and they wont allow not a single scratch on it because they already made a big reputation on the trading industry . we think or they think that being hack the most is a bad thing but we realized that it was an additional points to them to make the exchange more trusthworthty,  lets expect that this awesome performance done by binance wont fade because after this news there are still new people that are going to switch for binance because they think their funds are insured .

the author of the Coindesk article in the OP said that they haven't gotten a reply from the exchange about what they're going to do next. But given how compliant the scammer was to return all the stolen funds the moment he was asked to, who knows, maybe they won't be as harsh as they initially wanted to in court

either way, good work from Binance, recovered all the stolen funds + this will give them some free publicity...thing is that some crypto newcomers might feel a false sense of safety by leaving their coins on the exchange rather than in their own wallets after reading this news, they'd be like "well, if something happens to my coins, they'll recover it asap", hmmm 🤔

At first, I thought it was the insurance company that back-up Binance in case something like this ever happens, apparently it wasn't.
However it questionable as the scammer was willing to return the funds as 99,9% recovered.
it seems there will be no law enforcement or prosecution in this case.

After being contacted by Binance, the scammer returned the funds to the exchange.
CoinDesk asked the exchange if it had reported the scammer to law enforcement, but a reply hadn't been received by press time.

At first, I feel bad about it, because the crypto exchange that I was used since 2017, has silently infiltrated by scammers and used it as their launchpad, It is clear evidence that in the crypto space you can't trust anyone, even a trusted site like Binance has become a victim. But thanks to the Binance security team for the successful recovery of that stolen funds, it was proven that Binance is really a trusted brand. I hope that it will not happen anymore.

There certainly are brainy people on Binance. Unlike previous exchanges, they try to keep their users with building trust and feeling of security around them. No wonder they are a clear leader on crypto market for years now. One of the interesting thing I loved about them is they sent me an email this morning about a blog from them that called Defi to be the future. They clearly know what's coming and are not afraid to accept it.
