What you're saying is true, but putting your trust on one person and a centralized platform and coin < trusting a truly decentralized and proven blockchain, not saying ETH is one of them but it's way better in terms of decentralization, that's the whole point behind the comparisons like this, of course all of this does not prove a coin will be going up in price more than the other one and it surely doesn't mean it's going to be a better investment but just as a cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiastic you find the more decentralized ones more appealing specially when there are that many good options like Monero.

Perhaps, you can buy both, but you can give a big portion of ethereum and not give too big in BNB. Using that way, you can expect to make a profit from both coin ethereum and BNB. Ethereum and BNB are listed on many exchanges, so I think you can see that both ethereum and BNB will have a chance to increase in the future. But as we know that ethereum is bigger than BNB, I think ethereum will take the opportunity to rise high than BNB.

defi are going to phase out soon . i can feel it because they are now starting to get dull . only those yeild farm are making them alive but once those are phase out as well that will be game over for defi but there may still more to come onwards after that .

 in the meantime while waiting for that , theres already an eth 2.0 that are ongoing which can help attract more people to join in eth . i think this alone can beat binance bnb coin and theres also one major disadvantage of binance which is its more centralized .

You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. I'm not a hater of ETH or BNB but I wouldn't let them be majority of my investment package though. I prefer heavily BTC but it's always good to have some ETH and some BNB.

This comparison is not healthy as they have some kind of different usage area. BNB has straight connection to its centralized exchange and its owners. ETH is more decentralized if not at all but it has some weak points too.

Both are different blockchains with many projects based on them, but more are based on Ethereum, also both have their different ideas which keeps making them valuable. Just like you indicated, Defi is making Ethereum big in the same way, Binance exchange etc, is making BNB big as well, therefore just like you need Ethereum to access many services, Invest in some projects on the Ethereum blockchain, in the same way, you will need BNB to access services on the Binance platform; so it means that, both have things which will keep making them valuable. I agree that BNB is centralized, but looking at the success so far from the Binance team shows that they are experts who are doing everything they can to ensure the continuous growth of their platform, hence BNB is not other altcoins which can fail anytime. Lastly, investing in both of them, to me, can also be a good idea.

In a situation like this I always recommend that people go for the both cryptocurrencies. BNB is a good cryptocurrency and it’s doing well, and that has the same with Ethereum. Centralization has involved in our world for many years. Binance is a stupendous coin. Have you ever thought an exchange coin can become a well-known asset? They have only established for 3 years and binance is one of their best product

But as far ad I know, the less centralized a coin is, the more useful it is. Not only that, ethereum is more well-known that Binance coin and many products are being built on this platform. hmm .. is there a mistake here? I don't think BNB is that bad, even a coin worth holding among the top coins. Binance exchange has yet to end their coin burning mechanism, so the more they make, the more coins they burn. That will lead to lower supply and very high prices in the long run!
As for Ethereum, it is definitely the best altcoin on the market with a super platform. I think you should divide your capital to hold both of these coins in the long term, Binance exchange is not as easy to collapse as you think.
