Are you sure about this you have said? It’s not yet launched, the website shows that it is the deposit contract that was launched. I checked for it below at the timeline and milestones. I believe we are going to hit that 524k before it is too long. I know it may not be as quick as 1st of December, maybe it will take 6 more months, maybe we will be ready during summer but I think this is something that will happen one way or another and we will see it. Obviously people do not want to get involved right now, this is brand new and it is not even ready and you are paying for something that you will not be getting advantage of for maybe months, so people are scared and they are not getting involved.

However eventually with more and more money coming in, no matter how long it takes, it will definitely get done. Hopefully it gets done by 1st of December though, I would love to see the change, I know it probably won't but it would be awesome if it could.

If I'm not mistaken, there is a certain distrust of potential validators towards the Ethereum 2.0 network.  This is because the validators lost significant funds on the testnet. 

Ethereum 2.0 is a fundamentally new system.  Despite the highly qualified developers, network failures are possible.  In this case, the validators bear great financial risks. 

In a bull market, investors have many profit opportunities. 

Avoiding risks (in such a situation) is a smart decision.
