These are different trends or phases in the crypto space and with each phase comes a winning time and lossing time, but it always looks like the lossing time is always much. What I meant is this, it started with ICO, and during this ICO many good projects were developed and most of them are still functioning till today at the same time, many scams also took place and owing to the high rate of scams, ICO was abandoned for IEO. Now those good projects can be considered the winning time/projects because most investors earned well while the scam projects can be considered the lossing time. The failure of ICO lead to IEO and till date IEO is still working but not as it used it, however, this then shows that IEO is different from ICO and more sustainable as well. DeFi on the other hand, is different as well, the hype was much, projects pumped and many dumped terribly on their investors, this might be the reason some people call most of them scams, and likely taking the path of ICO.
Therefore, from all, I will say IEO is different and better.
On the other hand, anyone tagging the crypto space as scam, shows the person lacks the knowledge of how it works.

Many years before the Cryptocurrency was a scam for some people, later people said that ICOs are scam, when ICOs had gone and IEO had begun then they were blaming that IEOs are scam later now they are calming that DeFi is scam

They need to be called LOOFER= LOOSER who just want to spread FUD for their own benefit
It can not be controlled to some extent because of the loopholes and bugs in every system especially when it comes to something new. There are people who are ready to exploit, scam, abuse or misuse each new thing and to get rid of them is not easy as they keep coming back in different forms and things. I hope in future there would be a service to atleast certify genuine projects so that people can stay away from non certified projects. |

Crypto is not a scam. Just as crypto is constantly evolving with new technology, scammers are also improving their traps. They use the opportunity with new trends. So that people do not understand their trick.

We can't call it DeFi scam yet. There are still lots of potential with DeFi, but its hype just really slowing down towards death. However, when there is no hype remaining in this market and it will slowly turning the projects into their graveyards and nobody will even care about certain projects. We are slowly getting there, so just look at it for now.

"scammers are not born, they become scammers" now it's time for DEFI, when scammers became such a number that they begin to think that the idea itself was originally an idea of deception in the future, which I think is not correct, I am sure that all this was created with good intentions, and only then the scammers turned it into everything that we can now observe |

I would not be as categorical as TS and I think that calling people "LOOFER= LOOSER" is not quite correct. In addition, I am sure that each of us, when he shares some information, gets his "benefit" from it.

They say crypto is a scam because they don't know better. I am not surprised by so many scams around, scammers simply follow trends and crypto is in trend for years! Nothing can stop scammers from scamming, they existed before, and they will exist in the future, what people need to learn is how to stay safe and to keep themselves from that! Here on forum there're many good topics about how do a proper research, what to look for, people should educate themselves before jumping into fire with investing, trading, gambling and doing all other things closely connected with dealing with money! |

I will not mention who they are, but for sure that scamers are always around us and even we also can not realize which one is going to be a scam. It is true that between ICO, IEO, ITO / DEFI can turn into fraud and vice versa. but without them we would not be able to benefit and would never know about the criteria for fraud.

Well for real there are scammers and the problem is that so many of these projects are being carried out by scammers, so people has to be careful. But, if people tell you that a project is a scam it’s good that you look into the project and verify by yourself whether it’s a scam or not.
Because, sometimes there are some people who don’t abide by the rules and regulations of the platform and when they happen to run into a problem with that platform, knowing very well that they are the ones who were wrong, they will still blame it on the platform and call them scammers. It’s always good to verify by yourself and also seek for the opinion of other people.

Cryptocurrency scam will be end if the cryptocurrency dies. That's means, We can't stop cryptocurrency scam. But we can reduce it by alerting newcomers. |

It is not about spreading fud, previous IEOs and DeFi projects are becoming scam just like what happen to ICOs before. Since Defi is the previous trend, scammers are taking advantage of it to benefit themselves and take more money from people. Remember, as long as there is money involved, scammers will always be there to take that situation into their advantage. |

DEFI has bigger number of tricks than some other area in crypto cause Defi got a swelled level of consideration from the financial specialists. Genuine Defi are the fate of crypto based money however it doesn't mean every single defi that approaches would be a whole achievement. ICO and I see that we can win this field in the event that we have enough information and comprehension about it, much the same as DeFi seems to follow new patterns on the lookout.

Adjuctly. I can't disagree that during ico time, so many project had gone to scam but there are so many project, who were suceesful & still available even gained top rank in crypto market! What about those? Same for IEOs and defi hyip.people who understand crypto, will invest again on ico/ieo/defi. Cause those system are not scam but some scammers using those system to scam people

In the time of ICO there are many scam happening even do in IEO or DeFi there is always a scam.
And Ill think it depends only from a project or we a bounty hunter of which the right project thus have a feeling to succeed.
And I know there are lots of project in there thus have a potential and I seen in this days that there are project are now handled by professional BM.

i think they should learn about cryptocurrencies before judging if crypto was a scam, by the way, not all ICO, IEO and defi project scam thats mean they were wrong mate, do not believe to the FUD spreader, just believe with your own analysis |

There is nothing that human beings will not be labeled. DeFi can be over-hyped but will never be a scam. Apart from being your own bank, you are getting incentives for staking or keeping your digital asset. As long as you are doing so with the right projects, it will never be tagged as a scam.
You said that defi will never be a scam but recently there are some defi platforms have been hacked by the hackers. I think that we can't easily judge it based on our opinion but anyone is free to express their emotions. The fact that if there will always be a trusted or scam defi. it must be judged from the fundemental of projects. We can't generalize all of defi projects were scam. That thing will be much more suitable to judge it based on the project's fundamental. |

Well Crypto, ICO, IEO and DeFi itself are not the scam's, but the creators and scammers are the scam's.
I can assured you most of these scammers are serial scammers and are usually from Asia, China or Russia
Yes ICO, IEO are ways to raise funds to start a certain project but there are some people that exploit this method to attract and scam people right off the bat. You can not blame it from project running ICO and IEO and honest ways rather blame all those to people who scam others. |

So you need seek what good and not much big talk like project progress. Look on repos if have and see where they end updated it. if just post we not sure where they end up to.

Scam and fraud is everywhere not only in the crypto world, that is why we should be educated and knowledgeable when we encounter this kind of things for us not to be deceive by them. Many investors and bounty hunters are now having trust issues in new projects because they end up being a bad and a scam project, so we should make a deep research before participating in every crypto projects.
