It worked last week but probably not today. You were sitting out most of the time and probably things will be different if you keep playing from the start. Great Game though  


Good game everyone especially @Webtricks and congratulations on winning this one. According to my count, webtricks Knocked out atleast 6 players from the Final Table thus giving me a good chance to finish on top because I badly need more points lol   .

In the end webtricks knocked me out with Quads 5. I cant complain much about this week because I was supposed to be dropped out by Yahoo, had a QQ vs AK all in flip against him and ended up doubling up my stack on that one

This one has to go down as the most insane tournament I ever played! I hardly got 3-4 quads in the first four bitcointalk series but got 3 in a single tourney today:

If that was not enough, check out this insane hand!! It is definitely the most insane hand I ever played, it has to be! Four players having pocket pairs, four way all-in! Then a pair landed on table too. There were high chances that someone may hit set but I was able to take the pot with my Aces.

When the whole tournament was going like a crazy ride, why should the final hand end in an uninteresting manner? Well, it didn't! It was my QQ against Yahoo's K10 in the pre-flop. Yahoo got his stronger pair on the flop, however, I was still tripping over my QQ and thought he's bluffing and called. But when he went all-in on turn, I realized I made a mistake and he's holding pair of Kings. But it was already too late, I was big stack into the hand so I called his all-in and guess what I got my set of Queens with staggering odds of 4.55% on the river:

If that wasn't insane enough. I got pocket Aces twice, pocket Kings twice, pocket Queens once, pocket Jacks twice, pocket 10s once, pocket 9s twice, pocket 8s once. Wow and just wow!!

It was one of the craziest games I've ever played. During the first hour I was the 1st, the last, then the 1st again.  With my pocket 4s I ended up folding a full house after webtricks' river raise here



because I thought he had an Ace(or a five). But webtricks showed it. He had four tens!

And then, literally 5 minutes later this happens:



Quads! Second time within 6 minutes!

Then some crazy stuff started happening(glad I took those screenshots).



Four players are going all-in, and look at their pocket cards:



Webtricks scooped it with his Aces, making his chip stack 63k+

Well there is only one explanation for this... My game started with pocket KK but unfortunately ^{[or fortunately]}, I wasn't sober enough to take advantage of my luck. Therefore, as it should be, luck went to the one who needed it most, and if I'm not mistaken, then in the unofficial rules of the lucky ones it is written that luck is transmitted clockwise.^{[1 3 5 7, etc.]} Therefore, webtricks can be congratulated in twins, with a victory in the tournament and the upcoming successful week.
webtricks, I certainly don't want to upset you at such a festive moment, but next Sunday I'm going to return my trophy.

And I would like to join yahoo62278's congratulations... This is his first victory and the first points he earned in this series of tournaments!

During the whole game people were saying in the chat that they were getting pocket AAs and KKs more than usually. And look how my game ended yesterday:



My Ace-Five suited against Yahoo's pocket Aces. Pocket Aces yet again!

Webtricks congrats man! Nice pictures, with 3 quads you know you had an amazing game! And I played some hands against you like a total noob, letting you recover with my stupid bluffs and calls...

Anyway great game, a bit more players this time! Many ups and downs this time for many of us! I thought Steam will continue to rock through the game and win, but there're no guarantees on the poker table!

First off, we miss you, guys, and, secondly, look at the current spreadsheet . It is still not that hard to end up in the top 9 after 8 games, and then play in the Grand Final with $1,000 prize pool! And in the case of extreme bad luck, you can still play in the Little Final with $300 prize pool(you just need to join at least 2 of the 8 qualifying tournaments for that).

That's right, 4 games are remaining, and yes, it's still doable thing.

If you'll manage to finish in the top 5 in each game(meaning that you'll get 24+points), you'll have very good chances of playing in the Grand Final. See it for yourself by looking at current number of total points each player has



Only 5 players have 20+ points. In theory, you can still beat anyone point-wise.

Aside from being lucky, all of the players are naturally good in poker. Most have improved by alot if you compared it with the last series.

The good news is that the current series has smaller pool of participants compared ( around 10 or 11 players most of the time )with last series so your chances of making it to top 5 would be higher . things are crazy for me right now. i'm spending more and more time on the road, really long hours. i'm confident i can play one or two of the upcoming games. it'll be just for fun. making all 4 games and qualifying for the championship---that sounds a little farfetched to me.

Odds are I won't be making it this weekend. It's right in the middle of a long stretch of nights and that's just pushing it.

Pokerwise you won't have any issues using a VPN. I do believe when/if you go to withdraw you do have to have filled in your account personal "information", this can be anything though as there is currently no mandatory KYC. Their KYC policy only comes into place for suspected multi-accounting and/or "jackpot" type prizes - no specified amount. If you do run into any issue just shoot me or even the Betnomi account a PM here on forum to get it sorted out.

Yeah, people should definitely give it a thought. Playing in 2 qualifiers is going to cost around $30, and then you can play a $300 GTD tournament with less than 10 in it(prolly just 5-6). If it's not a positive EV game than I don't know what is.

Just connect to the series play one, two as many as you can, preferably two to take advantage of the promotion, 8 games in a leaderboard are not going to define the type of player you are or what you can be in the short or medium term.

The poker player is not the best because he wins a lot of tournaments or is always number 1 (really difficult this) is the one who has the bankroll available to play when he wants, he will always have one more opportunity.

Actually $ 15 is not an average buy to play every day unless you have a large bankroll but it is an interesting buy-in to play on Sundays with some "avatars or nick" that you see every day in the forum ...

Now if the entry is what I inhibited you are doing well, then practice do gym poker there in betnomi there are tournaments where you can practice, this is about spreading the poker in the forum ...

So if you connect any Sunday that remains, I will understand that you are already beginning to lose your fear not only to play but to have confidence that you can win.

I couldn't wait tomorrow to play poker, so I started Micro KnockThemOut, $2.5 buy-in! I had to re-buy already, two aces were weak against king and jack! Little practice before tomorrow! It would be nice to see someone from you there!  Late registration available until the end of 25 level, 7 min. levels.
