Correct me if I'm wrong , I just observe this in one defi project I invest last month, they use NFT in farming , they will sell NFT ( Non-Fungible Token) in big parts not that are cannot be divided or by parts, then this will be use to farm another such as ETH or another token, they created dAPP wherein you will needed to exchange that NFT , it is commonly used now in farming and gaming. You may buy NFT and sell it in easy and faster way. Their tokens can be sell in uniswap, but in order to buy this NFT to them, you should be in the whitelist, since they sell it in few people only.

I love to have a look on opensea.io since there are a lot of nice NTF including some digital art works.
Just as example most of the famous are cryptokittens and austrian stamps token. there are even some hype for some digital artwork or the land with sandbox.
It's a new market for sure, austrian stamps have a good success.
some others (what you can generate like cryptokittens) are probably over valued since there are too many pieces around and everyone can create it.

How the token itself can be connected with the NFT? I just had read a few of the above suggestion but didn't get any idea about this one (will check once again) as I barely had invested in such NFT. Is it some sort of ICO?

As there's always debate regarding Defi and NFT but I fee NFT is more professional and could perform better with its characteristics. But I always tell people that NFT would supers Defi projects soon. Defi can be minted but NFT isn't same way because all tokens can be sold out. This is something new to me this ERC - 721. Though I am familiar with some NFT tokens,  other possible uses are waiting to be develop or discovered.  Saying that they are the future what excites me. Decentraland for example is another good NFT  project which garnered $26M from ICO.

Sorry I am a bit late to the conversation.

As other have stated, an NFT or non-fungible token, is a token or a digital representation of a unique real-world asset. Stepping away from cryptocurrencies for a second, a $1 bill is fungible since it is interchangeable with other $1 bills. For example, if you lend your friend a $1 bill, he does not need to give you back the same $1 bill. In other words, all $1 bills are the same.

On the other hand, a car is non-fungible. If you lend you friend your car, he has to give you back the same car since cars are not interchangeable. NFTs works this way. therefore 1 NFT token cannot be traded for another since they represent unique things. This makes NFTs great for digital artwork, gaming items, and other collectibles.

So after Defi projects here comes the NFT projects. What could really be the difference of these type of project to ICO, STO, IEO AND.DEFI?

I do not understand they created that much projects but really not working. There may be few that are actually good but in the long run it had develop problems in their platforms and scammers are everywhere ruin the kind if fundraising activity. You see that scammers too could create their own defi projects and being run by a newbie. There are many of this in the altcoin and bounties section.

Anyway, I a hoping that NFT will shows a good way of fundraising activity and that scammers could not make it to this kind of crowdfunding or will be distinguish if ever they will also create their own NFT projects.

I feel like NFT is now where the money is, not just for digital artists that mints their NFTs and sells it, but even for normal crypto users.

And you're correct, there are games like Battlewave 2323 that lets you stake & HODL their coin in order to get NFT drops. Gaming in the blockchain involving NFTs will explode this 2021 and 2022.

I think you are absolutely right because use case of NFT is not very strong, it is digital art and attracts only Art lovers but paying huge cost of NFT is not possible for general investors/traders in crypto space, only high worth clients can afford this kind of art work. I am afraid this Hype of NFTs will not long and die down soon because mass adaption will be difficult due to weak use case..

To be fair, NFTs started several years ago, and it saw a huge spike of interest earlier in the year. Now the market seems to have cooled down a lot, but that's really because the fomo fuelling it has died down. The actual underlying use cases are still there, as your ebay news shows;)

NFT market is very new and still going through development process but it is great opportunity for creators and traders to make earning. NFT can't keep up being this big. I believe that there is going to be NFT hype this much and for this long, there is nothing that could be happening that can sustain this for long term. Think about how much money is involved in the NFT world, that would be awesome if it happened for any other thing because it would definitely make a great profit for it and could be sustained if it was done to something that was already good and it just added on top of it instead of taking NFT from zero to this high level.

Looking at the meme coin world, they are doing exactly what you are suggesting. They all know that doge or shiba or whatever memecoin they are buying have zero value, none of them believes that it should be a great coin to buy and has a great future, they all do it just because there is a hype around it and if they can take advantage of that hype to make some profit then there is nothing to worry about.

I would say that there is a good chance we could make some profit with this as well, NFT could definitely be something you do not believe in but you still invest just because you believe that people will pay more, but that is a very risky way to approach investment isn't it? My actual opinion...

Since I heard about NFT's in 2014. Kevin McCoy, a digital artist, minted the first-known NFT on May 3, 2014, but I guess the genesis idea of NFTs is even older Back to 2012 called "Colored Coins" which describe a method for representing real-world assets on top of the Bitcoin blockchain and can be used to prove ownership of those assets. Basically, a regular Bitcoin, but with a metadata mark on them, that determines their use.

In 2021,  99% of NFTs are just another annoying buzzword to feed scammers and speculators.
