Ok so I will deposit in BTC, but the betnomi site shows EUR to me. How can I transfer 5$ as buddy transfer?
(Sorry for my incompetent questions, I really appreciate ur help)

If you click on your "Avatar" -> Select my profile -> My Wallet , You will see the buddy transfer available there. I'm just looking on my phone but can't find a way to toggle between USD and EUR. I though it was possible whn I was on the poker client but am not able to check. I'll ask in their main thread about that.

I have found where I can check to confirm buddy transfers, but have yet to do one myself. Looks like people just need my username - Steamtyme - to send the 5 USD to me. If you can't switch between EUR and USD, I guess to the conversion using Google or Preev and send it. I will keep track to see if you over/underpaid. Hopefully it's an easy switch that I just can't find from my phone.

btw who is that "Undetermined"?
Anyway, I will transfer in BTC. If I cannot convert in USD, I will send in EUR and will use the actual exchange rate. Hope that is fine for you all...

Undetermined is the term I put for everything not settled yet. Steamtyme has volunteered, if you guys are ok with that?

Quick question is there an option for people to switch between their displayed currency (USD/EUR). We are just trying to get everyone on the same page for being able to do buddy transfers in our Poker series that starts this weekend hopefully.

Good question @Steamtyme. The buddy transfer is possible between users who have the same currencies. Ie, if a users is using USD as their currency, they can receive transfers from any other user using USD as their currency and same applies to all other currencies. As for changing/ switching between currencies, that is not possible at this time. The selected currency at the time of registration by the user remains their currency.

Steam asked about this matter in Betnomi offical thread and this is their answer! My selected currency is USD, I guess it goes like that automatic, I didn't choose anything in my registration, at least I don't remember I saw it! I don't know is it a stupid suggestion, but those extra fees and rewards can be in some alt with low transaction fee. There are many, for example I would be fine with ltc, trx, doge... maybe that would be nice!

As I see it, pretty much everything is solved, except those transfers for extra fees. It's already Thursday, and I am not sure will we play this weekend or not! Anyway my deposit is confirmed and I wait for passwords and games to appear! I expect good poker with you people, as always!

Very interesting! My currency is EUR but I got never asked what kind of currency I want to choose. So I have no clue how to handle the buddy transfer..
Alts are not my favourite choice as I don´t want to handle those shitcoins

When you were making your account there is a step when you are asked to choose USD or EUR. My choice was EUR. This will be PITA to solve. Couple of ideas but nothing that seems hassle free:
We could collect the money on two accounts - one for USD and one for EUR, and then do some shenanigans when the time comes to pay out the prices
We could make one currency as mandatory but that would mean all the people who have wrong currency have to do new accounts, probably against the rules at Betnomi but I guess old accounts can be deleted.
We pay the fees for all the tournaments in one BTC transaction.

1. If my balance is shown in USD, will I be able to transfer $5 to a EUR account?

I fill in random country for that and my withdrawal went through. From my own personal experiences, All you need is to fill the data with something on that and you are good to go.

Well, its still Friday and plenty more time before we hit the first game. As long as you intended to play for the upcoming weeks as well, I think we are cool even if you send the extra fees next week before the 2nd game. I doubt that people are going to tarnish their reputation for a mere $5  


@Yahoo : I think there is only 1 person with Euro as their currency so would it be possible if you ask Betnomi's help to deduct their euro balance from the account and transfer it into Steamtyme somehow?

4.23 euro = $5 atm so 25.38 euro = $30 for the entire 6 games extra fees

I am in EUR but no need to ask Betnomi for help regarding my account. I am waiting for this the final procedure to be settled and then I will agree something directly with Steamtyme or just make another account on Betnomi and settle it with them.

Don't worry I'll find the way to pay, but I don't think I am the only one with balance in EUR.

Was chatting with Yahoo a bit last night, they are communicating with Betnomi to try and sort this out. I'm waiting for an update from them, and we'll all go from there. Either way we'll figure out a way to get the side pot sorted out. I'm headed to bed now so I'll catch up with everyone tonight, and also be around Saturday. So everyone who plans on playing just carry on as usual and expect this to kick off Sunday. More than enough time to come up with options if we need to.

I totally support the idea of discarding the extra fee. I think, the lower the buy-in, the more people will join up, and the $17.74 isn't that small already.

Actually that is $2.74 fee because they buy in we agreed on is $15

Lets scrap it then , so we'll be paying $17.74 instead of $15 + $5 extra fee + $2.74 website fee and its all good because we are still having problem with some account's currency showing as euro instead usd

The average regular in betnomi is pretty decent. Lots of wild hand and wide ranges. Most of us would probably knocked out before we even reach the final table

With 20k chips and 10 min. blinds we will play much longer! But I like the suggestion about points for each knockout... just it will be a problem for tracking that! Someone needs to watch all tables, to write down what happens, and to play poker!

Let's not complicate things, copy/paste the settings from previous series and that's it! Create poll for blinds structure, let the votes make a final decision about that!
