DeFi is a great concept for the financial system but since the HYPEs have many DeFi projects that ended up in scams, it is all because the aim of some developers is just to steal investors' money. be careful when choosing the DeFi project you wish to invest in.

Scammers will always take advantage of every opportunity to seize investors' money on the project the scammer has created, and then people blame all the hype is a scam. Everyone has to blame themselves for not having sufficient analytical knowledge so you can't filter out the scam project.

Most projects birth via ICO, IEO and Defi are nothing but pure scam. Most are down with -91% and may never revive again, while most ran away with investors fund. So we just have few really success story. People hate good long term project with potentials but choose to chase HYIP to their detriment. staying with bitcoin and top altcoin will always be gold regardless of what happens in the market.

None of them should be labeled scam as long as there are some good projects.

Even if 90% of them are scams by putting them all in one bag you're generalizing and not being objective.

I don't think Defis will hold on. They will probably suffer the same fate as ICOs, but they are not all bad.

I totally agree with this. tons of new projects that end up in scams. there should be special conditions or guarantees to an agency or agency for a new project. so that it can be controlled and not cause problems in the future.

Nothing new. As long as there is money involved, scammers will try to scam those newbie investors.
The problem is some of the investors are ignorant. They don't try to learn first before investing.

You can say to the scammers that they are losers but also take note that scammers will not be successful if the investors are just knowledgeable enough to know which projects are scam and which are not. It is the fault of the investors too.

They are always saying as scam because they didn't review the project when it launched! They are always invested without proper knowledge on some project with so much hype then when they bought or participate to IEO or ICO etc. And then after they saw the starting price on the market and they didn't wanted or if its below the IEO, ICO price etc. They shouting all the IEO's ICO's are scam. So the lesson is we need to know the deep knowledge before we dive into that situation.

A scam scheme can scam in any way they want as they can use any concept of like ICO, IEO, defi to deceive the investors. Basically It is important to have previous experience to invest and stay away from scam schemes, because there are many shitcoins who provide more profits and then they run away with the money.

There are scam ICO, IEO, or De-Fi but they are not scam in general, if we check the markets of altcoins now, you can see that majority of it came from ICO and that means they aren't scam although it's scam to say that majority oft he ICO projects are scam.

Why very busy with many ICO, IEO and DeFi have been scam why not to focus only with coin listed on exchange market, if you wanna faced trouble with many ICO and IEO scam why still you invest, I have quit from many IEO and ICO project because right now the era investment of ICO and IEO ended with lower trusted from investor, so I waste my time only with trading and active when have launchpad from Binance exchange because I got many coin success raise higher price after listing on Binance. Scams exist in crypto because there's always corrupt people who does not care about others but those spreading rumurs maybe they are victims of many scams and they got pissed because they lost their money because i would be too or they are people who hate crypto and  they don't believe in it are spreading rumors so they can keep newcomers from joining.

I guess everything depends on the project power because a strong project can process ICO/IEO anything. Investors will come automatically if a project have top exchange partnership with funds power. You may know that the time of ico was good but investors have moved away from this concept for some messy scam project.

It's very common that the new trends will come and scammers will use it to stole our money. After a big failure of ICO, IEO came to save us, unfortunately after few months later scammers used it too. Then DeFi started, and scammers are using it now. Maybe the next trend will be Dex.

not only ICOs are scams, IEOs and DEFIs are also scams, it doesn't mean all IEOs and DEFIs are all successful, but some are scams too.  we must be smart in choosing projects.  It is true that people who spread FUDD want to make a profit, but we must not believe fake news and must analyze the news.

There were so many successful defi,ieo and ico but despite the fact, there were so many legit coins coming from those kinds of fundraising and then we are still having scam ico, defi and ieo until this time.
FUD can be considered as a strategy for people to load more coins from the weak hands. The weak hands will be shaking their hand then the FUDDERS will take it.
