I have BNB's but not that much.

IMO you should never invest in BNB, you should go with ethereum because it is expensive, which means that whales cannot buy the much of the supply, furthermore it is too risky to invest in BNB since CEX has no warranty that your coins or their system is safe even they claims it but it is very risky so no whales will be interested to invest in it since if there is anything wrong with the exchange, they (the whales along with their investment) will be burnt.

ETH is the "by default" chain used for DeFi so far, as much more blockchain devs are familiar with Solidity.
Lot of open source code for ETH is available out there.

BNB is build out of COSMOS SDK and has been set private.
Heavily centralized is the trade off for Binance DEX to be way more efficient (faster and cheaper) than what is build on ETH.

I appreciate your opinion. I will prefer premises that differentiate the 2 coins and why you think they will be profitable, than stating the preferred coin to purchase base on your on opinion. ETH cannot be compared with BNB not even in rarest dreams. ETH has a fight with coins like Chainlink or something. BNB is altogether different. BNB's success is altogether dependent upon the success of Binance as an exchange and nothing else, rest everything is a hoax. Moment Binance begins to lose its market share BNB will start falling too. BNB's value is generally maintained using those coin burns that they have every quarter or something. Apart from that there is no utility that BNB provides. While ETH as of now has been the most useful platform. But the problem with ETH is that it won't remain a utility coin if it's price goes.

Now this still looks pretty low but for an automated platform these types of smart contracts will happen almost every second. Therefore making it pretty hefty for anyone to use ETH as a smart contract platform. This problem is so far solved by Chainlink. ETH's utility isn't in sending payments to each other.

What you're saying is true, but putting your trust on one person and a centralized platform and coin < trusting a truly decentralized and proven blockchain, not saying ETH is one of them but it's way better in terms of decentralization, that's the whole point behind the comparisons like this, of course all of this does not prove a coin will be going up in price more than the other one and it surely doesn't mean it's going to be a better investment but just as a cryptocurrency and blockchain enthusiastic you find the more decentralized ones more appealing specially when there are that many good options like Monero.

defi are going to phase out soon . i can feel it because they are now starting to get dull . only those yeild farm are making them alive but once those are phase out as well that will be game over for defi but there may still more to come onwards after that .

You shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket. I'm not a hater of ETH or BNB but I wouldn't let them be majority of my investment package though. I prefer heavily BTC but it's always good to have some ETH and some BNB.

Both are different blockchains with many projects based on them, but more are based on Ethereum, also both have their different ideas which keeps making them valuable. Just like you indicated, Defi is making Ethereum big in the same way, Binance exchange etc, is making BNB big as well, therefore just like you need Ethereum to access many services, Invest in some projects on the Ethereum blockchain, in the same way, you will need BNB to access services on the Binance platform; so it means that, both have things which will keep making them valuable. hmm .. is there a mistake here? I don't think BNB is that bad, even a coin worth holding among the top coins. Binance exchange has yet to end their coin burning mechanism, so the more they make, the more coins they burn. That will lead to lower supply and very high prices in the long run!
As for Ethereum, it is definitely the best altcoin on the market with a super platform. I think you should divide your capital to hold both of these coins in the long term, Binance exchange is not as easy to collapse as you think.

I have invested in ETH. 524,288 ETHs are required for Eth 2.0 to launch. And one person needs 32 ETH. It must be held for 1 year after stake. So I think ETH pump soon.

When even the owner of Binance holds many different coins, I do not understand people who want to go just with one of them. I understand the logic to compare these type of coins and I get that you want to pick the best one, but why risk with going just one? Pick both of them is the right answer but I think even more right answer would be pick even more?
